We recently hired Bristle to clean our home. Some things that you need to know before booking: 1. The people who clean your home do not work for Bristle. Bristle takes your booking and shops it around online for the lowest bid among actual cleaning companies. 2. The people who own Bristle work regular jobs and this seems like more of a hobby for them. 3. They do not supervise the people who they send to your house. They do not know when they arrive, when they leave, whether or not they did a good job, nothing. 4. We reported to Bristle that our vacuum was stolen by the people who they sent to our house. They did not care and did not replace the vacuum. They said that they took it seriously but they clearly did not. Bristle is not bonded or insured like most cleaning companies are. Our experience: Our cleaning lasted 3 days and they still were not finished, at which point we asked them not to return. On the first day there were two people and the following two days one person. They were late all three days. Some rooms looked good, others were mediocre. One of the people who came to our house was very strange and claimed that her husband's dog had been killed, that she hit her head, that she was being evicted from home, that her phone had blown up and burned her, etc. Lots of strange stories. She also explained to us that she had been constipated and needed to use our bathroom, far more detail than what we needed to hear. At the end of each day she would walk around in our driveway and talk to herself for an extended time prior to leaving. The whole situation was bizarre. After the third day we were going to vacuum to finish what they didn't and realized that our vacuum was missing. We reached out to Bristle after double-checking every room in our house prior to making the accusation. They asked if we misplaced it, took no responsibility, and said that this cleaner gets good reviews. I reached back out to state our obvious displeasure with the whole situation and they did not take any responsibility and said to call the police. Bristle is a joke of a business. DO NOT book a cleaning with them. They aren't serious about their business and do not even take theft seriously. They do not manage the companies who they send to your house. They have zero integrity and the promises that they make on their website are false. Spend your money with a more reputable company. read more

My wife and I decided to host a dinner party but were quickly overwhelmed with getting everything together that we needed. We have two little kids, and the house was a disaster. After having several positive experiences with Bristle for my clients ( I'm a real estate agent ) we had the opportunity to use them for ourselves. Autumn came out and did an amazing job on the place and helped my wife and I relax and enjoy our dinner party. Booking online in the middle of the night was the best part, so quick and painless! Bristle is super easy to use, they go a great job, dependable, and easy to communicate with. Their prices are also competitive. I especially enjoy that I don't have to play phone tag with anyone, or coordinate a visit before the cleaning. They followed the instructions to access my keys, and I didn't have to be home at all.
