Yitz installed security cameras at my house and I've had many problems working with him. He's…read moreunreliable and has poor integrity. I would never work with him again. The project took way longer than it was supposed to, but I would've been okay with that had he honored his warranty and stood by his work. He offered his own warranty in addition to what consumers are legally entitled to by the CSLB. When my cameras went offline, he had me spend hours and hours with the manufacturer tech support before he was willing to even consider looking at them. It took months to get him to come back to my house to get the cameras back online. Before he came over, he argued with me on the phone wanting me to agree in advance to pay more money, even though they went offline within one year and are covered under both warranties. He tried to negate what the warranties covered and even the wording in his own contract. He finally came to get the cameras online but wanted me to agree to cap his visit at one hour and pay for any hours above that, regardless of the reason the cameras went offline. I said if they're not back online after the first hour we can talk about it, but let's at least see what he could do in that hour. When he came over, he spent ten minutes and got most of the cameras back online, but was very resistant to answering questions or explaining what he was doing or how to prevent them going offline in the future. He rushed out the door very quickly and wasn't willing to spend the full hour. I ran out to his car to tell him two cameras were still offline and the NVR was still offline but he left anyway. He said he would come back to fix the rest soon. It's been two months and he's been ghosting me. He won't respond to my calls or texts. I really liked Yitz initially, but he's broken my trust and I've given him way too many opportunities to fix the situation. I've had too much patience. Very disappointing.

I reached out, and was promptly greeted by friendly staff who set up an appointment for me to meet with Kevin Brown, for a site walk and potential proposal. Not only was Kevin and his team friendly, informative, and professional, but Kevin was also really honest and helped me scale a little down to my preferred budget. After a few days, we accepted the proposal from Legend Tech, and for a scope that was originally slated for 4 months, Kevin had it down to a little over 12 weeks. The scope of work was re-installation of all network / audio cabling, full audio system install and design, network upgrade, and video signage / exterior displays. Our IT vendors managed the CCTV, and I noticed on a few occasions that Legend Tech interfaced with them easily and assisted them greatly. The general contractor worked easily with the Legend Tech staff, and all of their proposed timelines were exceeded. My clients got much more than their money's worth. Since the install, I have been very pleased with the ease of the control interface that Legend Tech has provided our clients with, and I am even more than pleased with the service and maintenance for small tweaks and upgrades to the system.
