Love this location! Near the hospitals so if you are a health care worker show your badge and get an additional 10 percent off. The staff works really hard here and the bowls are yummy. Great portions. My favorite sides are the sweet potatoes and cheesy cauliflower. Dig please bring back your steak options . Those are so yummy. I like the Salmon here. I think they still use Alaskan salmon which is the best. I diner in and looked like most of the tables could use a wipe down. Other than that, the store was clean. read more

Food and service were both mediocre to me unfortunately. While I enjoyed their side mac and cheese with lots of cheese and bread crumbs, my custom bowl wasn't the most exciting. The sweet potato pieces were both burnt and the roasted chicken was a little dry. The pesto was aight (could've been seasoned a little more). It was my first time at DIG and wasn't able to pull up a menu on my phone. Staff weren't really helpful at getting me oriented. They also forgot to add my sauce at the end so I had to ask them again. Happy that they give 10% to nearby hospital employees but there are other quick healthy food/salad in the area that I'd prefer over DIG. read more

Fast food, though, is not a fair description; it is in reality "efficiently planned, delicious, balanced, and nutrition meals." It proceeds from an Idealist vision, They seem to treat their employees well, too, and that results in courteous service. I've seen many similarly categorized restaurants in my hood decline or close, because the employees do not live up to the vision of the company, and so the food, too, becomes bad. From the shop's concept, it doesn't sound like much. But what sets them apart is honestly how seasoned each protein and veggie was. My friend from Boston came to visit and we stopped by Dig on a whim. She got salmon, roasted cauliflower, and cherry tomatoes over brown rice. I absolutely adore dig inn so imagine how thrilled I was to find one conveniently located a brisk walk away from my job. I speedwalked there and luckily there was only a short line. Dig inn is known for serving fast casual farm to table meals. They take basic ingredients and season them to absolute perfection. The result is a delicious, healthy, and nutritious meal. I feel like I could eat it every day. Your meal starts with choosing a base, followed by 2 sides, a main protein, and 2 sauces. That gets you the cheapest option at ~$10, the farmer's bowl. I chose a fiber rich grain called farro, mixed with their roasted chicken, cauliflower and Mac and cheese. The chicken is so moist, smooth, and mouthwateringly delicious. The cauliflower was a close second. I did choose a pesto sauce on the side but everything tastes delicious even without it. One small hiccup was that I was overcharged for my bowl because they thought I got 3 sides. I told the cashier and she immediately offered me another side which I happily accepted. I definitely will be returning here next time I'm too tired to cook lunch. read more

The kale and mac n cheese are good. All in all though, I think that the price point should be a little bit lower for what it is. So much potential, but the delivery was just lacking... literally... I ordered two bowls off Uber Eats for scheduled delivery. They arrived on time, which was great! However, the food itself was very much lacking in several aspects. For one bowl, I ordered a base of greens- but found only a few leaves of spring mix and cabbage under the rest of the "sides." The avocado I added (for a whole $2.45!) was half bruised and brown (see pic). I must add though, the roasted sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, kale and citrus salad, and herb roasted squash were amazing in their own right (and wonderfully vegan), but the portion sizes were also very small. I feel like my experience would have been better ordering in person, which I may do one day, but considering the price and portions, I think I would prefer a hearty noodle bowl from next door. read more

While the food may be quality...the digital experience and ordering through their website is garbage...once you send in your order there is no changing it, cancelling it, NOTHING. I went back on the website to try to change / update my order, no luck. I tried calling, you get an automated message to push different numbers, none of which gets you to an actual human. A nice addition to the neighborhood! I was fully expecting this place to be a sweetgreen duplicate (and directly next door to a sweetgreen, no less!). Dig Inn has the same farm-to-table vibe and plentiful accommodation of vegetarian/vegan preferences, but it's but it's more of a healthy take on comfort food rather than just another salad shop. (That being said, I love salad shops!) Overall, the food was good but not great. I enjoyed the grilled tofu, though they could have been more generous with the dressing. (Just one tiny cup for the entire bowl?) The Brussels sprouts were excellent. The mac and cheese was good though not too memorable, and I'd probably swap it out for another veggie next time. And I didn't try the beer or wine, but I appreciate that that's an option, if you want to feel more like you're having dinner and less like you're having yet another fast casual lunch. read more

Choose your bases - brown rice, greens or spiced farro with butternut squash. Choice of protein - 3 vegetable sides or tofu for vegetarian option, chicken, meatball and salmon. Choose 2 sides - choice of several vegetable options or mac & cheese. Choice of sauces. I had the salmon bowl with spiced farro, broccoli, and brussel sprouts. Had the rosemary vinaigrette sauce. The salmon had the skin on, which I like. It was good and not dry. The farro was tasty. I didn't miss the regular carbs. The sautéed broccoli was delicious. Nice and charred. The brussel sprouts were also nicely charred with sweetness using honey. It felt like a good healthy meal. I do miss the steak option though. They used to have good steak also, which they cut up in front of you. Now, the only beef option is meatballs and I'm not a meatball person. Hope they add another beef option. I bought two of the same bowls, one for me and the other for a coworker. The meal was completely cold. Steak was flavorless and chewy. The mushrooms and burnt broccoli were just as flavorless. The jammy egg was overwhelmed with black pepper. The farro was hard. Overall, I was extremely underwhelmed with the meal, as was my coworker. Won't order again. read more
