Upon encouragement from my mother, I visited Dr Cook while I was visiting home. He looked over my x-rays and did the work for $105.00, waiving part of the fee since I had been examined by another dentist a week ago. And I've been as good as new ever since and all these years later. Additionally, the staff was super warm and helpful in getting me in during the time I was home. Honestly, the level of kindness, helpfulness, and generosity made it feel like I had a family member on staff or something. In closing, Dr Cook and everyone I interacted with at canton south dental group exemplified kindness, generosity, and superior care. I will always be grateful for their help and service.

For years I was thrown under the bus by another local practice and Dr. Badwei was extremely thorough and I honestly didn't even feel the Novocaine shots, and I'm terrified of that most! I was very impressed with all of the Certificates of Degrees in the dentistry and sedation practice, he is a very highly educated and you can tell by how thorough and meticulously he worked on my teeth! I was in danger of losing two teeth and I KNOW that any other dentist I've been to wouldn't have saved them, or would have even of cared enough to have tried to save my smile. Dr. Badwei is really the best dentist I've ever been to! The office staff is really friendly and so are the dental assistants. They worked hard with my insurance to get the work approved and done very quickly! I love the stained glass window in the lobby, and the home like atmosphere of the waiting room is great. Even a activity and coloring station for kids, and I loved the comfy couch. All in all, yes I'm sore, but I actually downloaded the yelp app, made a account, JUST TO WRITE THIS REVIEW, ALL STARS AND THEY DESERVE THEM!

Parents beware…read more We've had 3 visits to the office and only 1 has been good. This last visit the dental hygienist belittled my child by saying she was acting like she was in PreK and not K because she was scared to try the sucker. They have twice now insulted me as a parent for acknowledging my kids fears. I have a child on the spectrum who has a huge fear of the dentist (thanks to a different dentist) and these fears have trickled down to my neurotypical child, and I have a lot of knowledge of psychology and special needs. The way to alleviate fears is #1) acknowledging the emotion #2) gentle encouragement to face these fears. Exposure therapy comes in steps. You have a fear of spiders you don't throw a spider in someone's lap. You start with pictures and pretending your hand is a spider. Then you see spiders from a distance behind glass. Slowly you get closer until you eventually touch one and then hold one. It's a slow steady process. This place instead of being a dental office pretends to know something about psychology (they do not) and tells you that you as a parent are making the kids scared. Then when your child is crying, they try to push and manipulate them to do what you want rather than try to help the kid past the fear. Even though our first experience was the opposite (Becky was the first dental hygienist we saw and she was FANTASTIC) I will never again go back to this place and I really hope other parents don't either.
