they ruined my daughters teeth. she got her braces off at 17 years old. when they took them off, EVERY TOP TOOTH had indentations of the bracket in each top tooth. the tooth the bracket was on, cracked because they were tightening it down to much. cracked the enamel on her teeth and caused her teeth to start going bad before she was even 18. It's tricky cuz we didn't know till the braces were removed. For that, I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE. Thx for ruining my daughters smile. read more

Wow! I am so shocked to here the one other reviewer of this practice had such an awful experience. That makes me sad. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Roger and the rest of the doctors and staff at Haas Ortho. I had my braces done by Dr Roger years ago and just came in recently because one of my lower teeth had started to shift a tiny bit because my dentist had placed a filling that disrupted some of spacing of my teeth. It was an easy fix done in one fast appointment with just a simple wire placed for a few months. I have always found Dr. Roger's bedside manner to be friendly and caring, as are all the assistants and front office staff. I primarily saw Dr. Roger for most of my appointments but on occasion, saw Drs. Mark & Eric too. They were also great. Besides from the little hiccup caused by the filling my dentist placed, my teeth look the same as the day I got my braces off 20+ years ago...and I get complimented on my smile all the time! Also, contrary to what was said elsewhere, I was charged a reasonable price for my braces, much in line (and sometimes cheaper) than the quotes I received elsewhere. I would highly recommend Haas Ortho to anyone in the greater Akron area who is looking for honest, quality orthodontics by doctors who genuinely care about their patients and lasting quality smiles! read more

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at Haas Orthodontics. I would recommend all the Doctors to anyone who asks. I was looking to have orthodontia work done at the age of 30. I was not happy with my smile (Never really was) and I was having some bite issues when I ate a variety of foods. I was lucky enough to have orthodontia coverage with my insurance and decided that I would take advantage of this coverage. After a number of people referred me to Haas Orthodontics, I called and scheduled an appointment. My consultation with Dr. Roger was great. He explained all my options and then advised of his recommendation. Then came the cost... It was incredibly reasonable and I had to have quite a bit of steps managed to obtain the desired results. What a pleasant surprise compared to what some of my friends and family have paid at other practices and some for results that they were less than happy with. After a pallet stretcher, braces, and retention, I received amazing results and I LOVED my smile for the first time! I was so pleased with Dr. Roger, Dr. Mark, and Dr. Eric and the experiences with the staff at both the Stow and Cuyahoga Falls locations that I have since taken 2 of my 3 children to see Dr. Roger for their braces. Their processes have been the same because they inherited my small pallet and crazy teeth. My oldest looks at pre-braces pictures and cannot believe how beautiful her smile is now. My Middle child is still completing the braces stage but is so excited with the progress. We cannot wait to see her final results. We know they will be amazing too!! If any of you just happened to come across my review of the crooked Orthodontists in Ravenna then this is somewhat a continuation. If not, then listen closely! These guys are scam artists & complete jerks, they will rob you blind if you let them! I was referred to Hass, I had had a previous bad experience with another orthodontists & needed years of work done to my mouth. I do not have health insurance & was told Hass would be willing to work out a payment program based on my income. But what really happened was just another orthodontists trying to rip me off. I'll admit, the staff was friendly & I hold nothing against them but the doctor himself was like (I'm not saying he did this, this is strictly an example) going on a blind date with someone who hasn't had sex in years & keeps groping you even though you're clearly not interested... And here's why I project such a negative image about my experience there: After having x-rays & molds made of my mouth, there was no question that I needed braces again for the second time in my life. After my previous awful experience with an orthodontists I was very hesitant about getting old fashioned/ painful metal braces again & didn't hesitate to verbally express my concerns. I had done my homework prior to this visit & knew there were other options available to me, such as invisaline or dentures, etc... Dr. Roger was just flat out rude, as soon as we discussed my previous experience with braces he became very defensive and started making unprofessional accusations about how I have no right to assume all orthodontists are evil money grubbing jerks. I felt as if he was trying to force his own personal beliefs on me & was very uncomfortable. Dr. Roger also refused to give me dentures & lied to me about the invisaline process! He told me invisaline is only for patients who need just one or two teeth slightly adjusted. This is incorrect!!! Invisaline is for (almost) anyone who had metal braces, a retainer, or a few teeth out of place who would like them to be corrected but without the pain, maintenance or embarrassment of out dated methods such as metal brackets & plastic rubber bands. He also told me it was out of my price rang & got really shitty with me when he realized how little money I had. He then continued to put boat loads of pressure on me, saying that my car payments can wait & attempted to convince me that I should get a loan from the bank next door. That if I left his office & went straight there & mentioned his name that they would give me all the money I needed- this guy just would not stop nagging me over & over again about applying for a loan. Then when we finally spoke price, he said he would only be willing to give me metal braces & it would cost me $9,000.00 just for the application!!! That price did not include the monthly doctors office fee nor the monthly cost of having them tighten my braces. $9,000.00 for someone who has no insurance & makes less than $10,000.00 a year- wtf! So I never went back, ever! Instead I went to Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry & was able to get Invisaline for under $3,000.00 dollars! And my smile looks awesome without the pain, expenses & embarrassment of old fashioned braces!!! read more

I would have to say that Haas Orthodontics lives up to their stellar legacy of being top of their field. I can't imagine how the other reviewer had such a polar opposite experience from what I and thousands of other patients have had from these 3 proffessionals. I had several horrible dental visits in my past and had difficulty going back to the dentist as a result. I Iwould even have panic attacks when going to my appointments. This all changed when I made the choice to get braces at Haas Orthodontics. I came to them on the reccomendation of many others, concerning the level of work, policies, financial options, and overall friendliness of the staff. From the moment I walked in for my consultation to the day I had the braces removed, I felt totally at ease and respected by all staff and the doctors themselves. I was given several options for my treatement and received different insights as a result of being seen by all 3 doctors. I trusted all of them and went with what they felt was the best for me, both in a dental aspect, as well as what fit my budget. The payment plan that was offered was totally reasonable and when I got laid off, the staff and doctors worked with me on payments until I gained employment. I would and do reccomend Haas to anyone looking to have Orthodontic work done. In fact, when I receive a compliment on my smile, I tell them I owe my smile to the Haas brothers and their excellent work. read more

Dr. Mark and the Haas brothers did an excellent job correcting my daughters teeth so I decided to consult them myself. Dr. Mark said he could fix my teeth without jaw surgery and I was delighted because the other ortho practices I had consulted earlier said I had to have the surgery which I didn't want. My teeth are beautiful now and I found the Haas brothers and the staff to be very pleasent and their prices very reasonable especially for all their expertise. They were recommended to me by my dentist and several freinds and I believe they are the best in Akron - highly recommend them!! read more

My orthodontic experience at Haas Orthodontic Arts was extraordinary! I had severely crowded teeth, and Dr. Roger gave me a perfectly straight smile within 2 years and at a price at or below all other estimates I received. Dr. Roger was always professional, kind, and explained all parts of the process in detail and in terms that were understandable. I know I am not alone when I say that I don't love receiving dental work, but Dr. Roger was so gentle and reassuring during all of my treatment. The staff at each location (I visited all of them during my time in braces) was always so friendly and welcoming at every single one of my appointments. I felt like we were all a team fixing my teeth together! I now receive compliments on my teeth almost everyday. I am so glad I discovered Haas Orthodontic Arts and Dr. Roger. I can say, without hesitation, that Dr. Roger and Haas Orthodontic Arts changed my life and allowed me to smile again. Dr. Roger changed my life in another way, too- I am now a dentist in Lima, Ohio, and I can honestly say that Dr. Roger and his staff inspired me to pursue a career in dentistry. Now, with more knowledge and experience in the field, I can truly appreciate his skills and talent for creating a beautiful smile.
