I limped my truck there because i was down the street and got a nasty vibration and noise. After keeping it overnight for diagnostic, I was told that my front passenger wheel bearing was bad. The noise was coming from underneath the cab, the wheel bearing was less than 2 years old (Moog), and the noise/vibration was nothing like a bad bearing. Furthermore, the tire did not wiggle at all when lifted off the ground. After taking it home, i did my own diagnostic and found the transfer case fluid burnt and full of metal shavings, the forward u-joint on the rear driveshaft was getting hung up, and the middle u-joint on the rear driveshaft had completely destroyed the needle bearings. Swapped out the transfer case and the 2 bad u-joints and both the vibration and noise went away. Take caution of what they diagnose for you. I'd been out easily $500 for the bearings and it would have not solved anything. read more

Well, once again, Diesel Master's has come to my rescue. I was out, pretty far from home with my truck and horse trailer loaded for a fun day. Well, later when it was time to go, engine idiled horribly, no go, and black smoke. I had someone follow me home in case we died...enough of that, we got home. Diesel Masters is the best. I've had the turbo removed and rebuilt, bullet proof ERG cooler, water pump and oil cooler installed. The install required that the AC system be evacuated and recharged. As a result of this work I had a refrigerant leak, they were prompt in getting the leak repaired at not additional charge. Let's just say the name Diesel Masters is not false advertising. I recently purchased an '02 F250 after my previous truck was wrecked by a hit and run driver on the freeway. My new F250 had a couple of problems that I knew about when I purchased it. I knew it had an oil leak, steering sloppy (notorious), etc etc and I figured it would be a simple fix. Well I couldn't work on it due to back/neck pain so I take it up to a shop that was recommended to us up in San Jacinto (About an hour drive one way) and the guy took a look at the truck. He stated I had multiple oil leaks coming from different areas of the truck (Some I even questioned because I didn't understand how it could happen. Now I'm not a mechanic, but I'm not an idiot and I usually work *cough cough break cough* my own stuff), and all different things were wrong with it. He originally quoted me $1500, then moved it to $2500, and he said it could potentially cost even more. I drove home, and was pondering it when *DING DING DING* I remembered there there was a Diesel Mechanic (Diesel Masters) a couple doors down in our business suites. I shoot on down there and talk to Jaime in which he told me he wants to fully inspect it. I brought my truck in the next day at 8:00 AM. He took my truck to the pressure washer, washed the bay to clear out all the oil then drove it back and inspected it. Once he did this, he inspected it. At 11:53 I received a text from him and he found the source of the leak. I went down there when I could break away for a couple minutes from work and he explained everything. There was 1 oil leak and I asked How much will it cost to fix it? *Drum Roll* Jaime said $10.00 I was in shock, how can he spend all that time inspecting the truck, drove it to the pressure washer, took time out of his day to do this and only charge me $10 for the part. I told him YES! Please replace it, he called his guy and same day the part was replaced. I couldn't believe he didn't want any money for the labor and I felt like I owed him, and couldn't let that go. Total cost: $10 for a replacement plug (I believe off the HPOP?) Couple bucks for the pressure washer Case of beer. Thank you so much Jaime, P.S This guy is so awesome, when my truck threw a code (simple sensor more than likely) I shot him a quick text with the code just to make sure it wasn't anything major. When I talked to him I immediately liked him, he seemed honest, responsible and overall a pretty good dude. Can't say enough about Juan and Jaime. Being new to the area, I came to them since they were very close to where I live and also that they are Powerstroke specialists. I have been to them a few times now since my van is a 2002 7.3 Powerstroke and needed some maintenance. Also being a van, it is a little more difficult to work on in some cases. Every time I've taken it in, they resolve the issue each time and in a timely manner. Never once have I felt that they were dishonest with me with any of the fixes. I'm not a mechanic but I do know enough about engines to keep up in conversation with these guys. First let me tell you how I found out about DIESEL MASTERS. My '05 6.0 was broke down on the side of the road. Juan, one of the owners stopped to help me. He rigged up a quick fix to get me home, gave me a business card, and quoted me a very reasonable price for the repair. They say actions speak louder than words. Got completely bamboozled by these guys for $800+. Took F450 in for cold start problems - ended up replacing ONE injector and not a factory injector for $800+ - absolutely no difference in truck. Took the truck 3.5 hours away to Holtville CA and got truck diagnosed, fixed (needed all 8 OEM injectors, module and sensor) and back on the road in 1 week. For the past 2 months I have noticed that my 6.0 powerstroke has been progressively loosing more and more coolant I have 150k miles and have heard that is when they usually go. I found diesel masters through a friend and dropped my truck off within a day or two I get that dreaded call that my headgaskets are gone so immediately I must decide weather to get rid of the truck or fix it. I bought the truck brand new and it is always garaged I wasn't sure If I wanted put such a large investment into this old of a truck. I talked to Juan and he assured me that if I bulletproof the truck that it will be completely dependable and all the ford problems will be fixed.
