Admittedly, I was a little concerned from reading the negative reviews, but this place came highly recommended from a friend that works at a local GM dealership. I couldn't be happier! First of all, GREAT customer service from all the staff, but Donavon was outstanding! He spent nearly 20 mins on the phone with me before I even brought my truck in explaining what he thought maybe the problem and what they offered and why. I ended up have all 8 injectors replaced, 2 glow plugs, oil change, 2 new thermostats, fuel filter housing rebuilt and new fuel filter for LESS than a friend got quotes 4 weeks earlier at another location for just 8 identical injectors. I waited several weeks to see how the truck faired before leaving a review, knowing that I had to pull 1,000+ miles over mountains within a week or two of repair. Absolutely not the same truck! Pulled 16K 5th wheel like it was brand new! Over 3 passes 8,000 ft above sea level and 3-4 over 7,000. No sweat. I highly recommend their service and repair. I am telling everyone I know with the same symptoms to see these people. NOTE: Repair done on '07 Duramax Low Fuel Rail Pressure code. Glow Plugs 2 & 8 bad. Technician stated it was likely the controller, but wouldn't know until plugs were replaced. It ended up being controlled. read more

Update to my earlier review: I was preparing for the Sierra trip I mentioned when I noticed a spot of coolant under the truck. I called Donavan and he told me to bring it in and he would check it out. I figured it was something related to the hose that they had fixed, which they didn't charge me for and his tech probably spent 2 hours on it. It turned out that my water pump was starting to leak, not bad yet and there was absolutely no pressure to replace it, but being the good guy that he is, Donavan ordered the parts and got it done for me as quickly as he could to ensure that I could take my trip to the Sierras without the threat of losing my cooling system 300 miles away from home. I got back this weekend from the Sierras and the truck ran amazing! It pulled up the grades without breaking a sweat and ran nice and cool like it was suppose to and I was pulling through 100 degree weather. Like I said before, Diesel Injection Service is the only shop that will wrench on this truck from now on. read more

These guys are awesome!! I've been here twice and always left with a smile. They are super knowledgeable and honest. The first diagnosis was spot on and gave me peace of mind, but it included a warning that there was a strong possibility that one or more of my injectors was returning too much fuel causing my truck to go into limp mode from low fuel rail pressure while under heavy load. I finally pulled the trigger on having them pull and test the injectors. Testing confirmed the initial diagnosis so they installed new injectors and fixed a leaking coolant line to the turbo which again gives me peace of mind that I am good to tow my trailer to the Sierras without worrying about failures. I have every confidence in recommending them to any diesel owner that needs top notch mechanical work done by honest people that won't take advantage like so many diesel shops do. They will take the time to explain things in such a way that you will feel comfortable making an educated decision. This is the only shop that will ever see my truck for any mechanical issues! I have taken my truck here a few times. There was a issue during my first time here with a glow plug snapping and falling into the head. They owned up to it and covered the cost for pulling the head and getting it resurfaced. Since then I have been back for Injectors, Fuel system and most recent turbo upgrade. They do quality work in a timely manner. Donovan is quite simply the best when it comes to quotes and getting jobs done. read more

I have a 01 Ford F-250 7.3 liter which had an annoying oil leak. I took my truck in to other mechanics and spent a lot of money trying to get it fixed with no luck. It was very frustrating for me. This shop was recommended to me by a neighbor friend. I dropped my truck off and spoke with Anthony and Donovan and explained my situation. I received a phone call about a week later from Donovan explaining to me that there were several places that the truck was leaking oil. Rear main seal, oil pan, turbo pedestal. Also had an exhaust leak from up pipes. I had them repair all of these things. My hats off to the mechanic Carlos who worked relentlessly on solving all these problems. The communication I received from Donovan and Anthony was great. The price I was charged for all work done was more than reasonable. I have had my truck now for over two months and no more leaks. Hands down, THE BEST customer service around. These guys have been helping me troubleshoot my first gen 12 valve fuel delivery issues and I couldn't have done it without them! I came across these guys and this shop when my truck began to hard start when hot. After going through the truck and replacing the obvious culprits and still no cure I searched for a shop willing to assist me. No shop anywhere near me would even touch my ole girl because it's a mechanical truck. This place is an excellent place to get work done. I had my truck here and it had to stay overnight. They have a security guard on site 24 hours and lock rod iron gate. They took care of the problem for a low price. Also, happy to get my oil changes done here. They are quick and have excellent customer service. They tell you the truth and constantly keep good communication with you in regards to your truck and informing you of changes that are needed before doing anything. I put gasoline in a diesel engine and they were able to diagnose it quickly and allowed me to tow it there with no problems. They didn't lie to me and try to sell me other things I needed to do to drain the gas out. They were on point here. They took care of this girl and I am one happy customer. read more

Took my father's 03 Silverado Duramax diesel in to rebuild all 8 injectors. Also sold us on a FASS Lift pump too. They originally gave us a 4 day turn around time (dropped off a 8am Monday). It ended up taking 7 business days (picked up the next Wednesday). They did give us a nice discount to compensate. It's now been 3 years and just under 60k miles and injector 4 is failing and truck is smoking again. Injectors should have lasted at least 150k miles. Spent over $4000 with that company and now we need to spend money to get the injector rebuilt again. read more

Stay AWAY!! SERIOUSLY, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEING RIPPED OFF. THIS COMPANY KEEPS RIPPING FOLKS OFF BECAUSE THEY FIGURE PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS COME TO THEM... DON'T!! You know, most people take a chance and go see for themselves what a company can do... Unfortunately I ignored the bad reviews and went there anyway just to find out this place is the most nightmare of any mechanic nightmare. They have no ethics what so ever and will purposely damage your engine badly to force you to spend money there. I brought my GMC 6.5 Turbo in to them because an employee said it died on him three times at a light. It ran perfect other than that. I took it to these people and after a week and a half of me calling everyday they finally said they could not duplicate the problem. Nobody who answers the phone knows anything, they put you on hold for 20 minutes to come back and tell you they still know nothing.. After a week and a half they told me to come pick it up that they reset the codes and wanted my guy to drive it to see if they come back. Now mind you, all the truck did was die at a light on occasion.... When I sent my employee to pick it up he called the office within minutes to tell me that the truck was running so bad that it scared him... It was running away him, shaking very badly and spewing fuel out of a fuel line onto the manifold. I called the shop and of course they said they didn't touch anything.. What they did do was the worst thing you can do to a Diesel Engine, intentionally run out a 1/4 tank of gas, which they knew would destroy the pump and they get to make money. Then they told my employee it was perfectly OK to drive away, thus insuring the total destruction of the pump, new filter and PMD. After a week of round and round and them ignoring me they finally told me they were not going to offer me anything other than a higher price for a repair that I did not need when they first got the truck. They quoted me $2300 for the pump, filter and installation.. I had the work Performed by a very reputable company right off Est in San Bernardino for $1350.00. And that was for more work than this rip company was going to do.. IF YOU EVER LISTEN TO ONE REVIEW, LET THIS BE THE ONE!! read more

Went to get my tires done, everyone was super nice and the mechanics that worked on my truck were very good at letting me know how it was going and how much longer it was going to take. Not only they did my tires, but they also checked out a problem I told them about for free! Also while I was waiting i was able to sit down and watch a movie on their Apple TV. If you are looking for a company that can rebuilt your diesel fuel pump, look no further. I brought my 1989 Hercules engine pump here at Diesel Injection and I got to meet Tom, the technician. I was a little concerned that my pump could be rebuilt back to new condition. When I dropped it off to Danny at the front counter I was told that if there were any issues with the pump I would be contacted. I was contacted by the technician (Tom) but only to ask about the issues that I was having with my pump. Needless to say the unit was rebuilt back to original condition and the rest is history. Ok well here is the truth about how this place . I go here all the time when I have a question or need a repair. They stand buy there work and I had a small issue with a leaky fuel return line and they fixed it for free and the Tech came out and told me what was wrong with it and what they did to fix it. I have tried many diesel shops and tried to find a good awnest shop. And these guys buy far are the cheapest out there. Other shops charge 120 to 180 an hr for labor only now keep in mind the dealers are at 180 an hr. I my self am a heavy equipment mechanic I know what these guys are saying and what the parts cost my self. I'll bring my parts to these guys and they will put them on , no warranty of corse but it's ok with me. If you believe one bad review your stupid the fact is that there mechanics are ASE certified and know they can't hand those out. Have to go to a facility to acquire that certification. It's better to pay a little extra money for repair by someone who knows what they're doing then to underpay for bad work no warrantee inferior parts especially for a diesel. These guys are second-best to a dealership if not better. So if you think you're getting ripped off go do your research call different shops checked her hourly rate see their work and you will see you at diesel injection knows what they're doing and they have the latest Technology in pump and injection rebuilding.
