4/19/25 This is our official dine in visit and the beginning of our Old Town Scottsdale tour tonight! Food 5/5 Excellent! Whiskey Burger is everything I expected. Great toppings worked perfectly together! My side was the garlic fries which were delicious too. My wife went light with the pretzel bites which she enjoyed and she shared my Burger. Service 5/5 We were greeted by the friendly hostess who let up pick our spot. Our waitress Kennedy stopped over quickly to take drink orders and our food when she return. It wasn't nightlife yet so food came out quickly. She checked on us regularly, Great experience! Ambiance 5/5 Happening vibe, great music and sound system. $44.74 w/Tip Part of our Old Town Night Life. More stops more reviews let go. SYOY!

This was our first bar of the night, and it was great! We ordered the Blueberry Lemonade cocktail and I loved it! It was the perfect amount of sweetness and you could taste the kick of alcohol as well. We went towards 9PM, so it wasn't as lively as it would be towards the end of the night, but I still loved the vibes. I wish they played more country music, but that's just me! Service was great too; drinks came out very fast. I've now been to three Whiskey Rows!

We've stopped into Dierks a couple of times now, and both visits were great! The manager was kind enough to put the Mariners ALCS game on for us the first day we came in--and again last night--even though it was a Nebraska game night and all the TVs are supposed to be on Nebraska. We tucked away on the other side of the bar and got to watch our team win Game 5! The bartenders were super friendly as well and even cheered us on! It's that kind of hospitality that makes a place memorable. Great drinks, friendly staff, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Good country music bar. A typical Scottsdale bar beside the country flare. It doesn't have the same high venue/service fees that other bars in the area have. Didn't try any of the food, but the drinks were good and reasonably priced for the area. Around 8/9pm on a Friday night there was no cover charge, but i'm not sure about later in the night.

Came to Dierks Bentley's on a Friday night. Arrived around 7 pm and it was busy but not overly crowded. Greeted immediately upon entering by the hostess who said bar seating or table seating was available. We chose to sit at the bar. The bartenders were quick all had great attitudes. Took our drink order and prepared the drinks quickly. Started off with the spinach dip and pita. The pitas were grilled and soft the spinach dip creamy and delicious. She Gave us ample time to review the menu for food and we went with the Spicy Chicken sandwich and thought the PBJ slider looked good. One of the bartenders said she hadn't tried it but one of the managers loved it. Decided to give it a try. It is angus beef, American cheese, chunky peanut butter, berry jam and chipotle mayo. Sounded like a very interesting combination. I am glad I tried it. It was very unique and I enjoyed it. I can see where it might not be for everyone but I will definitely order it again. The chicken sandwich was not overly spicy and tasted good. Also ordered sweet potato fries which were crisp and exactly how I thought they would be. As the night progressed it got very busy and our spot at the bar was perfect. After the band finished, a DJ took over and that's when the night really stopped to heat up. The outfits they were wearing were pretty sexy. Before you knew it was very busy and everyone was dancing and having fun. But eh end of the night we had a throughly good time. The only surprise was they added the gratuity and I didn't realize that. It was 22% and I added my tip so they were well tipped. Definitely going to go back

With a friend's recommendation, my wife and I decided to check this place out while we were out in Chandler. On a Saturday night, we went in and the occupancy rate if I would have to guess at around maybe 80%. Still a packed crowd nonetheless, with the decors and lighting with a live performance happening we knew this spot was happening around town. Here are my thoughts on the food we ordered: Appetizer: Whiskey wings (10/10) - This was in my opinion the star of the night. The wings were uniquely seasoned added with their inhouse whiskey bbq sauce should be a must try for all newcomers to this restaurant! Entrees: Beer can chicken (9/10) - This chicken was tender and tasty with a slight scent of beer in them. It was slightly saltier then I would have preferred, otherwise decently made. BBQ Platter (5/10) - This platter you would think came with all types of meat right? Wrong! The only meat you get here is some brisket and sausage for meat. The dish is complimented with some corn bread, house fries, bbq sauce, and pickles. I was a bit disappointed at the brisket. They were a little hard and dry and without the bbq sauce, this would have been a hard one to eat. The sausage and the remaining items were okay, nothing that you haven't had in other bbq like restaurants. I really didn't like the brisket much and thus I couldn't finish the plate. Service: (10/10) - I can't recall my waitress' name but she was really attentive to our needs. She earned the decent tip we gave her and an extra star here for this review bumping it from 3 to 4. All in all, I would say if you do come here, order their chicken. It is quite evident that they had a lot more chicken on the menu and it is indeed the better choice on meat to eat here. The vibe is lively with cool decors from the inside, think bbq/bar type environment. I would recommend staying away from brisket here though.

Ask the Community - Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row

Is there a mechanical bull?

Not that we saw. It is not a country bar.

Do you offer line dancing? And is it 21 and over only?

Hi Natalie, Yes we are 21 and over. We do not have a traditional line dancing time but on Thursdays from 7-10pm we do have a live band in which some people do line dance occasionally. Thank you

What time does covers start on the weekend?

No cover charge. Enjoy!

Can you split checks in the dining area?

Yes you can. Enjoy.

Is this still 21 and up only after 8pm? I'm planning a bachelorette party and only one of our girls is 19 and I've been struggling to find a place in AZ for some fun dancing that all of us can go to? 8 pm is really early for us to call it quits lol.

Yes,I have been there many times at night. Its definitely over 21.

Any way I can get the recipe for the ranch dressing? BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!!! PLEASE!!!!

Hi Tami, glad you loved it, but sorry, we don't share our recipes. Guest you are just going to have to visit us often :). Have a great day, Kevin

Sorry for the delay. Service dogs only. Thank you, Kevin

No dress code. Fun & casual!

Are they open for line dancing & bottle service?

Yes

What days is there live music?

Check their website.

Do you have to be 21? Or is there a time 21 and under have to leave by on the weekends?

You can be under 21 until club hours, which vary a little but, but not likely allowed after 8pm.

What time does food service end?

Sundays-wed till 10p, Thur-sat till 9p. Thank you, Kevin

What day(s) are trivia nights? Thank you in advance!

Thursday at 7pm!

What is the the line up like for a group of 11 at around 10pm on a Friday?

Hi Brittany, there is typically a line, but it tends to move fast. We of course cannot forecast what the specific Friday might look like when you come....Hope this helps a little bit. Enjoy, Kevin

We were lucky enough that it happened to be restaurant week (1 appetizer, 1 entree, & 1 dessert for the price of $55!) I decided to get their infamous original chopped salad, fair trade short ribs, & blueberry pudding cake. My partner opted for the burrata paired with their noble bread, crispy salmon, & midnight brownie. Our favorites were their burrata & crispy salmon, with our not so favorites being the rest. The chopped salad was mediocre at best, nothing worth coming back for. The short ribs were overcooked, making it extremely dry. The blueberry pudding cake was incredibly dense and dry. The brownie was as hard as a rock, making it difficult to pick up a piece without breaking the plate while at it. Overall, my partner and I were quite disappointed with our meals. The only silver lining was that our server, Nicholas, was phenomenal!

This place needs to be recognized more... or maybe not and I can keep it to myself haha…read more I love how the restaurant is 'hidden' but also in plain site. Inside, the restaurant is covered with plants, arts, and has that dark, sexy vibe. We came here for a double date for restaurant week but opted for the main menu. Our server was Shreese and she made the entire experience top notch. We got the crispy rice egg yolk nigiri and hamachi crudo. Per Shereese's rec, smear the cured egg yolk on the hamachi and it's so good! Shereese also brought us ravioli to try with fried sage which was decadent and exploded with flavor. For entrees, I got the wagyu NY strip with bone marrow butter and a pommes puree. My boyfriend got the bison ribeye. Both were delicious and had a nice crust on the outside. Didn't have room for dessert but you only live once so make room. The banana bread banana split was to die for. If you go here for one thing, it has to be that. But you should go anyways to try the great dishes this spot has to offer.

I love beef, and I love arugula, but it tasted like the arugula was sitting in lemon juice for so long before plating that the bitterness of it bled into the beef, so the beef itself was strangely bitter. Sides and entrees were fantastic except for pommes puree. Well made, but it was extremely salty and almost inedible. The scallops were well cooked and the pasta was very good and cooked perfectly tender. Some of the best pappardelle I've had. We sat at the bar and service was great. The bartender was very friendly. Ambiance inside is cute and cozy.

However, every time we visited in the past, we had a great experience--until this last visit. We made a reservation for 7:45 PM but didn't get seated until 8:30 PM. While this isn't terrible, it can be challenging when you have a little one with you, but it's to be expected as a parent. Once we were at our table, we ordered drinks and food for the kids. My wife ordered a cocktail, and I opted for an Old Fashioned. The kids ordered pasta and a cheese pizza. This is when things started to go downhill. The pasta was okay, but the pizza had a few hairs on it--more than one, in fact. This made us uncomfortable, so we informed the waiter, and they addressed the issue promptly. As we waited for the new pizza, our drinks arrived, and they were nicely presented. However, while sipping my Old Fashioned, I noticed something unusual in my drink--Tajin. Curious, I asked the waiter if this was a special variation of the Old Fashioned. She replied no, so I pointed out the issue in my glass, and she confirmed she saw the Tajin as well. I felt she was treating it as if it was acceptable, which it clearly wasn't, so I looked at her, signaling that I would like a new drink. (I wish I had taken pictures.) Following that, our main dishes started to arrive. My wife ordered a wagyu steak, and I had the pork loin. Unfortunately, we began to analyze everything after the earlier mishaps, and the vibe of the experience was completely lost. To make matters worse, we were still charged for the pizza that had hair on it and the drink that had the issue. With all that being said, I've decided I will no longer be dining here.
