I'd done a fair amount of research, and Minh was happy to answer my questions and explain everything before starting. He also explained each step as he performed it. The whole process was easy and comfortable, and I felt well taken care of. And he gave me a cute little gift bag with some useful dental supplies, which was an unexpected and very nice touch. My teeth improved 10 shades with this first treatment--I still have a long way to go, but that was better than I had hoped! I will definitely book follow-up appointments to continue the improvement.

I came in the week of my wedding for a spray tan, and Mandy did a fantastic job. She walked me through the entire process, explained everything in detail, and had me in and out in about 15 minutes. The tan turned out so natural, exactly what I was hoping for. It looked absolutely beautiful in my wedding photos, and I was so impressed with how long it lasted afterward. One of my favorite touches was that Mandy offers different scent options to mix into your spray tan so you don't leave smelling like the typical spray tan solution. I chose the pineapple scent, and it smelled SO good! I also took advantage of their Tuesday special, where spray tans are only $40, making it an even better value. Mandy is friendly, professional, and clearly knows what she's doing. I'll definitely be back before my birthday trip to Vegas!

I cleared my schedule and was on time to my appointment. I get there and recieve X-rays, as you usually would, but the cleaning never happened, time was going by and I kept waiting for someone to come in and clean my teeth before I finally got fed up and inquired at the front desk, they told me I was booked for an "exam" only. Ridiculous.

Dr. Martenson and her team are amazing!…read more I have been plagued with weak enamel, so I am cavity prone and no stranger to dental work. After searching for a new dentist (due to moving) I was enthusiastically recommended Dr. Martenson by a co-worker. Since being a patient at Piedmont Dental by Design, I have had a cleaning, numerous composites/fillings and a new crown installed. During my first visit, it was made clear that Dr. Martenson (or someone on her team) read through my chart, as she specifically brought up my proclivity to not numb well. Instead of wasting time in the beginning of my restorative care appointments by giving me the standard dose, she has given me extra anesthetic, to ensure I am comfortable. Her injection technique is also amazing, as I haven't felt the usual pinch of pain. Reading a patient's chart shouldn't be impressive, but I find most doctors ask questions I've already answered and act surprised when I give a response. My composites and crowns are also the most cosmetically impressive work I have ever had. My newest crown looks exactly like a real tooth. The other 5 from previous dentists all have an opaqueness which screams "fake". My composites also blend flawlessly into the tooth. Manny was my hygienist- he was gentle, communicative, and did an excellent job removing years of coffee stains I thought were forever. The office staff has submitted necessary paperwork to my insurance in a very timely manner. I did have to pay for procedures in full, then wait for a reimbursement check. I could see this as problematic for people, but they did offer me a payment plan. As for the actual prices, I've googled and talked to friends about what they pay for various procedures...for the quality of work and care, I think every dime is well spent here.

I canceled my appointment and let them know their service was disappointing. I would avoid this place.

It created an intense fear of the dentist in me that leads me to having to wait until the pain outweighs the fear to deal with dental infections. It's awful. Dr. Shruti Lakhanpal has seen me twice now for emergency tooth extractions. She is calm, caring and incredibly good at what she does. She has made me feel safe and cared for at my very worst moments and for that I am so very grateful. Other dentists will try to push root canals on me, but she understands that with my trauma- that's just not possible. She's a talented dentist and a really good person and if you're like me and have deep dental trauma - I highly recommend seeing her. Her calm energy will make you feel safe. Thank you Dr Shruti! You are magic!

A very efficient and communicative dental office!…read more My first appointment with Dr. Shin was last week, it was super quick & very thorough. I don't think I've ever had the opportunity to learn about gum pocket depth the way I did here! Today I had my cleaning with Lucien. I was done in less than 20 minutes! He explained every step thoroughly and even explained what options I have if I ever wanted to fill my tooth gap. Also, this was one of the most thorough cleanings I've had in years. My previous dental office was a big corporation, I'm not sure if alameda landing is private, but it sure is great and the staff seem a lot more relaxed here. Both times I only waited about 10-15 minutes to be called into the treatment area/exam room. A huge difference compared to my previous 1 hour+ waits at my old dentist.
