The office is actually called FAMILY PRACTICE ASSOCIATES, it is Dr. Ghanian's office BUT mainly, as far as I can tell, Dr. Basa and Dr. Hector are available. I was recommended to this place by a family member. This was my first visit to a doctor since 2008 because I never had a good experience with doctors. I needed a yearly check up to know where I am standing with my health and needed to follow up because of my ER visit a few days prior to the appointment. The office and rooms are very clean as well as the restroom. Front desk is alright, they could be a bit more welcoming, friendly/professional but you're here to see the doctors so it's whatever. I was seen quickly and was in and out of the office in about an hour. Everyone in the back is nice and welcoming. Dr Hector took the time to answer my questions. I felt like he actually heard my concerns and had valid answers/ solutions to them and took his time with me. I never felt rushed. I have also heard great recommendations for Dr. Maria Basa. I am a skeptical person, when I look for Doctors, I want to make sure that they'll treat me like an important person rather than a number that just walks in the door. The staff were extremely nice, helpful, and pleasant when it came to the pre-screening stuff. Dr. Chang was also extremely nice and helpful when it came to my wellness check and was honest with what I should be doing. After my appointment with Dr. Chang, she made a couple referrals to other Doctors that specialized more in what I was looking for and made it extremely easy for me to schedule appointments with said Doctors. I am extremely happy that I gave this place a chance and I'll definitely refer this place to others!

It was the month of October and the year was 2010...I had a cold that would not budge. I had seen many doctors, scheduled a lot of appointments, and taken prescription medication as well as over the counter; NOTHING WORKED! My mother was concerned and asked me to see a different doctor; therefore I did. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Joyce Chang, as a new patient that very day. I was able to see her within the hour and once I did, she had me out the door and rushed to the Emergency Room. Dr. Joyce Chang had performed the tests necessary to conclude what my illness was. Upon doing so...I had to be rushed to the Emergency Room. Next thing I knew, I had to have all of my family next to me and inform them of my massive tumor growing inside of me. If it wasn't for Dr. Joyce Chang, I would not be sitting here and typing this review. Because of the massive tumor, I have since had an additional surgery (total of two), but I cannot thank Dr. Joyce Chang enough. She is my guardian angel.

She asks a lot of questions to make sure she's got the whole picture to best help you get better and to keep being healthy. But no worries if you're there to see her with an awkward issue. There's no one who makes embarrassing medical stuff easy to talk about better than Dr. Chang. She's also very fond of ordering tests, (including some you've never heard of or seen on an episode of House) to make sure she catches those 1 in a million diagnoses and she doesn't miss anything. Dr. Chang is also very much for keeping the patient informed. I never leave her office without some sort of pamphlet or handout to educate myself and being proactive about my health. I've had 4 doctors total in my life, and after Dr. Stewart, my childhood pediatrician who was the epitome of awesome, Dr. Chang is a very close 2nd.

She looked at it, said if i treat this it will be a different dx code. I said no need to treat it as m already putting antibiotic. She then said its bleeding and gave me cotton. She ended up charging me $350 to give me a cotton. This is despite telling her not to treat anything outside physical. She will ask u problem which is what physical is for but unlike other docs she will charge u even if she did nothing to treat it. Memorial care does not care, they love her for obvious reasons.
