First I paid $120 which is a little steep but I knew my daughter was going to be in great hands. My daughter and I were placed in a room and one of the nurse gave me a placard of all of the earrings that I could pick for my daughter. I picked the smaller gold earring for April's birthstone. The doctor came in and explained everything to me. She gave me an ear cleaning solution to use on my daughter at home and she showed me the earrings and then I realized they were too small. I asked the doctor if I could get the bigger size and she got them. I really appreciate that. The doctor cleaned my daughter's ears 3 times on each side and used a marker to mark where the earrings would go. I was happy with the placement and the doctor even asked if I was comfortable holding my daughter and I was. The doctor pierced the 1 ear and my daughter started crying and then switched to the other side and pierced the other side. My daughter was crying for quite some time and she was very angry at me on the ride home. Almost a week later her ears and piercing looks great. I am thankful for the staff here for doing such a great job on my daughter's ears. I would definitely come here again for my future daughter's ears. Thank you Dr. Liu and staff.

During our discussion, I was explaining my concerns about delaying a certain medical schedule (not refusing it completely) but I felt the conversation became more of a lecture than a discussion. I would have appreciated a more collaborative approach to addressing our questions. I was also surprised by several recommendations that were presented as personal preferences, including that baby-led weaning is better than purées and a recommendation to avoid traveling with children until they are 2 years old. Given that my baby is not yet sitting up independently (she's 5 months old and still floppy), I would have preferred guidance that was more tailored to her developmental readiness, along with an explanation of the evidence behind these recommendations. One of the reasons we chose this practice was because the website states that they work collaboratively with families regarding certain healthcare topics. Unfortunately, that was not our experience during this visit with Mike. Rather than feeling that our questions were explored through a collaborative discussion, we felt that there was limited opportunity for dialogue. I value providers who explain the reasoning behind their recommendations, discuss the available evidence, and partner with families to make informed decisions. Unfortunately, I left feeling that there was limited opportunity for discussion or individualized guidance.

We were only 10 minutes late, with a toddler in tow, and it was our very first visit. Life with little ones can be unpredictable, and we expected a little understanding. Instead, we were charged a $50 fee, which they refused to waive, even after we explained the situation. We understand the importance of timeliness, but a bit of grace would have gone a long way, especially for new families trying to find the right care team. It left us feeling more like a number than valued patients. Great provider, but the rigid policy and lack of flexibility took away from an otherwise positive experience

She has been a trusted part of our family's journey through childhood, adolescence, and all the milestones in between. It's hard to put into words how grateful I am for the care she has given our family over all these years. There is such a comfort in knowing your children are in the hands of someone you completely trust, and Dr. Nguyen has been that person for us. We have referred everyone we know to her, and we will continue to do so without hesitation. If she is still practicing when the day comes, I sincerely hope my grandchildren will have the privilege of being cared for by her, too. That's how much we trust and value her. Thank you, Dr. Nguyen, for 18 incredible years of care, kindness, and love. Today feels like the end of an era, but we are leaving this chapter with so much gratitude. And yes--my Yelp review from 11 years ago definitely aged well. Turns out I knew exactly what I was talking about!

My son has been a patient at this office since birth. His first doctor was Dr. Klyman, and after…read moreshe retired, he continued with Dr. Henry. We never had issues for many years, but the service over the past couple of years has really declined. It is extremely difficult to get someone on the phone, and voicemails often go unanswered. When you do finally get through, the staff can be very rude and seem irritated when you follow up. I had a similar issue when requesting a sports clearance form. I was told it would take 5 business days, but it took about two weeks. When I finally received it by email, it wasn't stamped, so I had to go into the office to have it done. The receptionist seemed annoyed that she had to take care of it. More recently, I requested my son's immunization records for college housing. I called Monday and Tuesday and left messages with no response. I finally reached someone Friday and was told the records would be emailed that day. They never were. I called again today and was told the same thing, and the person was very rude, telling me I could just come pick them up. I specifically needed them emailed so I could forward them to the college. After being with this office since my son was born, it is very disappointing to see how much the communication and customer service have declined. I'm glad my son no longer needs to go there, and I hope I don't need anything from this office again.

The medical care is exceptional, but the office's billing system and front desk management are so disorganized and dishonest that I can no longer remain silent. I feel it is important to warn other parents about the administrative nightmares I have faced here. In October 2025, I brought both of my children in specifically for flu vaccines. I was explicitly told by the office staff that there would be no copay for flu shots. However, during a follow-up visit on January 8th for my eldest child's fever, the front office nurse suddenly claimed I owed a copay for the October visit. When I questioned this, she admitted the mistake and assured me she would remove the charge. Today, I received separate bills for both children with completely conflicting and nonsensical information: For my eldest: They claim I didn't pay the $25 copay for the January visit. This is false. I paid it on the spot, but they now claim that payment was applied to the October flu shot visit because I supposedly "asked a question" to the doctor, which they coded as a full office visit without any prior notice. For my youngest: They are charging a copay for the October flu shot visit. My youngest ONLY received the vaccine and no medical questions were asked, yet they are still demanding a copay and told me to "call my insurance" instead of fixing their own internal error. It is incredibly frustrating to be told one thing in person and then receive a completely different bill months later. The lack of transparency and the office's refusal to take responsibility for their billing errors is unacceptable. It's a shame that such a high-quality doctor is represented by such a disorganized and unprofessional front office. As much as I like the doctor, I cannot recommend this practice due to these dishonest and stressful billing practices. What hurts the most is that I genuinely wanted to support this local practice. Since I have a PPO insurance plan, I don't need a referral and could have easily gone to a local pharmacy or Costco for these flu vaccines. I chose to pay for parking and drive all the way here specifically to support the doctor's business. To be met with such dishonest billing practices and unprofessional excuses in return is deeply disappointing. I will no longer be going out of my way to support a clinic that treats its loyal patients this way.
