It's makes it impossible to book an appointment with a different pediatrician and I'm sure they're 100% aware of it considering they had a week to notify us about a on the spot payment rather then billing us so we might have an opportunity to be reimbursed. Poor management and front of office situation. Nurses and doctors are great which makes it difficult to wanna leave but ultimately being treated like this will make us go elsewhere. read more

Lately this place has been changing receptionist often. All the old staff were soo friendly and welcoming. The new staff seem to lack knowledge most of the time I call for an appointment the person has to put me on hold after every question I ask. Dr Barbara Lee is the best doctor. She is the primary care pediatrician for both my sons. She is super patient and kind to my kids and everyone. She listens to all our concerns and is very thoughtful in her responses. Dr Lee has a positive attitude every time I see her for appointments- always a pleasure to come in for the babies check ups. Such a great experience for my 5 year old daughter The nurse was very kind checking us in. The Doctor was amazing. She took her time checking my daughter and speaking to her. She asked my daughter if she had any question, which made her feel so special. Really liked the feeli h if speaking to Doctor and not feeli g like I was being rushed out. Also during these days of pandemic they have taken the necessary precautions to avoid having lots a people in waiting room. First time at this office, thinking everything would move swiftly & fast so we can make it to our other apptment to see an Othodondontist Consultation Apptmt so Jenna will be able to get her braces. Nope, bad experience to be here! The Receptionist at the Front desk was not helpful & was very lazy! She had told me that the medical system was down to verify eligibility to be seen here! The other gal, mexican whom was sitting at the front desk sitting next to Sarah told me that I (patient)can try to get a hold of my own medical group because they were not able to get though! These receptionists were lazy-sitting on their ass..just looking at the screen! Yesterday was my sons first time in the office to see Dr Barbara Lee. Staff was very nice and friendly. Medical assistants had great personalities. Dr Lee was very thorough and had a awesome personality and bedside manner. She did a full exam on my son and gave me some recommendations on services I should get for my son. I am so happy I made the switch from his old pediatrician to Dr Lee. I've been wanting to come here for awhile. A lot of my friends bring there children here as well. I love my daughters doctors! It doesn't matter which doctor they see Dr. Liu or Dr. Lee, both doctors are amazing and I know that my daughters are in good hands! Dr. Liu came to the hospital when both of my girls were first born. My oldest is almost 4 and my youngest is 6 months old. I've been bringing my girls here for the past four years since they were newborns. Both Dr. Lee and Dr. Liu are absolutely great! They are both so kind and helpful, and super patient with all my questions as a new parent. Dr. Liu also visited my second one in the hospital when she was first born. The office is very clean and I appreciate never having to wait long for our appointments. I usually go in the mornings and there's usually only one other family waiting. We went once in the evening and it was pretty busy, but I still don't think we waited longer than 15 minutes. I did have an insurance issue once where they made me call the insurance company on my own and put it on speaker phone for them so I understand the frustrations of the previous reviewer. It was upsetting to feel like they didn't even try to help sort things out. Other than that incident, I'd highly recommend this office. Just hope your insurance works out fine. read more

I love the Dr. But the biller Sherri lacked knowledge of deductible and out of pocket . I had my daughter take her sister to her appointment on 12/28/18 and they "Tried" to make her Co pay . I explained to her I've met my out of pocket and deductible long time ago . She said well you paid in February in 2018, I told her duh cause it's the beginning of the year I know I had to pay . It's almost 2019 , I know I've met it . Sherri had the nerve to ask how I knew that ? Well I can pull it up and I work for a medical office and they verify that info online . She asked me what software. At that point I was done with her cause as a biller you should know that and know how to look that up . It's not the patient's responsibility to inform you that . Every other provider can look that up, why can't you pull it up . Well Sherri here is proof since you can't pull it . It's not my responsibility to tell you how to do your job . You're office sent me a refund for my son's co pay - another sign and proof I think I should find another office to take all my kids to too read more

I choose this office because they were the same Dr's that treated my newborn when I delivered at Torrance Memorial. I was assigned Dr. Barbara Lee and she has been my family Dr. to my 3 children ever since (03/2014). I've never had any problems with the office staff. The biller is always polite when she calls me to remind me of a balance and never pushy. The receptionist are pleasant whenever I visit. The wait time is never long and is close to the the time scheduled. I've even called the day off for emergency visits and have never been turned down. I love, love, love this Doctors office!!!! My oldest is 11 years old, I left Kaiser when she was only a few months old and I never looked back. The staff is amazing, from the time you call it's nothing but care and compassion for your little ones. Mary and Stephanie are the best they're always super nice and professional they both always go out of their way to take care of referrals and to get last minute appointments to answer all of crazy paranoid mom questions lol I just love them. Dr. Lee and Dr. Annette Lui have been my childrens Doctors since my oldest. They are the best! They cared for my kids, all 5, as if they were their only patients. I don't go as often only for yearly physicals (my kids are healthy and growing up too fast) but they have been the 2nd and 3rd Moms for my kids. I would recommend them to any new parents and any family's who is looking for great care, knowledgeable, trusting Doctors that TRULY care even when your visit is over. This is a long overdue review. My daughter is 9 now and we've seen mostly Dr. Lee and occasionally Dr. Hwang for a number of years now. The most important factor to us in choosing Pediatricians besides outstanding qualification is their bedside manner and communication. Both of the doctors are genuinely friendly and caring and they seem to be able to connect instantly with my child. At the annual visit, they remember key facts and talks to the child as if the last visit was recent. They explain things in plain English in a respectful manner. The office is located in a beautiful building with easy parking. The wait is never long and front office is pleasant.
