For the past 18 years, she has cared for our children with so much love and compassion. She is more than a pediatrician. She has been a trusted part of our family's journey through childhood, adolescence, and all the milestones in between. It's hard to put into words how grateful I am for the care she has given our family over all these years. There is such a comfort in knowing your children are in the hands of someone you completely trust, and Dr. Nguyen has been that person for us. We have referred everyone we know to her, and we will continue to do so without hesitation. If she is still practicing when the day comes, I sincerely hope my grandchildren will have the privilege of being cared for by her, too. That's how much we trust and value her. We never had issues for many years, but the service over the past couple of years has really declined. It is extremely difficult to get someone on the phone, and voicemails often go unanswered. When you do finally get through, the staff can be very rude and seem irritated when you follow up. I had a similar issue when requesting a sports clearance form. I was told it would take 5 business days, but it took about two weeks. When I finally received it by email, it wasn't stamped, so I had to go into the office to have it done. The receptionist seemed annoyed that she had to take care of it. More recently, I requested my son's immunization records for college housing. I called Monday and Tuesday and left messages with no response. I finally reached someone Friday and was told the records would be emailed that day. They never were. I called again today and was told the same thing, and the person was very rude, telling me I could just come pick them up. I specifically needed them emailed so I could forward them to the college. After being with this office since my son was born, it is very disappointing to see how much the communication and customer service have declined. I'm glad my son no longer needs to go there, and I hope I don't need anything from this office again.

They scheduled us for an appointment later in the week at his clinic to check on baby. Unfortunately, the Insurance department here was very rude and would not listen to me when I was trying to give them information on who to call at the VA for how they should bill the appointment. She was rude, condescending, and did not want to listen to anything I was trying to explain in regards to billing the VA. Unfortunately, it was the worst clinic experience I have ever had. The front desk staff left us feeling unwelcome and not cared for. Dr. FollMar was very caring, thorough and helpful with all our questions and just really great to deal with. It's unfortunate that the front desk staff and insurance billing department ruined that experience for us. Healthcare is about helping and teamwork. With a front-desk staff, a vital part of that TEAM, refusing to listen to the patient is unacceptable. For a first time mom, veteran, and nurse myself- I was utterly disgusted at the way the front desk staff treated a new patient coming into this clinic. I was nervous at first but he definitely made me feel comfortable and seen. As a FTM and choosing to breastfeed, but being an under suppler; he gave suggestions to help boost my supply. Because my baby was underweight, he suggested combo feeding adding formula while I boost my supply to make sure my baby is eating enough. Honestly I was very insecure about being an under suppler and I felt like I was an inadequate mother because I couldn't provide for my baby. But he reassured me and understood how I was feeling and made me feel seen. As someone going through postpartum, he made me feel better about something out of my control. On top of that, he was a wonderful pediatrician to my son. He gave me an ample amount of formula samples and even a diaper bag to help me. He made me feel comfortable about combo feeding while breastfeeding and choosing whether to continue whichever method of feeding for my child. As long as my baby is being fed is the most important thing. Unfortunately the new insurance I got for my son does not cover this office or Dr. Berman, I would've love to have kept him. But I really cannot recommend him enough.

She wanted to make sure we were a good fit, and I truly appreciate that. You can tell she is not trying to just get as many patients as possible and make money. She wants to have a healthy, trusting relationship with the parents and their children. She will not work with everyone, but I find that to be a good thing. She wants to be comfortable with the relationship between doctor and patient, and she wants you to feel the same! After deciding on her on as our pediatrician, Dr. Becker came to the hospital the day after our daughter was born (again, one of the only peds who do this!). To make a sad and long story short, our daughter ended up passing away two weeks after birth. Dr. Becker and her staff sent a card and flowers. It was very touching. When my son was close to being born a year later, we again decided to go with Dr. Becker for our peds. When I called her office, I was shocked and a bit emotional when they remembered me! And my daughter. Anyone who can relate to this type of loss understands what a big deal this is. Dr. Becker again came to the hospital the day after my son was born--this is her common practice, not special treatment! She helped me so much that first year of being a "new mom"--answering questions in person or by phone, always in a very timely manner. I have gotten a same-day response from their office every time. My son had a severe milk and soy allergy, and Dr. Becker helped us team up with an amazing pediatric gastroenterologist. Together they helped us tremendously. I now have my third child, and I confidently went through the process yet again with Dr. Becker. With Covid and everything else going on, I can't tell you enough how important it is to have a pediatrician you trust. With Dr. Becker I have peace of mind. To round out this review, I'd like to mention that the staff is excellent! They are knowledgeable, friendly, on time and organized! My 8 year old son was seen for his yearly physical and just by doing a visual inspection of his body, she had concerns for a potential hernia in his testicle due to a size difference between the two testicle. Sure enough, it was a hernia. She takes all concerns seriously and makes sure she connects us to the right specialist. Because of her, my kids have been seen by a gastrointestinal, an immunologist, burn specialist and an ENT surgeon to name a few.

She didn't have to be rude and say there are more important patients were coming soon. I got to the car honestly sad this happened and began calling other pediatricians. What really stands out to me is that after an unscheduled visit, she always follows up the next day to check on the baby, see how they're doing, and ask if there has been any improvement.
