I dropped my truck off on a Monday, main reason for drop off was service, recall on trailer module and fix the digi-shield on the door. Truck was at dealership 8 days. The person that installs digi shield comes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, both days my truck was there. It did not get replaced then. Only thing was service was completed and trailer module could not program. Bob was off this week and my case was passed off to Carri. She was very communicative, got my issues resolved and did what she could to help get my digi shield fixed. I got my truck back today after being vehicle less. They did help me get a loaner for the weekend, after being without a vehicle for the entire week.

I talked with two other customers in the waiting area and they both had been waiting for over two hours for oil changes; and both, like me, had scheduled an appointment. Even with an appointment my total wait time was 2.5 hours. I immediately had problems and contacted them. They just kept telling me other things I needed to buy. Finally, feeling desperate, I called the manufacturer of the batteries and they told me how to find the date stamp. Turns out, the batteries I was told were "new" were five years old and had no life left in them when I purchased them. I spoke to the owner, Kevin Stillinger, (respectfully giving him the opportunity to "right this wrong") and he refused unless I paid $150 for him to pick up the cart, another $150 to bring it back and then pay for whatever they diagnose the problem to be. I have opened a complaint with the South Carolina Better Business Bureau for unethical business dealings. Palmetto Kustom Kartz saw me as an "easy target" because I am a woman, they lied to me about the batteries, and didn't like that I called the manufacturer to find out the truth. Check engine light was on so we were going to a parts store to have it checked when the battery died. They came and jump started us, then on to the store. Car almost didn't make it. Turns out it needed a battery AND an alternator. They told us that fixing that cleared the check engine light. Okay. End up buying the car. Guess what? They sprayed stop leak in the engine to mask the CRACKED HEAD. Now we are so far into this car we cannot afford to do anything except replace the engine. Nice. These folks smile to your face and lie as hard as they can. Should be criminal what they did, but SC laws don't allow for that. Best I can do is tell my story.
