***BUYER BEWARE*** I purchased a golf cart and specifically asked if the batteries were new. I was told everything on the cart was "re-done" and new. I immediately had problems and contacted them. They just kept telling me other things I needed to buy. Finally, feeling desperate, I called the manufacturer of the batteries and they told me how to find the date stamp. Turns out, the batteries I was told were "new" were five years old and had no life left in them when I purchased them. I spoke to the owner, Kevin Stillinger, (respectfully giving him the opportunity to "right this wrong") and he refused unless I paid $150 for him to pick up the cart, another $150 to bring it back and then pay for whatever they diagnose the problem to be. I have opened a complaint with the South Carolina Better Business Bureau for unethical business dealings. Palmetto Kustom Kartz saw me as an "easy target" because I am a woman, they lied to me about the batteries, and didn't like that I called the manufacturer to find out the truth. This business practices fraudulent dealings and refuses to stand by their employees word. #CORRUPT. read more
