I went with a couple of friends and even they had a problem with the way she was acting. She seemed like she didn't want to be there and we could hear her complaining the entire time we were eating. For a while we were trying to find her so we could order and she disappeared for about 20 minutes. I can understand having a bad day, I myself used to work in the food industry. Once that bad attitude starts affecting your coworkers and your customers then maybe you don't belong in food service. I don't leave reviews often, let alone bad reviews, but i feel like this needs to be addressed with management.

The volunteers are very dedicated and helpful in accepting the donations and distributing them to those in need here in the community. The group is respectful towards those they serve, even referring to them as customers - allowing those in need the dignity they deserve. Donating items is quick, easy and efficient. The volunteers are kind and full of good cheer. ECHO will also advertise the specific items on their billboard so you can see what items are most in need. ECHO can't accept everything but they can recommend other organizations that accept furniture, perishable food or other items for donations. You can feel good that your donated items will go to those who can truly use them.

The Capital Area food bank offers an invaluable service to the area providing food for families in need. With the tough economics times the country finds itself in, it was encouraging to be part of good works. It also brought an awareness of the circumstances that people end up in a blink of an eye. The response I received was that a driver came around 12:49 pm and noted that there was nothing outside. LIES...the driver never showed up, I was home all day. Last time to use their service. I adopted my cat Yuzu a few years ago from this rescue after finding her on petfinder. The…read morevolunteers and foster mom were super responsive and kind! I was able to meet her in person only a few days after reaching out and make my decision to adopt her! The process was super quick but not rushed, easy, and pleasant. Yuzu was healthy and happy and made herself at home with me pretty instantly. They also have a really cute facebook group where other people who adopted from the rescue can post their pets and show off how they are with their new families. Recently, Yuzu had some dental issues that prompted me to reach back out to the rescue for help with. Melissa was super responsive. She responded back from the Facebook page and truly went above and beyond! She was extremely kind and proactive as if Yuzu was her own kitty, prioritizing my voiced concerns and taking things step by step to also prioritize Yuzu's health and happiness! I can't wait for many more years with my fluffy kitty! If you're looking to adopt, the volunteers here are so responsive, kind, and truly love and care for each pet. For example you can get an undershirt brand new from Walmart for 2 dollars, and sometimes they charge 5 dollars for an undershirt here. I've found some awesome antique items here for pennies.
