That level of care and authenticity carries throughout the whole church. Everyone is kind, supportive, and always willing to pray with you or step in to help however they can. Sunday services are consistently excellent. Pastor Jordan keeps things casual and engaging, while staying grounded in teaching Scripture and delivering practical, meaningful lessons from the Bible. Je salue tous dans le nom précieux, digne, chaleureux, sincère, d'amour, de soin et merveilleux de notre Seigneur et Sauveur Jésus-Christ. Donc, voici mon honnête sincère, sincère, chaleureuse et franchement honnête critique de Christian français. Cette église communautaire de mon expérience formelle de six mois est assez intéressante, contradictoire, froide, arrogante, orientée vers les affaires, se sent bien et manque de structure solide au sein du leadership. Permettez-moi d'expliquer au monde avec beaucoup de détails et laissez le monde décider s'ils veulent le prendre ou le laisser et de ce qui se passe là de l'intérieur, surtout avec le fait que je suis un peu dans une extension compliquée. Alors, permettez-moi de commencer par les positifs de cette église et c'est le message évangélique traditionnel du pasteur qui est solide et les groupes de vie sont surtout incroyables du ministère des hommes au ministère des célibataires plus âgés alors que je suis jeune homme célibataire. Cependant, il y a de petits problèmes avec l'église que je n'aime pas et avec qui je suis d'accord, tels que les gens étant très nosy et deux gentillesse face, jamais mains avec le bénévolat et manque de structure dans ce que, très froid et grossier dans leur approche des gens avec qui ils sont en désaccord et socialement maladroit intellectuel introverti. Ils sont pour la plupart de bons chrétiens jusqu'à ce que vous deveniez membre et essayez de faire du bénévolat et si vous leur apportez des idées créatives, ils vous écouteront attentivement mais froidement vous rejetteront dans leur ensemble et puis pire encore, comme une insulte pour vous racontera des histoires sur vous à d'autres derrière votre dos. Imaginez ça, wow ? Impossible, mais c'est comme ça que je me suis senti avec le leadership et en désaccord. Ironiquement, ils essaient de devenir modernes et de se débarrasser complètement des hymnes ou de se fondre dans une fusion bizarre qui ignore complètement le but des hymnes tous ensemble. Ils oublient l'âge de leur église et les nouvelles éclairent car elle a cinquante ans. Ça va seulement vieillir et jamais plus jeune. De plus, la politique de l'église est toujours au sujet du prochain grand projet et de la façon dont nous pouvons l'accomplir. Malheureusement, cette église m'a montré une photo de moi dans le miroir et je me suis sentie plus comme une Église sociale parce que tout le monde parle autour de la zone de café et des tonnes de groupes bibliques sociaux pendant la semaine. Tant de contradictions dans cette église, mais je manquerai quelques-unes des solides connexions que j'ai faites à cette église. Je crains que cette église essaie de devenir la prochaine grande église qu'elle n'a pas besoin de devenir et d'être comme le reste d'entre elles. En outre, leurs vues calvinistes réformées sont cool jusqu'à ce que le petit drame et l'épaule froide qui est venu du chef de culte dont le nom est Mme Monica Blecher, le conseil d'administration dans lequel il y a beaucoup, M. Je crains que cette église ne marche assez étroitement vers l'église baptiste Cherydale, l'église biblique Immanuel et l'église biblique mccléenne qu'elle est un peu différente mais pas beaucoup. Aussi, une dernière chose si je voulais reccomer cette église au monde. Je dirais que c'est un sac mixte car je suis membre et je peux toujours assister de mon choix, ce qui est unique contrairement aux autres que j'ai été aussi. Cependant, le mauvais accueil froid et le manque de structure et la gestion de mauvaise communication forte de la direction qui m'ont forcé à aller de l'avant et regarder ailleurs tout en affaiblissant le monde de mon honnête honnête Chrétien français revue de cette église en effet. The message is delivered with wisdom, inspiration, and love. Sometimes you leave feeling convicted, but never condemned. The children's ministry is full of leaders who love and care for your children's relationship with Jesus. The amount of outreach this church does is insane. My daughter, who has known Christ's love since childhood, joined the campus ministry of Immanuel Bible Church at George Mason University with a sincere desire to grow in her faith. From the beginning, she found joy in the fellowship. A group of Christian students welcomed her warmly, studying Scripture with her, praying with her, and walking alongside her in faith. She often came home glowing, grateful to have found what felt like a spiritual home -- a place where she believed she was accepted as an imperfect but redeemed child of God. For months, she devoted herself to the group. She studied the Word diligently and shared how deeply she appreciated the kindness and encouragement of her peers. To her, they were not simply fellow believers; they were like family. As parents, we felt blessed, believing the ministry was living out Galatians 6:2 -- "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." But one night changed everything. During a testimony-sharing evening -- a moment meant for honesty and unity -- my daughter spoke gratefully of the love and acceptance she believed she had found. She shared how Christ's grace had carried her and how thankful she was for a group that embraced her despite her imperfections. In that moment, she also mentioned that she was transgender, something she assumed was already known or would at least be met with compassion. Her testimony was full of gratitude and faith. Yet instead of receiving Christlike love, she was met with rejection. The youth pastor told her she did not belong, that she should find another group, that she was not welcome there. The very people who had embraced her as a sister in Christ suddenly turned their backs on her. The heartbreak and irony of this are difficult to describe. The same church that preached love, grace, and redemption could not extend those virtues to someone earnestly seeking God. Where was the compassion of Jesus, who dined with outcasts and commanded His followers in John 13:34-35 to love one another as He loved them? Where was the spirit of Matthew 11:28 -- "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest"? What my daughter experienced was not love. It was rejection masked as righteousness -- the painful hypocrisy of preaching grace while practicing exclusion. Christ reached out to the people society deemed unworthy, loving them without conditions. His followers should do the same. Since that night, my daughter's once-bright faith has been shaken. I have watched her question not only the church's love but God's love. She has asked me through tears whether God still cares for her. The pain of that rejection drove her into darkness, leading to self-harm and suicidal thoughts. No child of God should ever be made to feel unworthy of fellowship, especially by those who claim to represent Christ. To the leaders of Immanuel Bible Church and your campus ministry, I speak not from anger but from grief and hope. I do not deny that your church may do much good. I believe many within your congregation sincerely desire to serve the Lord. But in this moment, the church failed to uphold Christ's command to love without condition. Matthew 25:40 reminds us: "Whatever you did for one of the least of these... you did for me." When you turned my daughter away, you turned away one of God's beloved children. My prayer is that your church -- and all churches -- would reflect on the heart of the Gospel: grace, mercy, compassion, and unconditional love. Do not discard those who do not fit the mold you expect. Be a refuge for the hurting, not a source of their pain. Christ's church is meant to be a hospital for the broken, a haven for the lost, a home for all who seek Him. I pray that no other young believer experiences what my daughter endured -- being told she is unworthy when Christ Himself has already called her worthy. In the end, God's grace is greater than human judgment. Psalm 34:18 promises, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." I hold tightly to that promise for my daughter, and I pray that the church will someday truly reflect the love Christ freely gives to all.

It only took two services for me to realize this is where I need to be…read more The praise and worship is moving, the word always seems to be on point, they have a mix of younger with the older and families, are actively involved in a global and community way, and have various groups and events for you to get involved in. I always feel warmly welcomed when I come, and the Pastors always make time to speak with members after service. Having 3 different services is a plus too, and I haven't had any issues finding parking on the street. There's free coffee and snake before and after service, and an overflow area outside the sanctuary for watching services as well. Next Saturday is their Do Good Global Meal Pack, where we'll be packing 275,000 to send to children in the Dominican Republic along with Kids Around the World.
