Great communication regarding appointments, and they are really able to accommodate your needs. I was recommended to come here by a family member after my previous dentist office closed, and I scheduled an appointment for about a month out with ease. A week after initially reaching out, I ended up chipping a tooth and left a message, and they saw me the next business day. The building the office is in is very clean and accessible. While I was there, they asked if I wanted to be seen sooner for my other scheduled appointments. They ended up having openings the next two days for me to come in for an exam and a cleaning, and they are very thorough here. A small, pleasant waiting room makes you feel comfortable. Great dental plan if you do not have dental insurance. I recommend Dicus Family Dentistry as everyone is pleasant to be around and knows what they're doing. read more

I miss these guys a lot! I have been seeing Dr. Dicus since I was a kid and always received quality care and felt comfortable. I grew up overseas and they don't give kids anesthetics so I was pretty traumatized in general going to the dentist when I moved back. He doesn't try to upsell like a lot of dentists do, and he's very conservative in his approach. His staff is also exceptional, professional, and very welcoming. I've been going to Dr Dicus by recommendation of a coworker and could not have been happier. They make the entire dental experience easy and not so stressful. I've had some pretty bad dental experiences before but with Dr Dicus it's different. He's compassionate and caring. He is always up front and I've never had a bad experience. His staff is.. well pretty much amazing. Sonia in particular is a god send and I can't thank her enough for helping me with the costs to get my dental procedures done and paid for. I had enough to stress about with the procedures but she makes the payment part a breeze. The entire staff and Dr Dicus is simply amazing. I can't thank my lucky stars enough for guiding me here. Absolutely amazing dentist and incredibly office and support staff. I recently needed to switch dentists and on a referral from a friend I went to Dr. Dicus at Dicus Family Dentistry. After having basically nothing but negative experiences with dentists all my life, where I was essentially hesitant to go, and hated being lectured when I get a cleaning etc. the experience I have had with Dr. Dicus has completely changed my perspective on dentistry. I absolutely love Dr Dicus and everyone that works here!! I came in after not being to the dentist in years and I was very scared of seeing a dentist and they made me so comfortable and after getting to know everyone so well(because I needed extensive work done) they were always welcoming and friendly. Honestly, I could not be happier with my treatment here over the years. Certainly, the dentist's skill in doing his/her work is of utmost importance,but having a great front and back office staff, as Dr Dicus does, is extremely important to the overall patient experience. I had the most horrific experience with Michael Dicus. Normally I never write a review, but I have to share this. By his age and mature way of talking, I assumed he was a very experienced dentist. Turned out that he became a dentist just several years ago in 2012 or so when he was in his mid-30s. I had no idea about his inexperience and incompetence when he confidently explained that he could fix the issue I had with my teeth. When he made it worse I asked him to fix it. What he said was, "I can't help you." He also said, "well, everyone has to pay bills," meaning I would have to pay more or he would not want to waste his time fixing his own mistake. I was not willing to pay more to someone who did a terrible job drilling my teeth. Now I am with a new dentist and I will need thousands of dollars to fix what he caused. Dr. Dicus, I was your patient and victim. I trusted you when I was opening my mouth in your chair. Now every time when my teeth hurt, I wish I never walked into your office and met you. You made my life miserably painful. I hope you won't make another patient feel this way. My sincere request. read more
