Super nice hygienist, quick, painless. Dr is very friendly. Everyone is pleasant. The reception area has fancy pants leather chairs (nicer than plastic gross chairs lots of offices opt for). read more

The front office staff, hygienist and Doctors are all kind, patient, attentive and clinically competent. My dad was a periodontal who knew Dr. Wager very well. After college, I moved to Reno and my dad told me not to go to anyone else but Dr. Wager. And I loved him. I wa apprehensive when he retired, but Dr. Evans has filled his shoes well and introduced new areas of the practice. I LOVE the dental concierge/membership. It has saved me hundreds of dollars a year. Well done team! Laura Furumoto - patient since 1991. read more

The check in was quick and easy. Staff very pleasant. The wait time was minimal. The Dental assistant, Christine, was very pleasant and efficient. As it was my first visit to this office, mouth scans and x-rays were taken. Wait time for the dr to come in was long. He was very good at explaining my scans and what I needed done. I would give this office a 4.5 star rating. read more

Dr. Evans is a very nice and professional dentist. He is honest with his patients. His staff are very nice and friendly. His office is working efficiently and accurately. I highly recommend Dr. Evans. Also for my wife's implant tooth which was broken few months ago. We went to several dentist and they have no idea how to fix it. On our first visit, Dr. Evans extracted the broken post and started working on it. Amazing doctor. read more

I guess my firm belief that things happen for a reason is how I found this dental office! Unfortunately, my tooth that had a small fracture, broke off. We established ourselves with a good dentist back in July (our third dentist office)! However, that dentist decided to retire and we didn't find out until the day before she was going to put a temporary crown....and then she left me with the new dentist that purchased her office.( which I never met or knew anything about). I started to frantically call around and luckily I found Wager Evans. I had my new patient exam Wednesday, (the staff and Dr. were very attentive and sensitive to my situation), and luckily, I was able to get the temporary crown the next day!!! Thank you for the attentiveness and show of experience. Of course I'll be back when my crown arrives! read more

Wager Evans Dental - Cosmetic Dentists Near Me - Reno, Nevada

Dr. Wager is a fantastic dentist. He retired and Dr. Evans took over. I do not recommend Dr. Evans. He is too busy and is all over the place and seems like he rushes a lot. read more

Was not pleased at all with Dr. Evans. Went in a year and a half ago for my first visit, did the normal routine, set of X-rays etc. Felt very rushed by Dr. Evans. about six months later my tooth started to hurt so I went in and we were looking at my X-rays and they had forgotten to take an X-ray of that tooth. They got X-rays of all of the others but not that one. Come to find out I needed a root cannal on that tooth. I was not pleased at all. 1. They missed the x-ray and; 2. We could have advoided a root canal to a cavity. The two time I've been in to see Dr. Evans he is rushing, talking a mile a minute and seems very high strung... you can feel it. Rushes a lot and it makes you think if he's really understanding what you're saying the issue is. Also, I had my teeth cleaned and she did a fantastic job. Dr. Evans came in at the end to check her work and yet again he was rushing, talking way too fast and it was just horrible. I will be finding a new dentist. read more

Always a good experience but very impressed today especially. I forgot to take my pre-meds before my cleaning and they were so conscientious about safety they declined my cleaning but sent me home to take my meds and got me back in the very same day! read more

Moved here last year and (eventually) decided to find a new dentist. I found them online and didn't know anything more about the practice. From the minute I walked in and Kancha greeted me, I knew I was in the right place. Easy process to get all the forms filled out then Cindy took me through all that I'd needed to do as a new patient. It was a lot but Cindy explained everything and made it all work smoothly. I met Dr. Evans and had a thorough and fully explained exam. He asked lots of questions and was genuinely concerned about my well-being. So pleasant and very professional. Then off to Gretchen for my cleaning. And here too, the same thing. Everything explained, all questions answered, sound professional advice given - can't ask for more than that. All in all, the best dental experience I've ever had! read more

Dr. Evans is a great dentist! He is friendly, patient and funny too. He wants to make sure that your experience in his office are the beat they can be. I have been going there for years. I think it is important to note as well That his staff seem happy and he shows respect to them which is something that seems to be lacking in many dentist's offices. read more

Changing my review to recommended. I was satisfied at the end of the process. Added extra missing tooth and now will suggest to others.

Had a great appointment for my checkup. All covid precautions in place and the same great care I always get. Very happy

Friendly, professional and attentive staff. Dr. Evans embraces innovative technology which compliments his thoughtful chair side manor.

I am a retired hygienist and new to the area. My husband and I met Dr Evans and his family at a social event. We have been returning to Santa Rosa to see our dental team there. When I had a tooth injury I called the office to have Dr Evans check it out with an X-ray and exam. I was offered an appointment right away and seen promptly. Everyone from the front office to the back was very welcoming and professional. Dr Evans gave me his opinion with options to "wait and see" to more advanced treatment. He spent more time than I expected since I knew he already had a busy schedule today. He even took time to discuss a dental problem my husband was experiencing. I really appreciated the care and concern I received. We will be returning and making this office our dental "home base". Thank you Dr Evans and staff read more

Excellent.........friendly, efficient, caring, describes every procedure. Highly recommend.

Not happy with the way things turned out.had to replace a bridge and experienced pain for several weeks after procedure.. but can't afford to anything more as the the billing was not accurate(correct) and I still have jaw pain from time to time. Office was professional, but my experience turned out be a negative one and don't think I will be returning read more

Best Dental Office around! Been a patient for over 30+ years. My adult children are patients and have been since they were teenagers.

Normally, I only leave positive reviews but I feel like it's important to share valuable information when a business is being deceptive. Years ago, I followed my amazing hygienist to this office. She was wonderful and I don't need anything but a regular cleaning so it didn't really matter to me who the dentist was. He only takes a peek at the end anyways. I had my regular cleanings a few times, just what my insurance covered, nothing else. Upon arrival to my last appointment, they had switched me to a different hygienist with no notification. No big deal.. or so I thought. I told her I just wanted my regular cleaning that the insurance covered. It should be exactly the same as all my other appointments. They took X-rays, which I didn't need (they were done recently), with a fancy new machine which was an additional charge and not covered by insurance. They did not inform me of this or allow me to deny the upgrade. At the end of the appointment, I was informed of the amount and reasonably confused since all previous appointments had been 100% covered. I brought my concerns to the attention of the front desk staff as the hygienist and dentist hid in the back. I was told "not to worry about it" and that it was going to be "taken care of." A month or so later my mother had an appointment so I had her check on my account. It, in fact, had not been taken care of and they were going to send me to collections. We settled the bill. Since then, my mother has had more "additional fees" added to her regular cleanings. For example, the oral cancer check, that had always been included, is not covered and they do not inform the patients of the charges that are no longer included or covered by their insurance. Patients beware. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Evans for years now and this office is fantastic. I've seen numerous hygienists and all of them have been great. So my spouse and I have been going to this office for quite a while. My spouse and I have only seen them for routine cleanings and x-rays since we both take great care of our teeth. Initially, we were impressed by the care we received. Over the past couple years, their office has been pressuring us to purchase the 'latest and greatest' equipment. We feel as if every visit is a sales pitch. We have also asked them not to apply their fluoride varnish on our teeth during our cleanings because it's not covered under our insurance. After every visit, we get a bill for the fluoride varnish we asked them not to do. One of their female hygienist is quite rough and leaves both my spouse's and my mouth and usually sore after our routine cleaning. Another one of their hygienists quit which makes scheduling a cleaning more difficult. We've been going to this office for years and have been very dedicated. Our loyalty hasn't payed off since getting an appointment is more difficult than it used to be and they charge us for things we ask them specifically not to do. In conclusion, I believe their office has become dishonest. Honesty and trust are crucial especially with medical/dental concerns. When told that I was considering another dentist's office, the receptionist said that was 'my prerogative' and hung up on me. So with that, it's time to move on and find a trustworthy dental office worth our time and money. read more

I think we can all agree that the dentist is always a daunting experience, even for the simplest of procedures. Yet every time I walk into Dr. Evans' practice, the staff are welcoming, efficient and set everyone at ease. The technical proficiency of the team here has done wonders for my 'challenging' mouthful of English teeth. I can't promise a painless experience, but I can assure you that the end result will be awesome. read more
