I live in Gold Bar and called the Monroe shop to tow my car to Sultan mechanic. They were willing to tow until they found out it was roadside assistance. Then I was informed that they only tow in Everett and Stanwood? When I asked to speak to someone about I wasn't allowed and then the story changed that out of their advertised 80 tow rigs, not one was available for a tow. In addition they state they have never shut down operations? Bull! They did during our Snowmageddan storm we had! I was a dummy and locked my keys in my car at the Everett Mall on November 7th in the evening. Called AAA and they said someone would be between an hour or two. I was like dang, I think I could get someone here by then. Ten minutes after the call (it was 6:30) I got a text from AAA saying that Dick's Towing would be there before 6:50. Nice! I only had to wait another 20 minutes. I was waiting by the Party City entrance and decided I should probably stand outside around 6:40 ish and they had a little van type vehicle with flashing lights driving up and down the rows. I appreciated the flashy lights as it made it much easier to spot the van in the dark. When I waved/walked up to the van the guy inside was just calling me. He was friendly and professional and didn't make me feel like the total idiot I was for locking my keys in my car, he just light heartedly commented that alot of people were locking their keys in their car. I pointed out where my car was and he very politely had me sign a damage waiver for unlocking my car, which I totally understand. He unlocked my car in a pinch, and we were all done a minute or two before the "arive by time". Pain free! read more

My car broke down in Marysville, WA and I had to get it towed back to Seattle...Dicks was called by insurance company and informed that within the hour a driver would transport my car. I received a call on my cell phone within 20 minutes to get my exact location the dispatch person said the driver would call when she was 5 minutes away...BOOM, 5 minutes away she called, pulled up and took my car promptly and courteously. I helped push my car since my Xterra needed to go onto the flatbed. This business rocks and since I work up in Marysville, and Dick's Towing is literally the next town over, if I can recommend a towing company to anyone that needs a tow from this area to anywhere, I'll definitely look up Dick's Towing on my phone for any person who requires emergency road service. read more

I was placed on hold in the middle of a brief introduction of why I was calling and once she resumed our connection she asked in an annoyed and frustrated tone for me to continue what I was saying and then in the middle of explaining myself the second time she cut me off again and said she was going to transfer me but hung up on me instead. After I called AAA and they sent out dicks towing to pull me out, the cops left me on the side of the road in a really bad place on the highway and I was so upset and scared. So a friend's of mine got his car towed on a Friday night and my girlfriend and Iget dropped off here at 9pm to get his vehicle. We show up and knock on the locked door and this big gal in a floral pink top yells at up through the window to 'sit tight I can't let you in until the driver get here'. Its 40 degrees out and your gonna let us stand out here for almost two hours?! Horrible person with no respect for other people. I can't believe I had to pay extra for weekend pickup and waited for so long. This lady was so ride I hope I never see her again. Please hire better front desk staff and closer on call drivers. My 36' Class A motorhome was dead in my driveway. I called AAA and the yaya that came out couldn't tow it out. I was kind of desperate, as my husband is ill and we are closing the sale of our house in 2 days. Motorhome must be gone in 48 hours, and AAA is telling me it can't be done. AAA then sends out Robert and Tony from Dick's. These guys had to dig a hole to get underneath the RV. They had to try to jump it to get leveling jacks up, and then drag it out into the cul de sac, jockey it around, and pull it out from the other end. Towed it out of cul de sac, then raised it, put the tow bar (whatever you call it) under, dropped out the drive train (?) then towed it from Kenmore to Pacific. They did a fabulous job, did it with impeccable service, good humor and kindness. I cannot recommend them any higher. You can't go wrong with Dick's. Call them. read more

RESCUED With Extra Help!!!! I was driving my husband's truck down into Seattle to deliver important product to his job site when his beloved F150 was sideswiped by a brand new Ram 2500. The yahoo behind the wheel sheared off the driver side mirror rendering the truck unsafe to drive. It has a canopy, so the side mirror is essential for safe operation. Rather than taking it to their storage lot, we arranged for my husband to meet the tow truck with me riding shotgun at their office on Paine Avenue where the driver and his assistant helped us move the product (refinished kitchen cabinet doors) to my husband's work van and put some equipment he didn't need that day in the back of his truck. Thank you to Dick's towing for the rescue and going beyond the call of duty. My husband got his job done in spite of the intoxicated yahoo that damaged his truck. They were responsible for toeing my truck to a motor shop to have a motor put in. Truck rolled straight through a chain linked fence, off a cliff and into a dumpster while it was in their hands. I know this sounds like some stupid joke buy it assure you it's not. Anyways, mistakes happen right? Nobody is perfect, however, when an accident happens while the vehicle is under their control they should have handled it. The toe truck driver said they aren't responsible and then asked "well do you want me to tow it or not" while it's still hanging off the 8ft cliff. Very dissapointed. I never got to the towing part. I called the Road Service number on Safeco Insurance. They said they would have someone within an hour and they would call and get details. When I called after 20 min. some rude woman told me not only did she have no idea of when they would get there but she seriously doubted it would be within an hour from the time of my phone call. Wasn't impressed with the service I got from this company. First of all I had a tire blew out and I almost got in a huge accident on the freeway so I was already freaked out and secondly I had to wait almost 3 hours for the truck to arrive. Then when he did arrive he drove right past me on the freeway then had circle back on the freeway again to my car. When he arrived he asked me if we had a spare tire and if so he would put it on for me so I can drive it to the nearest tire center. I told him no I didn't have one and I just want to my car to be towed to the nearest tire center but he was being persistent and kept asking me about driving it with the spare tire but I told him I didn't have one. It was almost like he really didn't want to deal with me at all I was a customer. I just really didn't want to drive the car right now because of the Trumatic experience I just went through. Finally he gave in and towed it to the tire center. Why would you fight the customer we the customer doesn't even care about how much it is to get the car towed even though my insurance covered it all? read more

Don't call them on a weekend, or if it is dark, or if you made the mistake of sounding a little desperate. Unfortunately, I did all of the above and my 28 mile tow should have cost $190 at their normal rate skyrocketed to $500 which I have seen others quote as Dicks "gotcha" rate. A $300 rip-off! My Ford E350 easily fit on their tilt-bed truck but their dispatch will find a way to claim your vehicle now falls into their "special category" which they use as a phony excuse. They did a good job of towing, and an excellent job of "picking my pocket". Yes, they advised me in advance (that they were going to rip me off by charging $500) but my truck would not start and I needed to get it to a mechanic. If you are ever in the desert, dying of thirst, and you see something circling overhead, don't panic, it's not a buzzard. It is a Dick's drone swooping down to offer you a bottle of water for $500... their going rate apparently for emergency situations. read more

I had a very unfortunate experience of my nanny locking my 21 month old son in her car. Between myself, my husband and 911, 3 tow truck were dispatched. Dick's driver Greg was the first on the scene and quickly got my son out of the car. As the next 2 trucks arrived they both charged me a cancellation fee. Greg immediately got on his cell phone and returned to say that Dick's Towing didn't agree with the practices of the other two companies and they were not going to charge me. In a situation like that I would have paid anyone and everyone just to get him out quickly. They definitely did not have to do that as they were the ones that in fact did the work. Thank you Dick's Towing for making my horrible day just a little better by knowing there are people out there who truly care. I also had my trucked towed by them and they destroyed the I side trying to remove my stereo system it's was a very expensive stereo system the speakers were module and the deck would open up and you could remove part of it called a blackbird and it was a portable navigation system and when it got towed by me it was 8n perfect condition and the next morning I went to look at the damage cause it happened at night my dash was destroyed by them trying to remove 8t cause I sure didn't do it 8t was fine when I had it towed and it was only about 6 hours later when 8 went and looked at it and they tried telling me it was brought in as a stolen vehicle ha not I was the owner and I am the 9ne who had it towed so if that is true the driver just thought o well it was stolen so the owner won't know what was all done to it but that was not the case I called the tow in and 0aid cash I have the receipt so they are shady people that's for sure.thiefs and they just get away with it it's bullshit you have to give at least one star for it to 0ost cause trust me I would give negative 100 if I could I will never do business with them ever and i tell everyone about them also read more

Second time I have used them in the last 15 months. Prompt and drivers are courteous and I think their charges are reasonable.

We had an incident where our truck was broken down (broken drive shaft). We were 200+ miles from our home. Dick's came recommended to us by our hometown Dodge dealer after AA wouldn't help us. We couldn't have been more pleased by the service we received from our driver. He was a nice young man, who was friendly and knowledgeable. We had to ride with him in his truck for the 200-mile tow.
