Plenty of great things always in stock. Last time I was there the guy didn't give me my 50% off that's my only complaint.

I expected I would have to pay for shipping but didn't expect them to say no when it is a simple request and would assume they have equipment to qui make one but I guess after seeing their reviews, I understand why. I will find a complany elsewhere that will help me and willing to take my money, unlike this one. My kids coaches for sports has used many other companies when we lived in another state and they were always willing to assist their customers. If you need a company to work with for sports attire, don't use this one. They don't care about their customers!

I was in this location just this week on 8/3. I was in need of new running shoes. I usually go to a store that focuses on running but had heard Famous Footwear carries Asics and was willing to check it out since I had taken the time and had found a coupon and also a rebate from the Ibotta app. I went into the store with my husband and was greeted by the only employee who was stocking and told there was a buy 1 get 1 half off sale going on. I went right to runners and my husband headed to the men's area for a few minutes. I picked 2 pairs to try on, which turned into a 3rd and then my husband had come over by me not impressed with the selection in the men's department. My husband picked 2 more shoes he thought would work for me that were Nike's, I have a wide foot and don't usually like Nike's because they are too narrow. Anyways, in about 45 minutes the employee never helped me once but I was able to find a pair of shoes I was happy to buy. I also picked a pair of shoes for our daughter so I could take advantage of the buy 1 get 1 half off. I brought my selections to the register (over $100 with BOGO) where the situation escalated rather quickly. The employee rang up the shoes and asked my name and phone number. I provided the info and realized he was trying to see if I had some type of discount membership or something (he didn't explain but most stores have these so it seemed obvious). I told him if I had anything it wouldn't be under that name since I'd gotten married and hadn't been in a Famous Footwear in a long time. He tried my previous last name and asked if I went by some other first name and when I said no he gave up. Most store employees will ask if there is a different phone number. But whatever I thought, no big deal. I'd taken a screenshot of the coupon I found the day before because I was having some phone issues and didn't want to have a problem pull it up in the store. I showed him the coupon and was informed for the 1st time he was the general manager and there were no coupons out at that time. I showed him my phone and said "oh because I found this." He took 1 look at it for a second and said "that's for Vans only" he tried moving the screen around and I explained it was a photo but I could try to pull up the actual coupon. He again said it was for Vans and he was (2nd time) the general manager. I read the coupon myself and explained it didn't even say Van's on the coupon. He said "you're calling me a liar"so I explained I was not calling him one and the word liar is something he said not me. My husband started to say something but stopped because I was pulling the coupon up at that point but the employee was saying he didn't want to waste my time. My time? I just spent 45 minutes in your store with no help. I looked for the coupon yesterday. All I'm asking is if he could take the bar code scanner and scan the coupon to see if it works which he had not once tried and never did. While trying to pull up the coupon on my phone and being told he didn't want to waste my time I told him it was no bother and he again said "I'm the general manager (3rd time) and trust me the coupon is not valid." -- ok but why won't you just scan it to show me? What is the harm? I don't understand why I'm being denied to just scan the coupon if it works it works if it doesn't it doesn't. Done. And I would make my purchase and go. The coupon comes up on the app and I show him it expires 8/3 which is that day so it should be valid. He took my phone and typed something in on his computer and then forcefully yanked his computer screen toward me to show me it wouldn't work. I have no idea what he typed. He was being defensive from the second I tried to started the transaction. I did nothing to deserve to be treated the way I was so I explained I had been a retail manager for many years and how he was treated me was unprofessional. I said I was no longer going to be buying the shoes and I turned to leave and walk out of the store. My husband in shock to how this escalated walked out with me. The employee FOLLOWED me to leave saying things about how I was wrong and not to come back into his store. As I was opening the door to walk out I turned and said I'm leaving you don't need to follow me and he said "you're threatening me you need to leave." What?! How is that even possible? What did I do in this situation that somehow threatened him? How does someone walk around in society treating people the way he treated me and have the nerve to say I was threatening him. I had 1 foot on the concrete outside the door. I was leaving. I would never want to be back in that store. And if it were not for my husband being there, albeit in shock, I would never want to be alone around that guy. I have called their corporate office.
