I was given a $100 gift card to this place . they had NOTHING i wanted / needed . I brought my son into this store to get football cleats , the girl that works in the shoe department , totally acted like we were bothering her, considering we were all the only customers in there, she was very rude, not friendly what so ever. She scanned one cleat and said sorry we don't have your sons clear size anywhere . Which was total BS , because I found his size in Hadley ! Won't be back if she is there. read more

Very horrible customer service from the manager. I didn't catch her name because but I believed it started with a C. Situation I purchased an item on May 3 with a warranty I was told if I didn't like the items I can receive my refund for the item and the warranty I have my receipt. today is May 8 I didn't like the item which was a 300.00 dollar purchase I received my refund for the item not the warranty which was 60 dollars. The issue is that the manager did not want to speak to me or even come to the front to address the issue. Very unprofessional. read more

This may not be fair to this store, but since curbside pickup was not available on the item I wanted it is getting my review. I made the decision to purchase an expensive piece of equipment using a 1 day 20% off coupon and the ability to finance my order and spread the payments over 12 months if I signed up for the ScoreRewards MasterCard. Both offers made spending the large amount of money attractive and possible for me to make such a large purchase. Signed up for the MasterCard and attempted to make my purchase. I met with an error message. In a chat the agent they told me that it may be an issue with my browser and to try and refresh or use another browser. I tried and that did not work. In another chat they said that there was nothing that I could do, and I should reach out to the credit card provider. I contacted the provider and they told me there was nothing that they could do, and this could not be used for online purchases. In my 3rd chat of the night trying to make my purchase and I was told to call customer service in the morning and there was nothing they could do. When calling customer service, we still came to the same result that I would not be able to use the credit card I just signed up for and would have to wait for the physical card to arrive to make my purchase. The agent made a counteroffer which was if I was to pay over the phone with an alternate method that he could issue double the points on my purchase. I didn't want to do that because I just signed up for a credit card that I wanted to use and not put the cash out of my pocket, so I declined the offer. After thinking about it more, on the same day, I decided to move forward as I didn't want to have to wait who knows how long for the credit card to arrive (still have not gotten it after 1 week) and then shipping time, etc... I called back customer service, gave them my info and the order number and reference the previous discussion where I would get double points. The representative looked up the conversation and agreed to issue double points and processed the order. I was told the points would take approximately 24-48 hours to appear on my account. After waiting for 3 days (over 72 hours) I still did not receive the points from my purchase as I was told. Another chat where I went through the whole explanation again and the agent told me they would email out the agreed upon number of points and it would take another 24-48 hours to appear on my account. I expressed my frustration with the process and delay and my need for follow up, but the agent didn't seem to care. After 36 hours points were issued, however it was less than half of what they should have been. Another chat where I had to explain everything. Again, I was told that they would email someone, it would take 24-48 hours. I told them was totally unacceptable and that I wanted the points applied right now or I would cancel my order which was due to be delivered the following day. The agent told me that they could not apply them right then and there and as far as cancelling that I couldn't cancel the order even if I wanted to because they only allow cancellations 30 minutes after purchase. I explained my experience and time wasted and the agent did not care at all. I asked for a manager and went through everything all over again and even at the manager level got no additional assistance other than what was already promised. My delivery is coming tomorrow and I hope that it is in good shape and I don't have the need to contact any customer service agent's at Dick's for help because they have been beyond useless and unhelpful up until this point. Also I don't know if I will ever see the points that I was promised which was the reason I spent the money out of my pocket instead of waiting for the credit card I applied for which I wasn't able to use right away. And I'm really hoping that someone at customer service sees this, reviews their processes and does the right thing. As of this point other than using the rewards points as dollars, if I ever get them. I will not be shopping at Dick's Sporting Goods ever again. read more

Prices can be high selection can be varying comes to fishing gear Depending on the store and I've been multiple of them some stores have a good fishing selection and some stores probably shouldn't have a fishing selection at all if they're not gonna stock anything some stores need to be cleaned up in terms the isles fishing gear swinging all over the place on the ground like it hasn't been attended to from customers pillaging through gear and some stores are pretty well organized read more

This is my first retail store review which I'm only logging because this place was over-the-top NASTY.... clothes and merchandise on the floor, shoes racks in total disarray, garbage in the isles. My kid found a broken mannequin lying on the floor - looked like a dead person wearing new sneakers. When I informed the kid- cashier he responded with, "yea, it's been like this all summer." If corporate saw this place, someone would be out of a job.... not the kind of place where I want to spend my $$$. I don't understand how a sporting goods store can be this useless. I went here for endurance drink mixes and was directed to a rack of gatorade. I went here for golf equipment from a major OEM and was told to look at one of their alternative brands. The sad thing? The store is full of people unknowingly buying overpriced crap. No one working there seems to have any clue. I can't blame them for not caring. Large sporting goods stores used to at least be helpful by providing lower prices on reasonably high quality gear. Now they just buy up brands with a consumer following and use them to sell their own cheap crap from China. read more

Absolutely awful first experience buying something from Dick's. Do not shop here - and especially do not trust them with a large purchase. I ordered a treadmill that arrived broken. Returns and exchanges have been the absolute hugest hassle, I've gone back and forth with the team 6 times so far and I'm still waiting for someone to schedule a pickup for the broken treadmill. Terrible customer service, products that arrive broken, ridiculous return policies - it's really just not worth it. Shop somewhere else - I wish I had! read more

I haven't seen the store a mess as others report, but anytime I go there - not just this location but any of the chain's stores - they don't have what I want. Today it was neck gaiters, which they only had in children's sizes. Other times it has been athletic shoes in my size. Prices are also high. I did find the neck gaiters at Home Depot if anyone else is looking for them now due to the pandemic. read more

Stood in the back of the store where the shoes were and waited around 20 minutes just for an employee to approach me and ask what shoes I wanted to see and in which sizes. I had to ask repeatedly at the front desk for them to send someone to the shoe department and it still took them 20 minutes plus. Terrible business model to not even attempt to be friendly to your customers let alone help them find a shoe in a size 12 which I already knew I was going to buy. Thought about buying a new pair of running sneakers but made the decision not to because I knew it would take the store clerks another 20 minutes to figure that one out. Horrible experience. I stopped into Dicks today as my sons needed things for soccer, my boys are 6, 9, and 13, all i can say is for a sporting good store your selection was horrible, this store seems to care mainly for baseball which my kids also play. The selection for my younger boys was slim to none, except for soccer balls, but shin guards,socks, and cleats were non existent, my older son wasn't impressed at all, so needless to say we left with nothing and drove to a different dicks who's store had all sports aisle filled to the max, i won't waste my time at the leominster store again. read more

Very useless this person girl on sunday working on the shoes dept., she don't know what's doing, i ask for 8 differents shoes on number 8 1/2 or 9 for women or 7 for men and she just say "we don't have it". They should have the merchandise in front so we customers no have to deal with useless girls. read more

besides being pricey, i like most of the store. but the shoe part of it is awful. i play field hockey on turf and i need turf shoes. specifically soccer turf shoes. they had softball turf shoes but i can't use those for field hockey. we asked the one worker who was available and he didn't even know so he had to ask someone else. i needed womens turf shoes in an 8. and all they had were mens and they only had 1 pair. now i need to get my turf shoes ONLINE and just hope for the best that they fit. read more

Went here to buy sneakers on a Saturday, late morning. The shoe section was a complete madhouse and only one, maybe 2 people were working. Stood there with the shoes I needed sizes for for over FIFTEEN minutes and wasn't even close to being helped. Where was the manager? not helping the dozens of people wanting to buy their overpriced shoes. I Left and went elsewhere. Horrible place. There is never anyone to help you and the staff is completely useless. You're better off asking a nearby random stranger for advice. I bought sweatpants a few hours ago that were on a medium hanger in the medium section but when I got home they were actually extra small. So frustrating! I purchased skates here today. There was no sales staff on hand with any knowledge whatsoever of the products, nowhere to sit while trying on the skates, and the sharpening machine was broken. There are plenty of other options in the area. Go out of your way to use them. read more
