Next thing I know the computers go down and I'm told I have to come back at a later date. So even with an in kind exchange, the manager could not process this and punch a key when the computer comes back online? Gas, time, and money be damned.......I love their products and have spent thousands on them over the years. Come on guys, really? You're selling to Leos, First Responders, and Military. Get some competent people to deal with other competent people that spend their money on high priced items. Atleast a good manager that can make a management call. I will not be going back to this store.

We go upstairs to purchase said service and we were immediately bum rushed out of nowhere and nearly had the glove ripped out of my hands by an older employee, mind you he never introduced himself or ask if we needed help. We walk to the register and we are "met" by MOD Thea. She was very unprofessional about the service we were there to have done. This was the second $400 glove I've brought here to have work done and I never will again bc of this interaction. The interaction with staff was so unwarranted that my 10 year old son who was with me mentioned that he got startled when they ripped the glove from me. Do better Dicks... Terrible Inventory and Customer Service - Lost a Customer for Good…read more I placed two separate orders with Academy - one for home delivery and one for curbside pickup. Both orders showed items in stock and were marked as preparing for shipment/pickup. Shortly after, both were canceled because the items were supposedly out of stock. To make things worse, I had to deal with terrible customer service. No real help, no clear answers - just frustration. Now I'm stuck waiting for two separate payment holds to be processed so I can get my money back, all because of their mistake and poor inventory system. This entire experience was an inconvenience from start to finish. Academy has lost me as a customer, and I'll be telling my family to avoid shopping here as well.
