Two meat platter (kielbasa and brisket) with slaw and mac and cheese.
    Valerie S.

I was pleased with the two meat meal that I got at Dickey's. The kielbasa was really good and the brisket was good too - I tried the regular and sweet BBQ sauces and both were good, but the sweet was my favorite. The slaw was fresh and tasty but the mac and cheese was kinda blah - could definitely use some work, like maybe some freshly melted cheddar on top or something. My meal came with a hot roll which was also good. BBQ is known to be pretty expensive and I didn't feel that Dickey's was any more expensive than anywhere else. I felt like I got my husband's money's worth. The service was just fine and the servers were pleasant. I do think they could use an "Order Here" sign at the counter where you're supposed to order so the workers don't have to keep telling people that. It also doesn't bother me that it's a chain - we recently had BBQ at a roadside joint nearby and it wasn't anything at all to write home about. If I had to choose, I would go to Dickey's again over that place any day.

I got The chopped brisket sandwich, and a quarter pound of brisket to take home to my boyfriend for him to try. Everything totaled $19, and considering the sandwich didn't come with any sides I felt like $11 was a little pricey. The meat was tender, could have had more flavor. I got the spicy barbecue and you can see from the pictures the red pepper flakes popping out of the sauce. It actually wasn't that spicy & I felt like I had to pour a lot on in order to even taste the sauce. I'll probably be back just to try some of their other items on the menu, but if you're looking for filling barbecue there are probably other places in the area you could try instead.

Thursday's lunch special. Brisket, cheddar jalapeno kielbasa, mac and cheese, creamed spinach, bread and a drink for $9.99

Great BBQ for a chain. Definately beats Mission. I got the 9.99 lunch deal for Thursday. There is a different one everyday. Today was brisket, jalapeno cheddar kielbasa, 2 sides, large drink and bread. Solid portions, great sevice.

I stopped in because I seen one of their vehicles that said "we speak BBQ". Well I speak barbecue too, and I assure you dickeys is not speaking the language I'm speaking -- they're not speaking bbq at all. At best they're speaking cookout in the backyard. The brisket was chopped and not sliced properly and the turkey was wet from being in some type of water sauce. The sauces, the spicy was ketchup with hot peppers, the sweet was ketchup with sugar. Overall the atmosphere was nice and the folks working there were nice. I'd eat there again for sure. It was a decent, inexpensive lunch. But don't go into there thinking you're getting real BBQ, you'll be disappointed.

Thought was good. Sweet BBQ sauce is sorta spicy and good in waffle fries. A little expensive but not terrible. I'd come back.

I'm trying to block this entire experience out of my mind…read more We'd called ahead to make a reservation since we had a group of 9 and asked for seating not near the band. Well, there is no seating where the music is not loud so they shouldn't even be offering it. I've never been in a restaurant where the live music is almost deafening. It was out of control. I don't know how anyone was able to sit inside and have a conversation because you had to yell at the person beside you. Once we were able to get a table (outside in the cold since the music was so loud) and a waiter finally came we ordered food. Skipping ahead...I ordered the nachos. If you like cold queso out of a jar then this is the dish for you! No exaggeration, the queso was completely cold like it had been spooned out of the jar from the shelf. Unreal. Add to this, the dock that backs up to the restaurant kept catching fire. I kid you not. There was some loose pipe or cable that caught fire at least twice while there. Stay away from this place!

But she failed to notice that six of us received their entrées while my wife didn't get hers. My wife had to flag her down after a few minutes and ask. Clearly either she forgot to put it in or the kitchen forgot to make it, because the rest of us were half done by the time my wife's food arrived. Food was mixed. My crab bisque had good flavor, but only a few shreds of crab meat. My wife's Jazzy Jeff soup also had very little crab in it. The crab cake was advertised as having lump crabmeat. It didn't. The fries were good, but the Parmesan cheese mentioned on the menu seemed to be MIA. When our server brought boxes for leftovers she also dropped the check, even though we haven't asked for it. Either they don't have dessert or we were never offered it. We enjoyed the setting and loved spending time with our friends on a lovely end of summer day. But we won't rush back.

I ordered a hot dog and onion rings. The hotdog didn't look great but tastes amazing !! The onion rings appeared well seasoned and cooked. Welp, they were cooked perfectly. 0 seasoning. Not even salt and pepper. They had over 20+ milkshake flavors, sandwiches, and tenders. Nevertheless, I'd return to try a burger.

I had not had a milkshake in ages and there were so many incredible choices. Before deciding I watched one of the workers pouring milk into the milkshake machine ... a very good sign. Our server was smiling ...had a non stop smile, another good sign and she advised us to go small on the fries (We had debated one large for the two of us but right after she said go small a server walked by with a large fry order ...it could feed six of me! Good advice from the server ... another good sign!). They also have "the world's largest soda machine." I doubt it's the world's largest but it allows for some really creative drink choices! The food was awesome ...perfectly cooked, fries were great and that milkshake was drink with a spoon thick. When I asked for a glass of water our server apologized for not asking me if I wanted one earlier ...no need to apologize but that's top notch service. An absolutely fun place to eat classic fast food at a reasonable price!

I enjoyed the bacon and cheese potato kegs. My wife and I split the BLT and grilled cheese. Hers came with a side salad mine with shoe string fries. My son has the salad. Salmon was very good, it was vodka cured; bloodline and skin removed (+++)! Grain was pretty busy for mid-afternoon on a Sunday. Modern pub/ sports pub feel. Phillies game on the TVs. Music playing. Service was OK. My one pet peeve is allowing servers to leave dirty dishes and empty glasses on the table. And our server, although attentive, did not clear any dishes or glasses. Thank god I don't have epilepsy, the light over our table kept blinking non-stop. Plenty of off street parking for patrons. Lots of varied seating, both indoor and outdoor. See warning sign in my pics (haha). As far as prices, they are in line with any other places, as far as these other reviews that said it is excessively expensive, not true. Lunches are $15-20. Not surprising, as on holiday weekends most students go home so the town isn't crowded like a usual week. Service was friendly, fast and attentive. Everyone's meals were very good, except for mine. I made a bad choice. Skip the hot honey chicken over donuts brunch item. Its nothing more than 3 chicken fingers over what tasted like a couple of dry entemann's donuts. (Missed opportunity..theres a greta bakery across the street..should get fresh glazed donuts from them. The donuts ruined the dish. Other meals were very good. Easter quiche special with hollandaise sauce and fried potatoes was delicious, although the size of quiche slices was kind of small. Burrata avocado toast was great, and so was their cheese omelette. It was perfect dining for us as we didn't want a heavy, upscale meal at 1:30 in the afternoon. Will definitely come back next time we are in town for dinner and drinks.
