This is a rare wing review. We probably should do more wing reviews. I somehow ended up in Maryland. That sounds like the beginning of a lot of trouble for a weary traveler. Fortunately, this saga has a happy ending: great wings and discounted beer. I think C3 Tavern BBQs their wings before finishing them off. They offer a house sauce and an Old Bay sauce, and if you ask nicely, they'll even do a 50/50 mix. The wings were meaty, flavorful, and cooked just right. The adventure didn't stop there. We took our wings across the street to Elk River Brewing, where they were trying to kick a keg and offering $3 draft specials. You know how I feel about beer and anything half-price. There was a concert in Elkton that night, so the brewery was filled with chatty, excited concertgoers. Between the wings, the beer, and the people-watching, it was a great afternoon filled with some of my favorite things. read more

Our waiters Stacey went above and beyond for our table and we are so grateful! My nephew on the spectrum only drinks coke, they only offer Pepsi products so she offered her unopened bottle of it. Reviews are pretty accurate for this place. The Buffalo chicken egg rolls were great. Reminds me of a recipe I have for a dip we make that is really good. I had the garlic steakhouse burger. The burger itself was cooked to a perfect medium but the steakhouse sauce that was on it I didn't care for and really ruined it for me. Great burger in preparation and build so i don't want to knock them if it's just me for not caring for a particular flavor. My wife had the reuben. She said it was one of the best reubens shes had and really liked how the bread stood up to the meat and didnt get soggy. We both didn't care for the fries too much. They were overly salty and came across almost stale. Service was really good and friendly. The atmosphere was nice aside from having the loudest girl on the planet at the end of the bar that was trying to talk to people in another state from her seat apparently. read more

When I entered this place I entered an wonderland. I never knew what food could truly be. The pierogies were so good that when I bit into them I was transported to a land of potato and bread. And the Caeser Salad was perfect quality. I will definitely come back someday. read more

Came here because my 90 yo Mom, wanted a "good" burger. This place exceeded all expectations. Husband and wife owned, with fresh veggies delivered daily. The menu has so many different diverse options. Apps include peirogies, smoked pork belly. My burger had tomatoe jam, my Mom's had beer sauted onions. The fries were perfection. This place would be easy to miss without Yelp, on the Main St of a very old town, find it and make it a weekly spot, you won't be disappointed. I'm not a local of Elkton, so I wasn't expecting much to be honest. I showed up for my girlfriend. Came here to celebrate her birthday with my fellow co-workers. We all met and just sat at the bar. Drinks were flowing, vibes were going, bar tenders were attentive, food was made fresh-hot-and ready to devour. Their traditional wings are phenomenal and buffalo chicken egg rolls are bomb! Even though they are finger foods, they were delicious that I ordered more to take home. I didn't stay as long as everyone else, but I actually had a good time. read more

Yesterday we ate here for perhaps the last time. We have been visiting C3 for about 4 years now. But our daughter is graduating from the University of Delaware this week and so we are unlikely to be near enough to visit again. Over the last four years we never had a bad experience and as others have said the burgers are amazing. Salads are also quite fresh. A lot of bar restaurants are good with the alcohol and a little weak on the food quality. As a non-drinker I can assure you the food is top tier. Service? Always friendly and wonderful. A little over due, in Feb i visited C3ntral Tavern with a group of old coworkers for lunch on a Saturday. We were a party of six, and unfortunately, there were only two servers working that day. This resulted in some service issues during our meal. For instance, when we asked for a new plate for an app that arrived dirty, we never received one. Additionally, we were given someone else's table's food initially, which was quite frustrating( more so for the table that was waiting before us). There was a bit of a wait for our food. As for the food, my Chesapeake chicken sandwich was disappointing as the chicken was very dry, almost as if it had been pre-cooked and then reheated for service. The crab on it was great fries crisp and buttery bun was good. My friends enjoyed their chicken salad sandwiches and burgers. We also shared the loaded fries, which were tasty, again the crab was good! Overall, I would give C3ntral Tavern 2.5 stars out of 5. The service issues we experienced were frustrating, and the food was hit or miss. However, the loaded fries were a standout dish, and my companions seemed to enjoy their meals. If you do decide to give C3ntral Tavern a try, I would recommend going during a less busy time to ensure better service. read more

I went on a rainy Friday for lunch, and surprisingly this place was very full. They have all kinds of hot sandwiches and burgers, which are my comfort food. I had the Reuben which was good, just a touch too dry. I wish they had hot coffee and good soups, because that would have made lunch even greater. read more

I was driving through downtown to research long ago family roots and came upon this place when I wanted a nice coffee drink. I picked it because a trio of bicyclists were sitting at a table out front so it seemed friendly that locals enjoy. I went in and they made the cappuccino but I also asked for water and also their version of an egg McMuffin. The breakfast sandwich had scrambled eggs and really good bacon. And a homemade biscuit. It was really good! I had taken it outside to enjoy too and had to go in for a fork... the sandwich was falling apart... good falling apart. I think the bill was a tad on the high side but it could be they gave me a bottle of water and a glass to go with it. The service was good but it wasn't as friendly as one would suspect. Overall: We only got take out, but the pickup process was easy, parking can be challenging, but food was great for Bar / Pub food. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It's a small venue, but it has personality. Mostly bar sitting inside with a small handful of bar tables to sit at. read more

Food: this is the absolute hidden gem of Elkton, MD. This place is absolutely one of the best if not THE best restaurant in town. Their food is LEGENDARY! My family and I have been there several times now and every time I get something new. I have yet to be disappointed. My 2 recommendations for anyone and everyone would be the wings and the pierogies. The best wings I've ever had. EVER. Their pierogies are my favorite! I want these pierogies served at my wedding. That's how in love with them I am. Last time I went I also got a pulled pork sandwich which is another new favorite of mine. Another amazing find at C3ntral Tavern is their fries! Shake Shack WHO?!? In my opinion these fries are better than Shake Shack's. This restaurant makes Elkton a little less boring. Service: really nice and friendly atmosphere. We were in Elkton for the Fire Hall flea market, and decided to grab a bite after before heading home. As soon as we walked into C3ntral Tavern we were greeted by Nicole & Kim, who were most friendly and took great care of us. We each ordered a burger (French Onion and Burnin' Burger) and the truffle parmesan fries, and everything was DE-LI-CIOUS! The truffle fries were perfect - totally even distribution of flavorful oil, generous parmesan, and crispy goodness. You could've filled a hog troth with them and I'd have gorged myself till I fell over sideways! The burgers were also great - exactly as we ordered them, and so fresh and flavorful. Not only will we stop back after the next flea market, but we'll probably go out of way to eat there again as I'm still thinking about the food a day later - highly recommended! read more

Went for dinner on a Friday night. The place was busy. The food, service and place were all great. The staff was very friendly and offered suggestions. The kitchen was busy but it didn't feel like it took long to get food. I especially liked the traditional chicken wings with honey Old Bay. I got them fried but you can choose fried or baked. I also had the garic steakhouse burger which was fantastic. Even the fries that came with it were excellent. It was a new venue for me and I'm looking forward to going back soon to try more of the menu. read more

Excellent service - got in with no wait. Friendly atmosphere of a neighborhood bar a la Cheers. We split chicken salad and I loved the extra touch of dill. The burgers are not frozen patties but handmade like your Mom would make. We split the eastern shore burger and the crab dip was tasty. Definitely will come here again read more

I went today for lunch and had a party of 10 coming from a memorial service. No tables were open and they told me we could sit at the bar. I sat and asked if they could put some menus out to hold the places at the bar. They did then a couple minutes later the same waitress told me they couldn't hold the spots. I offered to order items at that point and that the other guests were pulling up. They told me they had a business to run. I am from out of town and fortunately there were two nice women setting at bar that suggested another restaurant due to the way I was treated. I left and took out business elsewhere.
