I think that's what I love so much about Desi's... the consistency. Every item on their large menu is available everyday. Plus they have specials daily to offer something new. I don't know how they do it all. The marinara for the mozzarella sticks is probably the only thing I haven't liked. Southwest egg rolls are always a hit. The Cow Tipper burger comes piled high with jalapeños, bbq sauce and onion rings - wow! But my favorite has got to be their salad and garlic Parmesan fries. They really have something for everyone. Great drinks, even better food and kind bartenders.

Even that bacon is made with beef. They've got a neat selection of sodas! I had an Abita king cake soda which was like big red gum and cream soda combined. They also have Jones soda which I haven't had since I was a kid! I love it! If you find yourself out in Meraux, you gotta stop in and try this place out.

Once I heard that I knew I had to give it a try. Me and a friend decided to give it a try on a Friday night. Went in and was immediately seated, no wait time at all. the place isn't very big, so I was surprised by this. After reviewing the menu, we placed our orders for the Brewster Burger (10-ounce sirloin beef) with a loaded baked potato. I decided to try their signature drink the Boom a lache, they have a full service bar so you can order whatever you like though. My drink came out first and it was delicious, very similar to port of calls monsoon drink, and the size was huge. After a short wait the food came and we were thoroughly impressed, great burger and the loaded baked potato was just right. Can't wait to go back when I'm in the mood for a quality burger at a great price.
