This is the very rude person.

I'm giving Dickey's one star because there is a woman in there giving away people's food. I ordered on Door Dash and she gave my food away wouldn't remake my order was very rude and unprofessional. She also called the police on my Dasher and all they were doing is trying to get the food I ordered for my mother. She wouldn't give her name or let me or my Dasher speak with a manager. This is wrong and I can't believe Dickey's have someone in their establishment play with people's money like that. So disrespectful!!! Dickey's just lost a customer.

She said it was really, really good! She could've had bananas as well but she doesn't like them. Would definitely return. Mom and pops spot so no big crowds but a few people or small group is ok. Server was nice and quick. Can't recall her name though.

I called in my to go order and the person who took my order was nice. I ordered the grilled fish and shrimp which came with 2 sides. I got the green beans and side salad. I wanted Italian dressing, but they don't carry it so I settled on balsamic vinaigrette. She told me it'd probably be about 15 mins and since I live about 10 or so minutes away, I hopped in the car after I got off the phone and drove there. There were a few customers dining in but it wasn't very busy. My food was ready and sitting at the counter, so I paid and went home to eat. It was a nice sized piece of fish and a good bit of shrimp. Fish flavor was good but shrimp flavor was just okay. House salad and green beans both had pieces of bacon in them so I tried to avoid that as I ate. I believe the total was about $26 or $27. Overall it was just ok in my opinion. Some of the other items on the menu may taste better. I may try something else from them one day.

That was so kind, and it moved me. Many "social" experiences feel so impersonal and isolated now; and I've always felt that making, eating, and sharing food should not feel that way, and, at Beignets & More, walking into the space feels humanizing, like you've been welcomed to a family meal, even if you're on your own. My friend and I both had pots of green tea and ordered pho, which came out within 10 minutes. I have wheat/gluten allergies and confirmed that the pho here is gluten free. The brisket pho was great, and I'll definitely come back to try the chicken, rare steak, and veggie--or to get a big container of their terrific broth to go when I'm feeling a cold coming on. (I'm sure other menu items are worth trying too!) Both the son and his dad came around during our meal to gently ask "everything is good?" I'll be here often as long as I live in New Orleans. -- Bonuses: In the table caddy with hoisin sauce, sriracha, napkins, and spoons, there are also real chopsticks to use--not the wooden, to-go ones many restaurants offer even when you're dining in. Parking at the strip mall is easy.

Once I heard that I knew I had to give it a try. Me and a friend decided to give it a try on a Friday night. Went in and was immediately seated, no wait time at all. the place isn't very big, so I was surprised by this. After reviewing the menu, we placed our orders for the Brewster Burger (10-ounce sirloin beef) with a loaded baked potato. I decided to try their signature drink the Boom a lache, they have a full service bar so you can order whatever you like though. My drink came out first and it was delicious, very similar to port of calls monsoon drink, and the size was huge. After a short wait the food came and we were thoroughly impressed, great burger and the loaded baked potato was just right. Can't wait to go back when I'm in the mood for a quality burger at a great price.
