07/27/24 Went to the Comedy show. The performances of the pre-show were not really funny. The main act was Raunchy. DiCicco's need to rate their acts. This one would have been rated XXXVulgar. The soup at Clovis is not as good as the minestrone soup in Madera. read more

We stopped in on Wednesday and man was that the night to come! For anyone who doesn't know, they do Open Mic Comedy on Wednesday nights starting at 7pm. We arrived around that time and were asked if we had a reservation. We did not but they had no problem seating us right away. I don't even know where to start...with the review because I had such an amazing night! We ordered a Pepperoni Pizza, an order of Garlic Parm Wings & Calamari Fritti to go with it. The wings were fall of the bone good, the Calamari wasn't overcooked and came with lemon wedges like it should! The pizza was great and we ate all of it! As for the comedy, it was downright hilarious. They had a headliner and then ended the night with an Open Mic. Everyone did a fantastic job and had me in tears wiping my eyes laughing. THIS is how Comedy should be done!! You will see me next Wednesday and probably many more to come!!! Thanks again guys, the food was fantastic and I needed that laughter moreso this week than ever! read more

Always love coming to Old Town Clovis and getting to stop in to DiCicco's. Had the pleasure of dining in the other night and as always the food and drinks were delicious and service prompt. Especially loved the service from our server Lara, she's a superstar. Will definitely be requesting her service next time we're able to drop in. The overall atmosphere and wonderful staff keep us coming back. Keep it up! read more

The food was great and nothing was forgotten in our delivery and it was on time. Plenty of condiments which I love

This was our first time and we absolutely loved it. Catherine, our waitress was very helpful and made sure to make our experience a great one. The food was delicious and portions were big. We will definitely be eating there again. read more

The food was salty and resembled everything out of a jar! Not worth the money, or your palette. The server did not ask if we wanted bread, just brought it, we did not want any. The artichoke with aioli was missing the artichokes! Very few, small pieces, again not worth the money. This restaurant use to be busy. This was yesterday, Saturday, Where was everyone?? Definetly somewhere better! read more

Horrible service. Took my wife for dinner after old town Clovis event and waited an hour only to be told my order was not placed. Lots of attention given to large groups at the expense of a two person table. Won't go back there again! read more

Don't order pizza from this location. You will be much happier going to the one on Cedar and Nees. They won't be super-skimpy with toppings the way Old Town location is. I even tried to overcome this by ordering triple-pepperoni but they just ignored that and barely put any on there. I had entire slices that had only one pepperoni on it. They didn't forget to charge me for three toppings though! I now take the extra ten minute drive each way to get a good pizza at DiCiccos Cedar and Nees. read more

Dinner was delicious at DiCiccos, in Clovis, as first time visitors. We started with a Crispy Artichoke Hearts appetizer - the sauce was zesty and addicting. Our dinners, per the server Brittiane's recommendations, included the Spaghetti Limone and the Spinach Ravioli with added chicken. Both excellent dishes! To top it off we paired our dinners with the house Chianti - so smooth and mild that it went down really well. To cleanse our palette we enjoyed a delicious scoop of spumoni. The restaurant was quiet for a Tuesday evening and we received quick service. read more

I picked up dinner tonight to celebrate my husband's birthday. When I arrived home I realized they failed to give any marinara sauce to go with his calzone. I also ordered a pizza and the spaghetti plate. The crust in the calzone was rubbery and hard to chew. My husband needed to use a steak knife to cut the calzone. The pizza looked and tasted like it was frozen with minimal toppings. I thought at least my spaghetti would be decent. Nope, so bland. Tasted like it was covered in tomato paste. Luckily I had a bottle of Prego to use as the calzone sauce and it has considerably more flavor than the sauce on my spaghetti read more

My husband and I ordered takeout from here, first of all it was super expensive for what you get, by that I mean the portions are extremely small. The food is absolutely delicious, no complaints at all, my husband said the staff was friendly and kind, our order was a little late, but that wasn't a big deal, overall I'm happy with the food and the service , the price is a little much. read more

My family loves DiCiccos. In fact it is our most common order every other Friday night. Tonight we decided to order a pizza from DiCiccos along with some pasta. The pasta is great, even though a salad is no longer complementary. The pizza? Well, I don't mind paying$21 bucks for a great pizza, loaded with toppings. What was delivered was a sad excuse for a pizza. It was even vegetarian, but still little to no toppings. We will not be ordering pizza from here again. read more

Great spot. Quality food. Good service. Nice and relaxing inside. I will definitely return again.

What a disappointment. One thing is for sure, no two Di Cicco's are alike! Went here last evening with my wife, sister and brother in law and 4 out of 4 were disappointed in the food. My wife and sister ordered the chicken picatta and the chicken was way overcooked and barely edible. I had the combo pizza and it was super salty as was my brother in law's eggplant parmigiana. Bread was great, salads not very good. The waitress was Ok. Not likely to return read more

First, a few positives first, as there were some... Our food was very good. When we had a problem, management was great! Available parking with in front on Clovis! But some problems. -coming in we waited a long time to get seated, as dinner was starting. They were not busy, couldn't be bothered seating us for our reservation. -when we were seated, no server would take our order. -as we waited for a server to at least get us water on a day it was 103 outside, patrons at a table next to us kept acting strange. We're a boring, professional couple, so generally nothing eventful to see. I think one was drunk, still, not pleasant for us. -when a server did come, he was pleasant, but disorganized, not writing down anything we told, so we hoped we could trust his memory. A big "no" there. He'd forget parts of our order and not bring things. It seemed like he was trying, maybe a bit overwhelmed. Because... -when we finished still not receiving some of what we asked for, I gave him our card to pay. And he misplaced/lost my card. I knew that I gave it to him, explained it to my wife and their management, so they went about trying to find it. We waited for a while, with no sign of my card. The manager came by, apologized, said they were looking for it, hadn't found it. As we waited and realized the card was gone, I called our bank and cancelled the card. Really frustrating to trust them with it, have them lose it. He left and came back later, said they couldn't find it, would comp our meal. Then we left, walking the few blocks to our vehicle. Before we get to our vehicle, we see our server hurriedly walking to us, waving my card. We appreciated the effort, though my card was now cancelled and useless. My lesson-be very wary of trusting your credit cards here. We won't go back. But I wouldn't ever want any part of our finances like a card in their hands. With all that said, I do not believe it was personal or intentional. Our server seemed well-meaning, appeared to be trying to be diligent. But something was off here with a number of the service staff during our first/only visit. read more

Nice food nice people great location love pizza love the music also can't wait to go back

I'm done with this place. Too many bad experiences. My guess is the staff gets over whelmed with take out orders. One time I waited to be seated for so long my husband and I just left. It was ridiculous and the person supposingly in charge of seating us was a hysterical mess. I felt sorry for her. The inside of the restaurant was not that busy. We were just forgotten. When we've had food delivered and the portions were small. They often forget items. We order from a different location now. I just love their sauce, calzones and lasagna so I'm glad the other locations have better customer service. read more

This place is worst than a 1, twice I ordered from uber eats and even mentioned in the comments about no sauce since the last time I ordered instead of cheese ravioli they gave me beef, so I was very particular in my add comment that they don't screw up, and again they do it obviously the person reading did not finish grade 7 and Clovis unified just passed this moron, and Diccio's decided to hire the fool. Support Local "hell noooo" They should of been a casualty of covid Understand 1 thing Dicco's ppl work hard for there money so learn to respect that, u are in a service based business Sandy instead of apologizing do something about this u have plenty of reviews that you don't want, if u are in over your head get out of the business!!! read more

I recently ate here today, 2/12, around 3pm. My boyfriend and I were the only people in there for about a good 20 minutes. Our server was Rene and I'm surprised by all of his good reviews because today was not his best day. We had to ask him four times for water because he kept forgetting, by the time new customers came in and sat he got them water right away so we asked for a fifth time and finally got them. There was a hair in my alfredo which he noticed after he set down my plate but at least he noticed and put in a new order for me. Not once did he come and check in on us asking how our food was or if we needed anything. I tried constantly to flag him down for the check but he was nowhere to be seen for at least 15 minutes after we were done eating. I could hear him and his coworkers just talking in the back, which is fine that they talk but don't let it distract you from your job. After we finally got the check and our boxes I'm pretty sure I heard him complaining about us because I heard him say "ya I even took 10% off of their check" which was $2.40 so how generous. I love this restaurant and the food but I expect better service, never once had I had this problem. Especially since we were some of the only people in here for awhile I thought we'd be a priority but I guess not. read more

We haven't been here in years. It is ao nice inside very upscale with the same delicious food. We had a group of 8 and everyone was happy the food. Our server was right on point and really wanted us to have a nice experience. Thank you for such a nice dinner read more

I ordered my lunch today through Uber Eats and I was not 100% impressed. I work from home and order my food in a lot. I noticed that there was not a sticker placed on the pizza box I ordered for safety. Most pizza places seal the boxes so the clients feel comfortable that driver's aren't getting in ones food. The paper bags were stapled though with the other food items. I also ordered fettuccine and the portion was very small. Good but small. The bread was delicious, fresh, and still warm. The pizza was cold and did not have a lot of cheese or pepperoni on it. I know all DiCicco's are owned by different owners but this one seems to have smaller portions and less product on their pizza. read more

Massively crowded as there is indoor seating in defiance of the Tier 1 (Purple) pandemic level. It's a real shame--I love this place and their food, it's always good and the staff is always friendly. Sadly, it was much like going to the restaurant back in 2019 given the lack of spacing, people eating inside, etc. Perhaps "DiCovids" would be a more apt name. read more

DiCiccos is a family favorite and honestly didn't disappoint. We both had the Scarface was pretty good, and the ambiance was awesome

Save a life saver when it comes to dinner time. Order and pick up was smooth. Totes try the 3 combo meal

My family and I ordered food for dinner and boy was this a WRONG choice! I ordered a lasagna with a side of minestrone soup. The lasagna tasted awful and I was better off getting Stoffers frozen lasagna! The minestrone soup tasted like water and had NO salt and very little veggies. My husband ordered Scarface and it was OK, but had no salt as well and was cold. My son ordered a child's pepperoni pizza that looked and tasted like Red Baron frozen pizza. We got SCREWED! Lasagna $13.99 + Alforno $3.00 + soup $3.99 Rigatoni Scarface $16.99 + side salad $3.75 Kids pizza $8.99 A total waste of $54.77 ‍ This review sounds harsh, but I can't believe they would serve people food like this! read more

amazing people amazing food and no body said anything about my service dog. Great atmosphere. I will definitely eat here again

Don't recommend the chicken Madeira. The chicken has some kind of coating that made it taste floury and the sauce was less than good. I do recommend the traditional calzone- never go wrong there!! read more

When entering the business at 310pm there was no one to greet you, and the cook sat us and gave us menus. When the waitress finally took notice she was very short and rude off the get. She went to the 4 tables at the restaurant and asked if they were ok and look my way and walked to the back. She also had someone come in and bring her a drink and she started to point at our table to make it seem like we should be scared She had someone come in??? She is the white lady with strawberry hair in pony tail. The other servers that work there were awesome. The manager came to speak to us and he tried so hard to comp a meal. But I had to explain to him that it was not the food it was the server and when we didn't have her anymore the service was better. I didn't want to have an issue but if you do not like what you do you should quit. read more

Ambiance was good server was good except the dish Lemon sauce spaghetti with capers, artichokes, chicken- it originally sounded good but it was just a dried up pasta with bland olive oil base, thats what it tasted like to me. DiCicco's Old Town Clovis - Fettuccine Al Bianco - Italian Near Me - Clovis, California

On Friday, March 25, 2022 I went to Di Chico's restaurant, located in Clovis, Ca. My friends and I got tickets for a "SLICE OF COMEDY" We were seated in the first two rows facing the stage. I was the only African-American there. Before the show started my group and I ordered our dinners separately. I ordered chicken fettuccine, garlic bread and a Caesar salad. While I waited for my order the comedian host, Danny Minch, came out on stage. He began making comments asking where's all the Black people. He also went on to say we only have one black person in the room. He started asking the audience does anyone here have any black friends. This went on for approximately five minutes. People started pointing at me saying we have one black friend here. When the waitress brought me my chicken fettuccine it was cold, she also stated that they just put some bread in the oven. The waitress also stated, they were cutting the lettuce for my salad. At that moment, I also asked the waitress for eating utensils which I never received. Some of my friends ordered salads which they received. My salad never came. I used my friends spoon to eat my fettuccine. The bread was still frozen In the middle when it was placed in front of me. At that point I excuse myself and headed to the lobby. The comedian, Danny Minch, met me in the lobby with a huge grin he asked me, are you enjoying the show. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone especially if you're from a different ethnic group. read more
