This is shady: I called the Salinas Police Dept after receiving a collect call from jail. I was…read moresomehow automatically transferred to Bail Hotline. After filling out all the forms I was told it would be 3-5 hours. Never received a call. I was called when the person I was trying to bail out was released. I assumed Bail Hotline had finally posted the bail. Later I find out the charges were changed and no bail was needed. Two days later I get a call from Bail Hotline about the refund. I fill out more forms and when I called to check I was told something different each time. Long story short: I got my refund but never a straight answer. Why I was charged the bail when it never needed to be posted is beyond me. And why Salinas PD switched me directly to Bail Hotline on my initial call without telling me is very suspect. Anyhow, AVOID!

When I called he had told me it would be 500 $ which is 10% of the 5,000$ I needed bail for once I informed him that on the sign in the holding tank said it would only be 5% he got upset and yelled that I had already told him I had the 500$ which I did but if I did not need to pay the whole amount why would I anyway he was so upset he hung up on me! Not professional at all. Anyway at the end I didn't need a bail bonds because it was my first and only time I was OR'd anyway I do not recommend this person one bit. No patience and no professionalism GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
