When I entered, the individual at the front desk greeted me kindly; seriously, I don't even want to say that they train them well (though they probably do) because I get genuinely good energy from everyone in that place. About my haircut and barber: I showed Quency a picture from last year and told him I wanted something like it, but I'm so tired of the cowlick and I want another option. Let me tell you, he understood what I wanted, but KNEW what I needed. He asked what I thought about a style totally different, but cute, trendy, and fairly easy for me to fix at home. I'm of the mindset that you only live once, so why not. When he got started on a faux hawk type cut, I told him I'm surprised he thinks it'll work out since I have relatively plain hair without much volume. He paused and told me that that's his job! I put my trust him when I took off my glasses, and he got to work. When we were done, I was honestly really surprised. My hair, which usually feels textureless and honestly quite burdensome, was stylish and contemporary. I am so glad that I trusted his opinion and went with something new and confidence-boosting. He then proceeded to cut most of my hair off in the span of around 15-20 minutes and then send me on my way with the shortest my hair has been in probably years. I definitely did not ask for that and it seemed like he just wanted me in and out as quick as possible. $55 for a 15 minute haircut with minimal actual service.

There is even at least one woman who was doing salon things for her customer. Very old school with colorful characters that made my time enjoyable. I am very particular about my cuts and they did a solid job overall. My fade wasn't perfect but it worked. He used clippers on the top so I could get it even all over, many other barbers won't do this. He didn't have a straight razor so for my neck he used one of those multi blade manual razors, it worked but I prefer a single blade. All this for $25!!!!!!!
