We've had a great experience both times we've been to Diamonds Rock. We bought my ring out of state, so unfortunately both times it needed repairs I wasn't able to have the original shop work on it. Enter Diamonds Rock. They've been speedy quick with quality repairs both times. I've also found their prices to be very reasonable. Recently, one of my small side diamonds fell out on vacation, and Diamonds Rock was able to fix and tune up my ring in just a few days. They also charged me less than originally quoted! I can't remember his name, but there's a guy who is always there and he is very friendly and patient, especially considering my husband is very particular about my rings. Initially I loved this place. Great service, useful help, and found what I was looking for. Spent well-over $10k on an engagement ring with one of the nicer settings. In less than a year I have had two side diamonds fall out and the main diamond become VERY loose twice now. When I took it in it was fixed... one month later here we are again with the same issues: side diamond gone and main juggling in its place. When questioned about it they said "oh sometimes when we are jam packed we have them made elsewhere and they usually have issues." Just to clarify nothing about the ring was a rush job. I told them I would need it in 6 months from when I bought it. If you want a ring or any other piece of jewelry that will last, find a different jeweler. read more

I've been looking for a new jeweler for years since I moved from Indianapolis. I heard a commercial on the radio for Diamonds Rock and decided to check them out. I started by sending an email through the website knowing that only a jeweler who truly believes in delivering a unique customer experience would bother to respond. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a person email from Dennis responding to my request for some diamond studs for my anniversary. A few weeks later I drove up to the store and asked for Dennis. He was very informative and patient with all my questions and I really felt like he would spend as much time with me as I needed to find the right studs for my wife. I decided not to buy that day and continue to interact with Dennis via email. I went in for a second time to look at some new stock he received and finally found just the right pair. The price and customer service was absolutely unbeatable. And trust me when I say the price was unbeatable because I spent hours upon hours looking at prices from everywhere in the city and online. Within days of receiving my ring I had to go have diamonds replaced because they had already fallen out. Once replaced it still looked off, but I left with it anyway. The ring looked like it had spaces between the diamonds instead of a flush look because diamonds that were too small for the settings on the sides were placed on the sides not allowing for the pave look, but more of a metal look (since diamonds were too small). Again, a week later the diamonds fell out (more than likely because they were too small). I went back in and said that more diamonds had fallen out and that 4 had already been replaced. I was shocked when I was told, " actually, I think it was more like three." It should have been ZERO. My only option was to have them make a new ring (at my expense) since they do not refund your money. I had a new "custom" ring made but that meant paying for a 3/4 carat band to have the stone set on, but they took the two stones out to set the main stone and kept them (making the new weight .47 cart (huh, didn't know that was standard practice nor does that seem fair). The halo surrounding the diamond was made too large (even though it should have been perfect considering it was "custom" made) so once again, instead of the ring looking "flush" it looked like a center diamond, a black ring around the diamond, and then the halo. I tried and tried to convince myself that the ring wasn't as bad as it was, but when I went in another jewelry store to look at wedding bands there was absolutely no way to not see the glaring flaws in the construction and quality of my ring. Instead of going back and risking further disappointment and expense we paid a few thousand dollars for a new setting and switched the diamond into a new, designer setting (which was only slightly more than the horrendous one constructed by diamond's rock) to simply not have to deal with them any further. I am beyond disappointed with the customer service and execution of their products. I initially thought that they made the jewelry in-house but it is sent off to New York to be made and somewhere in that process there is someone that is incompetent and producing an incredibly sub-par product. To further the blow, Diamond's Rock essentially just creates an appraisal for your purchase price, but not a true appraisal of what the diamond is worth. Once we had the appraisal done by a real jeweler it came back THREE THOUSAND lower than what Diamond's Rock had appraised it for. Although the lower prices can be alluring you do not want to make the same mistake we did. You're better off spending more at a more professional and quality jewelry store! read more

This review is for Diamonds Rock. My family has been using Diamonds Rock for as long as I can remember. I have received several pieces of jewelry from Diamonds Rock for graduation, birthday, and Christmas presents. The quality has always been outstanding and the jewelry is beautiful. Although I have owned their beautiful jewelry for years and my family has nothing but praise for Mike and his team...this week I experienced first-hand what separates Diamonds Rock from other jewelry stores. My fiancé purchased a diamond, setting, and wedding band from a different local jewelry chain. The price was descent and the quality upon purchased was great. However, I quickly had several issues with the jewelry including loose stones, tool marks on the setting, rough spots on the inside of the ring, poor customer service, and just an all-around poor experience after the purchase was made. This week I took my ring to Diamonds Rock. I explained the number of times I had been to my original jeweler with no luck and the issues I wanted fixed. Time for some honesty: I broke down and cried. I was frustrated that my original jeweler had left me with a damaged ring. But Mike and the staff at Diamonds Rock assured me that for a skilled jeweler, this was an easy fix. I was reassured that my ring was not ruined: it just needed some TLC from a professional, qualified, and caring staff. Today, I received my ring back from Diamonds Rock and it looks more beautiful than ever before. I cannot thank the staff at Diamonds Rock enough for what they have accomplished. I ended last week by receiving no customer support and service from my original jeweler and started this week by receiving patience and attention to detail from Diamonds Rock. Added bonus: my diamonds look even larger now that they are set properly! A piece of jewelry is composed of diamonds, gems, and precious metals. But it also contains cherished memories and priceless sentimental value. I no longer trust my ring at a store that sees a price tag and nothing more. I have done business at Diamonds Rock for years. Dennis has always waited on me and has been wonderful. However this past year when I went in Dennis was not working and a young woman waited on me. I found her to be arrogant. She did not go out of her way to wait on me when I was the only customer. She definitely did not seem to appreciate my business. I was not given my jewelry when promised nor did I get an apology from her. While at Diamonds Rock this young woman told me that the store didn't need to buy any gold jewelry before she even looked at what I had told her I would like to sell. She seemed bothered to look at a ring I had for literally 5 seconds for me. There was no one in the store and when I asked for a receipt for my purchase she seemed put out and told me I would have to wait 15 minutes if I needed one. I was so disappointed with this last visit as I had always loved this jewelry store. read more
