My dog Bruno
Larissa B.

STAY AWAY FRON LINDSAY HANNAH The most terrible experience of communicating with a doctor happened in this clinic. I even hate to call her a doctor. Lindsay Hannah is the rudest and most unpleasant person I've ever met. She loves money so much that she absolutely does not care about the health of animals. You have to really dislike your dog to entrust her to Lindsay Hannah. Our dog was admitted to this clinic on the evening of January 11. He was vomiting and breathing erratically. Dr. Kristina Modjeski helped to stabilize him. She offered to give him intravenous medication because he was vomiting. To which I agreed. And they left him under observation overnight to be transported to the clinic with a neurologist in the morning. When I called in the morning, Lindsay Hannah was already on shift. She was immediately rude to me, said that I was lying and that I refused intravenous drugs in favor of pills, made it clear that she had no idea if Bruno had vomited since he was with them, she did not know if he had a fever and did not know anything at all, she also did not assume why he initially felt bad. Lindsay Hannah made it clear that she was only interested in money and she offered to leave him in the clinic longer. At the same time, no reasonable treatment plan was proposed. During the conversation, she forbade me to call their clinic and ask how my dog is feeling. "No news is the best news" were her words. She made it clear to me several times in a very rude way that she was unhappy that I was asking her questions. After this conversation, my husband and I decided to find another doctor and another clinic. And we managed to find a clinic that agreed to accept us, but it is located in Tacoma. We agreed on an appointment with a doctor from a clinic in Tacoma, they had the necessary equipment and specialists, which are absent in the Diamond clinic. Both my husband and I have completely cleared our work schedule to be able to take our dog to the clinic in Tacoma. When I called Linsay Hannah to ask her when I can pick up my dog, she clarified the name of the clinic where we wanted to take him and said that it was not necessary and he was fine with her. When we made it clear to her that we would not change our mind, she called the clinic in Tacoma and told them that my dog Bruno was doing fine and that his condition was completely under her control. On this basis, the clinic to which we almost managed to get to see specialists and get a proper examination, canceled our appointment and gave it to another patient. Lindsay Hannah and her team didn't let me to pick up my dog for more than an hour. And when they finally gave him away, they very sarcastically refused to give us any medications for him. And they kept repeating that it was all my fault, because I decided to take him away. And they wished me good luck to find a clinic that will accept us, because there is a shortage of staff everywhere. They did not give any reasonable comments about his future home treatment. Two hours later, my dog Bruno became very ill. He began to breathe very often, taking more than 70 breaths per minute. We immediately went to the emergency and are now waiting for an examination from a doctor. If Lindsay Hannah hadn't intervened and wasn't so selfish, my dog would have been given the necessary help in time and we wouldn't have had to go through all this.

My 5 month old kitten got a pretty bad eye infection suddenly and couldn't really open her eye and after calling places from Renton to Mount Vernon I finally found Diamond Vet and they were able to see her. Yes the wait is long but it's worth it. I was updated with her progress and results quickly and always kept in the loop. They we super nice from the first person I spoke to on the phone when getting triaged, to the doctor, to the assistant to the check out gal I really appreciated them getting her in the same day and getting her back to her crazy kitten self!

She was incredibly thorough with the details and went way out of her way to make sure my chickens were safely put up for the night, every night, when our automatic chicken door timer was malfunctioning. I NEVER would have gotten that kind of courtesy if I'd hired some non-professional pet sitter off of Care.com, which I considered. And I'm pretty sure she even hosed the patio of chicken poop (and neatly coiled the hose) even though I didn't ask her to do that. I know EXACTLY who to call next time we have to leave our fur and feather babies! Thanks Loretta!

We had a trip come up…read moreearlier this year in May, so I contacted All Creatures Great & Small based on recommendations I saw here on Yelp. I've worked in the pet sitting business myself years back, so when Loretta immediately contacted me and then came by to meet the cats, I was wary to see what we were up against. I shouldn't have had even the slightest concern! Loretta is both warm and personable, asks a ton of questions so she knew what we wanted, and got to know each of our kitties. They took to her right away (even the skittish one!) and I felt comfortable after her first "get to know you" visit. I knew our cats and fish were in excellent hands. She came daily, on schedule, spent time with the cats while we were away. She even tidied up around the house and kept them entertained! We got updates via text how they were doing, and she was always quick to respond if I contacted her. So positive and upbeat. We simply adore her and cannot recommend this service highly enough! I know that from here on out, Loretta will be our go-to if we have to go out of town because she's just fantastic with the animals and an all around fabulous lady. I've never felt *so* comfortable being away from home simply because I knew they were in amazing company. I wish I could give 10 stars, but 5 will have to do. Her prices are insanely reasonable for the amount of care she brings to the job and it was all around the best service for our meows that we could have possibly asked for!

I absolutely adore this place!…read more Aside from a Petco or Petsmart I don't think I've ever really been in a reptile store and I got to tell you, every time I visit to pick up rats for my snakes, UGG. I love it! I feel like once in awhile they change their layout but the most RECENT change up? Amazing! Please don't change it. My favorite are the giant snakes (that used to be in the back and harder to see) but now I can see them up front and center! They are huge! I came a few weeks ago when one of the staff members were handling the green tree python and ugg so beautiful in person (I watch a lot of snake videos on YT). Anyways, I'm getting carried away, I initially wanted to leave a review for my actual purchase of F/T rats and mice. I still remember the first time I came in and I asked for some mice... the sweet girl goes to the back and brings me a LIVE MOUSE! I'm like "ooooh no no no, I need frozen please!" Haha! Ever since then, I make sure to clarify I need frozen. My hognose is a great eater and never had any issues and before I found this place, I had to order in bulk like 50-100... and it was not cheap nor did I have the space. When I got my ball python, there was no way I was going to be ordering 50+ rats and you know how they can be... when I first got him he ate 2 times and decided to go on a hunger strike for 6 months... good thing I didn't have 48 more rats in my freezer lol! Both my snakes eat great which means they really take care of their rodents and I have been a happy customer for the past 1.5ish years? I used to drive up from Ballard but now we live in Everett so it's only 15 mins away! Thanks for all that you guys do and being welcoming every time (:

Even though the chameleon is a more complicated creature to care for, Nina taught us everything we needed to know to be successful with our new pet, and has continued to answer any questions that have arisen. Also, unlike at the big chain stores, Hewitt breeds their own chameleons and they know what they're doing. If you buy a reptile from Petco or Petsmart, you're likely to get one that has been bred from poor stock, has been improperly cared for, and is unhealthy. Avoid these expensive and heartbreaking problems by shopping at Hewitt!

I live far where I have to take a ferry across the water to get to seattle/everrett area. Unfortunately because of the ferry system and events occurring downtown the boats were over an hour late. With this location I had initially put a request to drop off my dog at 3pm Saturday and pickup Sunday afternoon. But due to the ferry system I was very late but luckily The company was very accommodating and were understanding of the traffic situations I sadly didn't reach the location until 8pm, happily They have someone at the location 24/7 to watch all the pups and help take my dog in for the night. They keep you updated with texts and photos of your doggy so you know they are safe and even have a live cam you can monitor your dog with. He received spoiled treats and a lot of exercise and socialization. He could play all day. Picking him up was smooth as well. They gave me a update of his night He passed out on the way home tail still wagging. Picking him up he looked happy and excited 10/10 would recommend and go again

Especially an anxious one on medication! I got one response in the two weeks our dog was boarded there. Arguably the worst situation, is that upon picking my dog up, she had hair loss and skin lesions under her belly and thigh and on her neck, one actively oozing!! She was filthy, her bedding looked like it was left outside for the 2 weeks! Maybe she was too! I am so upset that I left my dog there, after having to pay $1050, and now vet costs, I cannot recommend this place. We have been coming here for a few years, never again! Owners and facility should be shut down and inspected. The filth of the dog bed alone was alarming, much less my dog having a skin infection!
