Our Subaru Forester broke down at the beginning of our anniversary getaway on the North Sonoma…read morecoast. On a weekend, with no garages and few towing services open nearby, we were left stranded with no way to get around, including to the grocery store to buy food for our stay. We needed to get our car back to the dealership in Santa Rosa so we could get it fixed and arrange for a rental car. We spent hours on the phone with AAA trying to arrange a tow, only to have one company cancel on us and another pushing back their ETA by 5-6 hours and generally acting rude/annoyed. When we explained our dilemma to Santa Rosa Towing Service, they kindly agreed to see what they could do, even though our location was technically further away than the areas they technically serve. The dispatchers were friendly and communicative, and they were able to get a truck to us within two hours of calling. Martin, our tow truck driver was incredibly professional and friendly, and helped us feel at ease in a stressful situation.

Amazing tow = 5 Great tow = 4 Decent tow = 3 Barely decent = 2 Lies = 1 I have a 7 lbs service dog for severe panic attacks. One would assume getting ran off the road into construction cones and busting my radiator would fit this category. Apparently not Anthony... I was told my dog had to sit in the car being towed because people are allergic. That's ok, Doug is hypoallergenic so it's fine. NOPE, apparently that isn't a thing.... I have Doug's service papers on my person. Nope, not even a service dog card works. Dougie was shaking with his heart pounding when I finally got him out of the car. Not acceptable s

The kept me in the know and checked in with me periodically the whole procedure. It took about 40 minutes but I didn't mind at all. Extremely professional and kind guys who know their stuff and are happy to share their knowledge because they are concerned about giving you the best value for your money. Also they did a quick detail inside the car which I found very nice. My car's a wreck.

STAY AWAY from these guys. I came in due to my car making a nasty loud sound whenever going over 2k…read morerpms. They quoted me a whopping $3,500 to replace a cv axel and some bearings. I ended up renting a trailer and truck from uhaul and towed my car myself all the way down to my mechanic in San Jose who not only told me he can do it for 1.5k BUT my mechanic (shout out to Akins repair in san jose) told me that they didn't even mention that my transmission was the real problem. So in summary I paid these con men at ryans $250 for a diagnostic (absurd to begin with) they were going to charge me 3.5k for a 1.5k job and they didn't even find the problem so if I paid them these extortion prices thinking I could go back home I would've been told in the middle of repair that I would have to cough up another $5k for a transmission. Literally saved about 6 months worth of rent avoiding them. Update to owners response: please re read what i wrote. I was quoted 3,500 for the cv axel AND bearings not sure why you're saying i misheard when i asked very bluntly over the phone, " how much will it cost to get me back on the road to go home" your employee said 3,500 and reiterated it was for cv axel AND bearings. in addition to the overcharge for both parts and services the issue was misdiagnosed by your employees as i took my car to a transmission specialist and he insisted to take a ride with me so i can confirm the noise (a protocol your business should incorporate) and instantly recognized the sound to be either transmission or transfer case and is currently diagnosing it further for $150 ($100 cheaper than you.) my main mechanic (the one that would do what was recommended to me for less than half the price you quoted me) even told me that he doesn't know what you all were listening to because within 30 min of me dropping it off he recommended me the transmission specialist (he didnt charge me for this inspection fyi). And he agreed that my cv axel and bearings could use work but this noise had nothing to do with that. In other words its evident that If I went ahead with your business I would've spent thousands of dollars and still would not have been able to drive on the road and spend thousands more to fix the actual root of the problem. I still have the diagnosis and i can go ahead and publish how you managed to find everything but the root problem and compare it to the findings of the ongoing transmission inspection and if God willing if it's just a transfer case problem I'll update how my car is back on the road after towing it to the south bay and having two other mechanics look at it cost me less that dealing with you.

I texted her my drivers license insurance and all of my information. However, the company has refused to send me even the name of the driver much less a drivers license. Dealing with the entitled owner, she thinks she is above the law at the scene of an accident. You are required to exchange information. She refuses to even give me the name of the driver, hiding him and protecting him when he should have acknowledged me he didn't even roll down the window at the scene. I am shocked that the industry driver was not responsible enough to exchange information as required by law, but also the owner of the company is protecting him and refusing to exchange my information. I will be reporting this. Debbie is extremely entitled in the way that she spoke to me, especially when her driver hit my vehicle bossing me around telling me where to take my car and what she's going to do. If this is how they handle an incident on the road where this is their industry, I would be very alarmed on how they run their business.
