Excellent customer service in store. We were having issues with our hot tub water burning our eyes, we didn't know where to start so we went to see if they could help. The lady tested a sample of water we brought in and said our pH was high and how to fix it. She helped us with a list of chemicals we would need to get for switching from bromine to chlorine, and she described each of the processes/steps for daily and weekly maintenance the different chem. Rarely go out of my way to leave a poor review, but here we are. Hoping this helps someone avoid a similar situation at all costs. Doug treated us like an inconvenience right off the bat. Told us we had to do this and that. We agreed, politely, and did everything that we could to make his service as easy as possible. He mentioned our trees being difficult to work around in the past, and as new homeowners we were quick to get rid of the trees as they posed significant threats to our pool's overall health and made maintaining it difficult. Doug showed up unannounced while my partner worked from home and was on an important call. She sent a follow-up email and made several phone calls. Once tree service was taken care of, we reached out one final time to express our accommodations and that we were ready for his next steps. He refused business with us because we lacked communication. This did not add up considering he failed to communicate a house visit for a sample of our water. Very disgusted in how he treated potential clients who were willing to work enthusiastically beside him and his business. Don't go here unless you want to feel like you're not doing well or nearly enough. It's a shame I even have to give this business 1 star when they don't even deserve that. read more

I highly recommend Diamond Pool Service. Doug corrected a plumbing problem on my older pool by replacing pipes and the system is working perfectly. I am so happy with his attention to detail and expertise. Kendra in the office is so helpful. She has a wide range of books of every genre for sale in the corner of their shop. read more

I've been using Diamond Pool for 10 years. Doug and Kendra are pool pros and have helped me maintain, and improve, my pool. A new variable speed pump dramatically decreased my electric bill. Service to replace pool light was done, and the electrical junction box for the light was elevated to bring up to safety code. The owner Doug was rude to me over the phone and was going to charge me $20 for a used part that sells for $10 new. I've done business with them for over 15 years but this will by my last trip. First of all the guy who came is really mean. The problem is that we had our Jandy valuve broken and we asked them to fix it and the took more than a month to call us back to fix it and when they came they replaced the vaulve but it messed my the programming and the spa would turn on at random times and when we called them back to fix it they demanded us to pay first even though they broke our programming stuff so when he came back to fix he took our vaulve and we left with no valuve making the pool really dirty he said he would come back but it's been a couple of weeks now and we don't think he's coming. read more

Diamond Pool Service is by far the BEST pool company in this area. They are honest, don't try to sell you tons of expensive chemicals/products, follow through with their work, and they are beyond friendly. I used to go to Leslie's, was told I needed to buy hundreds of dollars in products, but I still got algae blooms and had mucky water. Then I was told to replace my equipment. At this point I researched Diamond Pools and made the switch. We did a water test, I switched to cheaper chlorine, and boom everything was perfect. I don't feel like I'm getting taken advantage of when I go to Diamond Pools. I love that I can trust them. We had a leak in our pool filter pipes and Doug came out and repaired it - while he was at my house he told me how to extend the life of my pool equipment. He has also given me advice on how to maintain my pool (for free). Then he connected me with a pool electrician to fix our broken pool light. His wife is probably the nicest person in Woodland. She is very helpful every time I visit the store. When we bought some new equipment she reminded us, probably ten times, to give her the receipts so she could file the rebates for us. Amazing. The only thing I would suggest changing is the communication on when the crew will come and repair our equipment. Some days their estimates are perfect, but others they forget to let us know the time they'll come by. Compared to other service companies, however, their communication is definitely above average. They also have a punch card for liquid chlorine bottles, buy 11 get the 12th free. Don't forget to ask for one! read more

As a recent new home owner that has a pool I was nervous about the upkeep and care. I called and made an apt at Diamond for some repairs that needed to be done to get the pool in working order. Doug the owner came out and solved my problems while giving me advice and instruction on how to keep the pool equipment and water working and healthy. I went into the shop to get the needed chemicals and met Dougs wife Kendra who also took the time to educate me on testing, chemicals and proper cleaning. Great small business service! read more

You just couldn't ask for a more serviceable, friendly, knowledgable and stocked pool and spa company than our local Diamond Pool Service on Main Street. I maintain my own older pool, and no matter whether it's Kendra doing a chemical test of my pool water, or Doug installing new, energy efficient pumps, everyone at Diamond is quick to help me out with their decades worth of experience. As a contractor in pool equipment, and as a provider of regular pool and spa maintenance, the amount of experience, great tips and good advice is encyclopedic! I can't recommend them highly enough. They've taken me from being afraid of taking care of my own pool to knowing that, with a little help and patience, I can do it on my own! While there are lots of really great, helpful service people in Woodland, the folks at Diamond Pool can't be beat! read more

These guys are very knowledgable. I was given advice from other pro people, and pool supply stores that was wrong. I brought in a sample of water and was given advice that cured my pool issues in a snap. I recently had a pump go bad and checked online for pricing, unfortunately the pump that i had was a POS! and yes, his price on a "better quality pump" was 2X the price. I researched other larger competitors and they were even more expensive than Diamond. Diamond installed the pump for a reasonable price, and in a very timely fashion, now my sweep is doing what it hasn't done for a couple of years. I actually thought that I had a defective sweep, it was that AO smith pump going bad for a longtime. Great advice, nice people, convenient. Unfortunately pools aren't cheap, but it's better to take care of a pool rather than to cure issues that may arise and get worse over time. There were other issues where he saved my money by re-habbing my filters several times. read more

I was pretty stressed about my pool filter breaking down when I went in there. Kindra, (sp?) Radka and Kimberly all three were AMAZING!!! My pool filter started leaking a LOT at the intake. It was when we were having triple digit weather (OF COURSE ) and I was desperate because all the ash was starting to come as well, here in Woodland. Doug, their expert repair/installation man was gone for a whole week. I took the part in and all three ladies helped me figure out what was wrong. They have a table set up under a shade awning out back, due to Covid. SUPER cool!!!! I must've called 12 times and went in person 3 times and they were patient, asked me questions about things I didn't even know were important!! All of them were VERY knowledgeable about pool filters and the pieces and parts that make them work! I really felt like they were on my side, Kindra was able to order a part for me that came in just a few days, even with covid slowing everything down.!!!! All in all, I would absolutely recommend Diamond Pool to everyone!!!!! read more

Went in on 07/08/2021 to purchase a case of acid and exchange my empty acid case + return 2 empty chlorine jugs. Also had water to test to compare their results to my home test kit. Results were similar. The counter person tested chlorine and ph and confirmed my numbers. Then I asked about hardness in the water after a pool drain and refill. An older man, maybe the owner overheard the conversation and told me to "make an appointment" to test the hardness, but did not want to give me a time to come back. Then he started yelling and cursing at me. Very agitated, told me I bring in water to be tested every time I come in. Then he told me he did not want my business and to go to True Value. I was in his shop maybe twice this summer buying chemicals and a large expensive O ring for my filter, but don't recall ever taking in water to be tested. I could have bought the O ring on line and saved 30-40%, but I try to support local business. Staying calm, I told him he must have me mixed up with someone else. Continuing to yell, he said "I know who your are!! I don't want your business!! I left and will not go back. I did nothing to provoke him. This person has NO personal service skills and I would not recommend Diamond Pool Service unless you want to be abused as a customer. read more

Diamond Pool "Service" is a thing of the past. I was with them for several years and the "Service" was spotty On & Off. Every few weeks there would be New people "Servicing"our pool (which i wasn't wild about) and every time I would have to instruct them that there was 2 filter baskets that needed to be emptied or to please shut the gate etc. There's several gallon size filters that also needs dumping weekly. The latest happening was my large filter tank showed Zero Pressure and the pump was running! I went to the small filter container and it was Completely Packed Tight with debri! It had to have been 3 or 4 months or more since it was emptied! Here again, New faces showing up to "Service" the pool & No instructions given to them! I called the office and it went to voice mail. Two days later I called (again during business hours) and got the recorder. 3 days later again a new employee. Doug calls in a upset tone and says I don't know what filter I was talking about. I explained it to him and I told him it hadn't been cleaned in months...he then said "That's fine...get another Pool "Service" company!! They used to be ok but like I said, it was spotty "Service" and they've continued to go downhill. Read T.K. or Diana's post below.
