Black opalescent polish applied by KIm -gorgeous!
    Ella G.

Kim was great gave me exactly what I wanted. Showed me a polish I had never seen that is black with opalescent glitter in it - gorgeous. She took her time and worked like a real perfectionist. I got short acrylics. Price was reasonable for what I had done. I couldn't be happier.

    Excuse the random ink stain...

Hard to give this nail salon even 1 star. I arrived near the end of the day and everyone was very rude. To top it off they did a poor job.

I'm going to try and be as constructive as possible, but this place broke my heart three years ago…read morewhen I used their services for my wedding. For my bridesmaids, I decided to pay for them to either get their hair or makeup done at this place, in addition to my appointments that week for a manicure, pedicure, underarm wax, makeup, and hair style (with practice run several months before). Needless to say, the week of my wedding, I spent quite a bit of money at this place. QUITE a bit. For the most part, they did what I asked them to do. I was very happy with my manicure and pedicure that week. They did a really nice job, the polish lasted nicely, and both girls were cheerful and sociable when I came in, but the hairstylist who worked on my wedding hairstyle almost made it all not worth it. The week of my wedding she practically demanded that I come in the night before my big day to have my hair straightened in anticipation of having it styled the next day. She was extremely aggressive and rude about this part of the process, insisting it be done--and at my own cost! My hair is very, very curly, coarse, thick, and at the time was very long, however, it will straighten perfectly fine when an iron is used on it. This hairstylist treated me as if I was deformed or handicapped in some way, simply because I have extremely curly hair. She acted as if I had some kind of defect that needed to be corrected, and it was MY fault my hair was the way it was. I was very busy and had my rehearsal dinner this day, so I declined to have it straightened, and she was rude about my polite refusal, implying that my hair might not get styled correctly--and we'd already practiced my hairstyle before...with absolutely no problems! I couldn't believe she wanted me to come in--I was completely baffled! Her attitude was extremely unhelpful during an already somewhat-stressful week.** The plan going into my wedding day was that my girls and I were going to be able to spend the day at the spa, getting ready and getting our hair and makeup done, and stay there before it was time to go to the ceremony. We were able to get dressed, but after all of the work was done by the staff, my hairstylist (who practically made a scene by insisting three people straighten my hair that morning), started to get antsy and began edging us out of the establishment. We were supposed to be able to stay until a certain agreed-upon hour, and the girl became so rude she pretty much kicked us out 90 minutes prior to the originally-agreed-time! My girls and I had to re-arrange for our ride from the spa to the ceremony site, and instead of having time to relax and hang out with my best friends on this beautiful day, this hairstylist just complained about wanting to go home and completely stressed me out. On my wedding day. She made me really sad. I've wanted a number of times to write to the establishment and express my disappointment, but after my wedding, life kind of got in the way and I tried to let it go. But my advice to other people who want to try this place out, go ahead for a mani-pedi, but make sure you speak with the owner, and work out all of the specifics completely if you're planning a special day that could be ruined by someone else's bad attitude--that stylist sure made part of mine sour! ** Oh, and my hair turned out fine--exactly like the practice style. I'm really glad I didn't spend an extra $40 giving in to the ridiculous straightening demands.

I have been there four times…read more -The first time I went I was thrilled with my hair, although they had got me in a little late. I had my hair done by Allie. -The second time I went there, I wanted to make my dark brown hair blonde. I understood the risk involved with this and that it often turns orange, rather than blonde. The woman was taking the bleach off and kept trying to convince me that my hair was blonde. She guilt tripped me into giving up and going home continually talking to her daughter on the phone and telling us how she will have to cancel her plans for the night because of us. I went home thinking it may not have looked that bad. I got home and bawled because my hair looked so horrible and was fried. I called and got in the next day, expected them to be understanding they, instead, gave me dirty looks and I could here them talking and complaining about me in the waiting area. She fixed my hair but I could feel the tension. -The third time I went I was on a schedule. I had participated in Edinboro's homecoming parade and had my schools homecoming dance that night, so I had gone to get my hair done. I waited there for an hour and a half. I sat there and watched as a girl who was on the homecoming court for her SENIOR year. She had to go do it herself. I finally got in there and was set up with a blonde girl. It was a relatively simple hair style. Marilyn Monroe curls. She was completely incompetent. I almost had to guide her through how to do my hair. (telling her what curling irons to use and to tease and spray my hair so it would stay). I ended up being late for the plans I had made with my friends, so I was not in my dress or make up when they arrived to my house. -The fourth time was the most recent time for prom. I had called a month before and scheduled my appointment with Allie. I arrived and they didn't get to me until 12 minutes after I had scheduled my appointment. I was in the gift shop looking at scarves and the girl who I had to walk through my appointment the last time came up to me and told me that we had an appointment scheduled. I told her that that was not the case and that I had requested Allie. Allie was giving someone a facial and she had me waiting for a half hour to get my hair done. I scheduled earlier because of how they screwed up my plans for homecoming. After waiting a half hour they all seemed quite snobby and not very friendly. My hair looked wonderful and stayed up well for the rest of the night. I had my extensions curled in my hair. I have just recently washed my extensions and put them back in and I find that she completely fried my hair on the ends and ruined my extensions. All in all this place in over priced and they do not respect the customer. I do not plan on going there ever again.

Not Even at BLISS SPA in THE W. Even when I go to a clean environment like Panache. My daughter and I don't spend that much and that's with dip. And they offer beverages. And the environment is relaxing. I didn't go because we couldn't keep our scheduled appointments together Never ever again. I doubt they will last through the next 2 weeks by the end of my vacation. About half of the nails and toe nails are bubbled.(they didn't last) She literally told me how much it was going to be and I swear when I finished she upped the price $100. A true lesson for me. Never Ever go anywhere there's no prices listed on the wall on line or in a pamphlet. TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED! Can someone say DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH!!! Oh they didn't cut the nails down or cut cuticles either. Incomplete & unprofessional. Money (yours) over customer service. I had to go back 2 days later just so they could trim down my toenails. How'd I get a pedicure without a trim or cuticles done. The owner did my pedi on the phone with my feet under her desk at an angle hence the bulge/pool of color at bottom. Argue about the cost being correct all you want... but the QUALITY or lack there of does not match up w/the cost. Had I got what I paid for I would have never said a thing! STRAIGHT CROOKS!
