I was given me multiple options and great suggestions. I ended up going with dyeing my hair a darker color to try to mask the red. She spent a lot of time taking tiny sections so that the color would be even and perfect. It turned out beautiful - my hair feels healthier and the color is gorgeous. She also gave me samples of some of their product so I can decide if I want to purchase. The facility is beautiful and everyone I spoke with was very welcoming. The price was very good, especially considering all the work that went into my hair. I will definitely be going back to Beauty Bar for any of my hair care needs!

Title: Very Disappointing Birthday Experience - Felt Discriminated & Poor Service…read more 1 Star I am writing this with a very heavy heart. My son gifted me a spa treatment for my birthday yesterday. My daughter-in-law Samantha and I went together. From the beginning, the difference in treatment was very obvious and hurtful. My daughter-in-law is White American and she was given their best nail artist. I am a dark-skinned Indian older woman and I was assigned to a trainee who clearly did not know what she was doing. It felt like we were treated differently based on our skin color. My entire service was poorly done: *For my pedicure:* The lady cut my toe cuticle and it was bleeding. She used a very bad quality nail paint. Even after 4 coats, the color looks patchy and uneven. She skipped major parts of the spa package my son paid for - no deep tissue massage, no hot-stone massage, and no exfoliation for my legs. *For my manicure:* I very clearly told her at the start to shape my nails in a U-shape (round). She still made them very pointy and sharp. I am not a picky person at all, but this was the worst spa treatment I have ever had. She ruined my birthday gift, wasted my son's hard-earned money, and ruined my hand and toe nails. I left feeling hurt and disappointed. I will be uploading pictures of my nails. Please think twice before booking here.

Victoria who was my stylist…read morecharged me $183 for my hair to get a small touch up on my brown roots and she put toner in the bottom where it is blonde since I have a "balayage" and she said it was blonde enough. She has done my hair in the past where she turned it into a balayage for $183 and at the time I was fine with that amount. But this time just getting it BARELY touched up and she charged me the same amount? Crazy! Victoria took me as an appointment at last minute when I called in and asked for a touch up and to cut half an inch off of my hair. She was more than willing which I thought was great and accommodating. She said she has a cancellation last minute. Turns out she canceled the appointment herself all because she didn't feel like doing this woman's hair anymore. She claims the woman was late but the woman came in and showed her appointment card that was the time she said and Victoria still wouldn't take her. Another two people came in for their appointments stating they were at 1:30 and she said very rudely that the appointments were at 2:30 and the customers had their texts showing their appointment reminders for 1:30 but they were sweet and said they would come back at 2:30 but Victoria practically wouldn't let them even talk and kept saying "you guys just sit down and I'll take you right now I just need a few minutes to finish her (me) up". So as she did the two clients hair I'm sitting there for almost an hour and a half. Mind you I didn't even have anything to have sit in that long so it was pretty ridiculous. When I was finished she told me the amount it cost and I told her I wasn't paying that much for a little brown hair dye and for her to tone my blonde hair. She didn't bleach it. It was already blonde. And my roots were already brown. I paid her 160 and left. Her boss threatened to call the police on me if I didn't pay the 23 dollars. So I came in paid the rest but I'll never go back to that salon again. Absolutely ridiculous and expensive for no reason!

About half of the nails and toe nails are bubbled.(they didn't last) She literally told me how much it was going to be and I swear when I finished she upped the price $100. A true lesson for me. Never Ever go anywhere there's no prices listed on the wall on line or in a pamphlet. TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED! Can someone say DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH!!!
