okay so-- i don't get my nails done regularly since my tech retired cus i have trust issues with that,, but let me tell you !!!!! i've been here just one other time and they are so so good! the first time i went my nails stayed on for a good while & didn't hurt or give me any problems to soak off when i removed them at home. when i went yesterday i had an appointment at 6:00 (they close at 7 on wednesday) and my techs were gentle with my cuticles, cleaned up nicely, took their time shaping, were so considerate with the electric nail file and just based it perfectly. i showed a more complicated design (so it did take a while longer than usual) and she PERFECTED it. i mean like, it looks better than the original inspiration photo. my nail tech yesterday took her time and stayed a little after close just to finish them & let them dry. i think i'll only be coming here from now on Services Acrylic nails Requested style baby pink and baby blue cloudy background with silver sky design details Cleanliness as they were closing the one woman was sweeping, mopping, washing her hands, wiping everything down next to me and behind me. super impressed, not a mark on the wall even read more

Excellent work. Always ask if you're a " walk-in" how long of a wait before they can take you between their regular customer's appointments. read more

Though I liked the nails that I ended up with, the waiting experience was awful and they kept taking people over me that walked in when I had an appointment. I waited for over two hours for them to start my nails. And they kept making appointments when they were already booked with like ten people waiting. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because their customers seemed like they knew the nail techs and that they had good relationships which means they have people coming back. But I hate when businesses make people wait and bite off more than they can chew. Like stop booking people when your lobby is overflowing and you have only three people doing nails. read more

So rude, 0 patience, scolded me for showing a picture of what I wanted and for asking for them shorter. Won't be back.

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience here last week. The technician used a nail drill to aggressively remove polish from my toenails without soaking them first, or using acetone to take off the polish. Almost immediately, my toenails were burning and painful. In no time, he drilled my nails down to almost nothing, so I ended the appointment. One week later, my nails are paper thin & have blood blisters beneath them, both of which will take a while to heal. The most aggravating part was the unapologetic staff who appeared to care less about my discomfort, and took no responsibility for their actions. read more

This is my 2nd time at this place. Both times it was good. The lady who did my pedi yesterday did a great job. I'd definitely go back.

Very busy salon. Made a same day appointment for mani/pedi with my sister. My advice is if you don't have a lot of extra time, I'd suggest another salon. The staff was definitely hard working and moving quickly (but still giving each customer the attention they deserved), but I think they overbook their time slots. My pedi was nice, I'm happy with the outcome. Lee did my manicure and gave my nails so much detailed attention- probably the best nail shaping I've ever received. Overall I would recommend, but again, on a day you're not on a tight schedule. read more

They are AMAZING!!! I will definitely be a returning customer. I got the ultimate deluxe. Hot stone massage and a deluxe pedi it was absolutely amazing! read more

The staff was unpleasant to the point of being rude. Even though I had an appointment, walk-ins were taken ahead of me. I got a regular pedi and a gel mani. The polish for the mani popped off in less than 24 hours and they refused to fix it. I won't be going back. read more

I have nothing bad to say about V nails. I went in to get a dip manicure and I had a lady named (Lynn) I believe . She was amazing . I've had my nails done at a couple different salons and v nails by far does the best work for a great price! I would recommend v nails to anyone! I always call and make an appointment and have never had a problem . 10/10 would recommend. read more

Made an appointment 4 days ago. Appointment was for 12:30 and I arrived early. No one greeted me or offered to have me look at colors. 15 mins past my scheduled time, I finally asked to have my feet soaked. As of 45 mins past my appointment, I still have yet to have my pedi started. I'm leaving and do not plan to come back. Not one person has acknowledged the delay etc. came in with 2 other friends for a birthday present. Will never go back. read more

I decided on saturday to get a pedicure and a manicure cause who doesn't need self care. Gizelle and I both got the same person to do our pedicures and he had the water extremely hot for me to the point my feet were very red. when he was actually trying to trim my cuticle he jammed the sharp edge and cut a part of my skin off which cause an ingrown toe nail in general the pedicure looks not that good but i wasn't mad about that at the time but the fact my toe is now infected and ingrown makes me upset. the same man did my manicure. He rushed while doing it. there was big globs of the top coat left on the sides of my nails and underneath them. he made my hands extremely dry and didn't wait for them to dry before putting more stuff over it. truly disappointed. overall the nails looked very poorly done read more

Actually no point in making an appointment with this place. Made an appointment at 3 and sat there for 30 minute. They also acknowledged my appointment and remembered what I wanted. Three people came in after me and got seated before me, so I left. Go to this place if you genuinely have no where to be for maybe 3 hours. I was very excited to go because I heard nothing but great things but I was very disappointed. read more

Made an appt the day before for first thing in the morning. They didn't ask my name but I gave it anyways. I arrived before opening hours and there were already 7 customers ahead of me and I waited 30 minutes. Technician did not speak to me or introduce himself. He asked what pedi I wanted I chose the basic $30 so as he is doing the pedi he puts lotion on my legs even though I said prior that I don't need it. And lotion later and the pounding etc. when I check out I am charged for Deluxe. Plus side -His technique was skilled. 12 clients / 3 technicians on a Saturday morning 2 stars for their trickery read more

They did a great job BUT she did my colors backwards and it looks like I only have one nail painted on each hand. I tried to tell her but she just kept going. So now I'll have to pay to get them redone, when I can find time. read more

Nail salons are so hit and miss. This is by far the best mani/pedi I have had in a long time. Jason did my nails and was AWESOME. It is extremely clean and sanitary. I would highly recommend it and wish I had found it sooner! I didn't have to wait at all, however, there were people coming in who had appointments and were waiting like 15 minutes. read more

Not good customer service. Lady doing my nails told me she couldn't do what I wanted and when I asked her to do something else instead I was talked to in a very rude and aggressive tone. Third time trying to make an appointment with them. It's completely POINTLESS to make an appointment because you won't be seen at your appointment time anyways. I was waiting over 2 hours past the time I made an appointment for just a fill. Ridiculous. Mediocre work. read more

AWESOME!! Not sure what my pedicure was called but it was awesome... Paraffin wax, hot stones, oil massage... Very top notch. From Arizona, this pedicure would have cost at least $20 more and would not have been as thorough. Next time I visit I will definitely be back!! read more

Love this place! I got a regular gel mani and it lasted a whole month!!! With no chipping. Also- very clean and very nice staff.

I had a rough go at V Nails my first time visiting. An older lady did my pedicure and it took about 2-2.5hrs. It was bad. Nail polish got spilled everywhere, my toes were bleeding because she went too deep on my cuticles, and it left me extremely frustrated and disappointed. Almost to the point I didn't go back. But when I left that evening without getting my manicure because I'd already been there way past what I'd expected, the owner gave me 50% off and swore she'd make it right the next time I came in. A couple weeks later, I took a chance again. I didn't expect them to remember me, but they did and I kid you not, best gel manicure I've gotten outside of Pittsburgh and they gave me a discount again for the fiasco with my pedicure. I live 45 minutes away and am happy to drive to Erie for them. I just went again last night and again I'm so very happy with my manicure. Its $25 for a gel manicure, they're the best, they're friendly and nice to be around, the salon is clean and honestly probably the most aesthetically pleasing I've been to, and it lasts so don't be stingy with your tip. It would cost me $40 where I'm at without tip so I usually tip $10-$15 at V. They're so very worth every penny. I'll never go anywhere else unless I'm in a pinch. read more

Always have to wait even with appointment. My mom was there for 3 hours for a mani only. They only have a few colors for dip nails and they are not painted on sticks. The color of the powder has to be painted to get the true sense of the color . Also, they don't paint all the way to the cuticle which means the manicure doesn't last as long. read more

I was very disappointed with my gel manicure. My cuticles were pushed back way too far, the women who was doing my nails made 7 out of my ten fingers bleed. She was cutting my health nail bed and not my cuticle. I expressed that I wasn't crazy about the color I had chosen but she did not offer to let me change color after doing one nail. It has been a couple of days since my appointment and my nail beds are still red, inflamed, and tender to the touch, with dry blood and scans still present. I will not be going back there. read more

3 of us had appointments for 10:30am for pedicures. They did not have enough people working to take me. After 45 min wait of sitting in the pedicure chair, and they are almost done and I haven't even started. I read good reviews about this place but I'd give them one star. Don't bother to make appointments because apparently they don't really honor them. read more

Horrible place to do nails here. My nails look horrible. The people were mean! Never go here again!!!

I went here for the first time with my friend yesterday and we were both disappointed in our experience. Neither of us got the right color of the dip (maybe the swatches are wrong?), and they completely damaged around my nails. I even began to bleed while there, and they did not even acknowledge it. I almost went back to get them fixed, but I didn't want them to damage my skin/nails anymore. Don't waste your money here. read more

Frustrating, I have gone there 3 times this year and every time I was disappointed, they got the color wrong, they didn't really shape the nail as coffin as I would've liked, once I called and set up an appointment and sat there for an hour until I was served and I was mad because I had been there so long and the lady rushed my nails and filed so hard my skin spilt, I'm literally unsatisfied every time I leave. read more
