Though I liked the nails that I ended up with, the waiting experience was awful and they kept taking people over me that walked in when I had an appointment. I waited for over two hours for them to start my nails. And they kept making appointments when they were already booked with like ten people waiting. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because their customers seemed like they knew the nail techs and that they had good relationships which means they have people coming back. But I hate when businesses make people wait and bite off more than they can chew. Like stop booking people when your lobby is overflowing and you have only three people doing nails. read more

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience here last week. The technician used a nail drill to aggressively remove polish from my toenails without soaking them first, or using acetone to take off the polish. Almost immediately, my toenails were burning and painful. In no time, he drilled my nails down to almost nothing, so I ended the appointment. One week later, my nails are paper thin & have blood blisters beneath them, both of which will take a while to heal. The most aggravating part was the unapologetic staff who appeared to care less about my discomfort, and took no responsibility for their actions. read more

Very busy salon. Made a same day appointment for mani/pedi with my sister. My advice is if you don't have a lot of extra time, I'd suggest another salon. The staff was definitely hard working and moving quickly (but still giving each customer the attention they deserved), but I think they overbook their time slots. My pedi was nice, I'm happy with the outcome. Lee did my manicure and gave my nails so much detailed attention- probably the best nail shaping I've ever received. The staff was unpleasant to the point of being rude. Even though I had an appointment, walk-ins were taken ahead of me. I got a regular pedi and a gel mani. The polish for the mani popped off in less than 24 hours and they refused to fix it. I won't be going back. read more

I decided on saturday to get a pedicure and a manicure cause who doesn't need self care. Gizelle and I both got the same person to do our pedicures and he had the water extremely hot for me to the point my feet were very red. when he was actually trying to trim my cuticle he jammed the sharp edge and cut a part of my skin off which cause an ingrown toe nail in general the pedicure looks not that good but i wasn't mad about that at the time but the fact my toe is now infected and ingrown makes me upset. the same man did my manicure. He rushed while doing it. there was big globs of the top coat left on the sides of my nails and underneath them. he made my hands extremely dry and didn't wait for them to dry before putting more stuff over it. truly disappointed. overall the nails looked very poorly done read more

Actually no point in making an appointment with this place. Made an appointment at 3 and sat there for 30 minute. They also acknowledged my appointment and remembered what I wanted. Three people came in after me and got seated before me, so I left. Go to this place if you genuinely have no where to be for maybe 3 hours. I arrived before opening hours and there were already 7 customers ahead of me and I waited 30 minutes. Technician did not speak to me or introduce himself. He asked what pedi I wanted I chose the basic $30 so as he is doing the pedi he puts lotion on my legs even though I said prior that I don't need it. And lotion later and the pounding etc. when I check out I am charged for Deluxe. Nail salons are so hit and miss. This is by far the best mani/pedi I have had in a long time. Jason did my nails and was AWESOME. It is extremely clean and sanitary. Always have to wait even with appointment. My mom was there for 3 hours for a mani only. They only have a few colors for dip nails and they are not painted on sticks. The color of the powder has to be painted to get the true sense of the color . Also, they don't paint all the way to the cuticle which means the manicure doesn't last as long. read more

I had a rough go at V Nails my first time visiting. An older lady did my pedicure and it took about 2-2.5hrs. It was bad. Nail polish got spilled everywhere, my toes were bleeding because she went too deep on my cuticles, and it left me extremely frustrated and disappointed. Almost to the point I didn't go back. But when I left that evening without getting my manicure because I'd already been there way past what I'd expected, the owner gave me 50% off and swore she'd make it right the next time I came in. A couple weeks later, I took a chance again. I didn't expect them to remember me, but they did and I kid you not, best gel manicure I've gotten outside of Pittsburgh and they gave me a discount again for the fiasco with my pedicure. I live 45 minutes away and am happy to drive to Erie for them. I just went again last night and again I'm so very happy with my manicure. Its $25 for a gel manicure, they're the best, they're friendly and nice to be around, the salon is clean and honestly probably the most aesthetically pleasing I've been to, and it lasts so don't be stingy with your tip. It would cost me $40 where I'm at without tip so I usually tip $10-$15 at V. They're so very worth every penny. I'll never go anywhere else unless I'm in a pinch. read more

I was very disappointed with my gel manicure. My cuticles were pushed back way too far, the women who was doing my nails made 7 out of my ten fingers bleed. She was cutting my health nail bed and not my cuticle. I expressed that I wasn't crazy about the color I had chosen but she did not offer to let me change color after doing one nail. It has been a couple of days since my appointment and my nail beds are still red, inflamed, and tender to the touch, with dry blood and scans still present. I will not be going back there. read more
