Best massage I have ever gotten during a pedicure! These ladies were super nice. The place seemed like every other typical nail place. I will say that the massage chairs are a little confusing to use but I made it work. read more

Consistently excellent. I've tried 2 other salons, only to be disappointed. Their leg/feet massages are the best! Always pleased with their work! read more

I'm not sure why the services and attitude at this salon has changed. I had been a steady customer for over a decade. The owner and her husband have become rude and the husband does very poor work. I'm more than happy to have switched to an English speaking salon where im treated with respect and professionalism... Never again Hot Nails!!!! read more

Today I went to Hot Nails. I walked in with my client who has an intellectual disability. Hot nails had no customers, and there was two employees working. When we walked in we were immediately asked to leave the establishment and come back later as they "had appointments coming. " They did not ask what service we needed and no customers arrived even after we left the establishment 10-15 minutes later as we sat in the car calling other nail salons. That was very frustrating to witness that they did not want to service is. My own experiences with nail shops is that they want your business and will ask you to wait 30 minutes at times after current appointments just to keep the business flowing. My client did take her business elsewhere and was able to get her nails painted within a 15 minute time frame. I just pray Hot nails understands that is not a respectable approach to handling business nor does it leave a great taste in my mouth regarding how they treat people that are different from them. read more

I am a male and need a pedicure for a nail condition. I am self conscious about my nails and have found in Hot Nails a place where I can feel more comfortable in getting them done. Lived here for about 3 years now and have struggled to find a place to get a mani pedi and feel like I didn't pay my mortgage...coming from the west coast it's hard to believe the costs ...does a nice job got the price and they are fair; easy to get in and very welcoming over the years read more

They always do a wonderful job with my pedicure and manicure, the people are so friendly and spend so much time pampering me. I always enjoy my time there and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of having there nails done. read more

HORRIBLE! Rude Service! Do not go to this salon. I would give this place zero stars if I could! The employees here are rude and this place is unhygienic! I called ahead and went here to get a pedicure. Between me sitting down in the chair, and the man who was my pedicurist, started to paint my nails it had only been 10 minutes. Take my word that this was the quickest and the most disgusting pedicure I've ever gotten. This man was so rude I've never encountered service like this! He was yelling at me when I asked if they had a callus remover gel or machine. The hygiene practiced here is so poor, He used a hot towel on my feet and legs and then wiped the tub with that same towel and then continued to use that same exact towel to wipe my feet! Absolutely gross! He didn't even cut my cuticles, when I asked him to do so he was being overly aggressive in his tone and demeanor. When I tried adjusting the hems of my pants to bring them down lower from my knee, he grabbed the other hem and yanked them down aggressively. That was my last straw, after that I told him that I didn't want him to continue the pedicure. He then slammed the foam slippers on the floor in front of me and spoke rubbish. I had had enough of his attitude and disrespectful tone! he hadn't even painted my nails when I refused any further service. I let the lady in the front register know about how unprofessional her employee was. She apologized but dismissed my complaints not even listening fully to what I had just experienced, leading me to think that she's heard these complaints before! Bottom line is: Disrespectful employees, unhygienic services, gross establishment. Go elsewhere not here! They don't deserve your business! read more

I stopped here completely at random after leaving the beach at Presque Isle. It was right off the main road. I walked in and was taken right away for a pedicure. I got there at the perfect time because I just missed their busy morning. Their massage chairs were great. I really enjoyed my pedicure and most likely will stop back in on my next trip there. read more

Absolutely love this place . I have went to multiple nail salons and Hot Nails is the only place I will go to . Prices are good for the service they provide . Everyone is very friendly and they do a wonderful job ! read more

We had a horrible experience at Neon Nails and saw Hot nails around the corner, they took 3 of us for pedicures and 1 manicure without an appointment and no wait. They were wonderful. They even performed the manicure at the the pedicure station. In addition, they did a wonderful job with an eyebrow wax. It is great to get all of the necessities in one place with GREAT service. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! read more

Went to get acrylics off and just gel polish on. As soon as I sit down the tech begins ripping off my nails without soaking them first. It hurt so bad because he was ripping off my real nails with it. Such a painful experience I had to tell him to stop and left. If I would have stayed he would have applied gel polish over the areas that were bleeding in my nail bed and it could have caused infection. Then he told me it was my fault because my nails were "thin". Worst experience ever, I will not be returning and urge others to go elsewhere. My nails are completely ruined and there's no way I can get them done anytime soon read more

I had an amazing experience. From the time i stepped in I was greeted. Kathy did my nails and was very attentive. She made sure she did everything correctly and she took her time. I highly recommend this nail salon. read more

Hot Nails - Dip manicure! - Nail Salons Near Me - Erie, Pennsylvania

They do an amazing job and the price is just right! I love my nails every time I go! Thank you for being awesome!

I am giving Hot Nails one star only because I did leave with acrylic nails. The woman was impatient and aggressive and my fingers were bleeding by the time she was done. Whether or not this is normal I don't know. I am also hoping to God that her tools were clean, as I hope my fingers don't end up infected. She also didn't seem to understand what I was asking for so, ultimately, they didn't end up looking as I had wanted and described. I will not be going back. read more

I decided today was "treat myself day" and looking at my nasty feet I decided my toes needed a pedicure if I was going to wear flip flops. Hot Nails was close and I decided I would give them a go. A gentleman by the name of Kenny did my pedicure. I was originally going to read my book but he was fun to talk to! I really enjoyed talking to him as he buffed and polished my Hobbit feet. Im one of those people that doesn't really chat when getting mani/pedi. Kenny was easy to talk to. We did talk about food--which I love to talk about. I did up allowing the lady working with him to talk me into a matching. Kenny did an excellent job on both my feet and hands. I will surely be back and asking for him. So if you are looking for a place that does walk in mani/pedis Hot Nails is the place and ask for Kenny!!! *just a side note when I get my nails done I figure life is too short for blah colors. Go bright! Get your sparkle on!! read more

Under new management! Excellent massage on legs and feet and you are made to feel very important!

Hot nails is GROSS. Not only is it dirty inside, but the nail polishes are old and dried up. They do a terrible job- when I told them how bad it looked they couldn't seem figure out what I meant. It honestly looked like my little sister did my nails. read more

I have to agree with Kassie. I got a pedicure and a manicure here and both times the polish started peeling off really soon.In the case of my gel manicure, it started peeling off after one day! They charge more for a gel manicure than any other place in town, too. Definitely confirm prices beforehand--I felt I was overcharged both times. I also don't like how they asked me for referrals before the service even finished. Needless to say, I will not being giving any because I am never going back! read more

Best experience I have had in the Erie area by far!! I got a gel mani pedi and the results were absolutely flawless!! My new regular spot!!

Not very good.... we got gel nails before going to Paris.....our nails were chipped and off before we got on our airplane. The pedicure was better- great massage and the polish was good! read more

I really like this place. It's not as dirty as Kassie C. described it. In fact, it's cleaner than most places I've been to. They sterilize all their instruments and the shop is not crammed like most other places. One can move around easily without bumping into other people or tables. They have a huge range of selection from OPI polishes. Some of the polishes are old but most of them are pretty new. Maybe Kassie picked out the wrong polish. Their service is great. My nails would break and lift at other places but I could go for almost a month without getting a fill and wouldn't even have one broken nail. The most important thing, though, is that my nails look completely natural, not a fake lump like the normal acrylic nails. I would have people asking me how I grew my nails so well. As for the pedicures, they do a superb job! I would highly recommend it. Most salons only give a basic clean up but these girls clean my cuticles and ingrowns very well. They also spend extra time scrubbing my callused feet. The pedicure is a bit more expensive than the average salon but the price is worth it and I dont have to come back for another month, whereas I need to keep it up every two weeks at other salons. They're not a fancy luxury spa but the quality of the work is higher than most places. If I wanted luxury, I would go to Coventina, which charges an arm and a leg for a simple pedicure. These girls are experienced and honest and aren't out to get your money. Their prices are reasonable and the materials they use are high quality. If you're looking for a place that won't break your bank but has long-lasting effect, I would highly recommend this salon. read more

I was unable to properly remove the powder dip manicure I had on my nails leaving them damaged and thin. I went to Hot Nails to get a gel manicure and a pedicure because my normal manicurist was unavailable to fit me in, and I needed to have something on my nails because they were feeling frail. Upon arriving to Hot Nails, I chose my color for the gel manicure, and was quickly told that the color (a white OPI) was not good for gel because I have ridges in my nails. I have had dozens of white gel manicures before at other places that all look very nice and for some reason they refused. That should have been the red flag, but I was already in the door and decided to stay. I chose a pretty salmon color instead. I asked specifically to not buff my nails a lot since they are already paper thin, and he couldn't understand what I was saying and continued to do it until I audibly was in pain. He then begins filing.. I asked for square, he starts rounding them. I repeatedly said that I prefer square, and did not receive square shaped nails. He then proceeds to not entirely take off the red nail polish color I had on. There was red all over my nails as he began the gel manicure. My friends 3 year old child can stay in the lines better than he did on my nails. He slopped the coats on my nails, and my hands were put in the light to cure. Once completed, he put a pump of lotion on his hands and began squeezing my arm awkwardly and never once got any lotion on my hands. At this point I am completely flustered and unsatisfied. I really didn't want to stay for the pedicure but looking down at my feet I knew they needed one. I decide to just suck it up because it was going to be normal polish. Again i chose the color i wanted, and was told it was too light. This was my breaking point. I told them I no longer wanted service from them and wanted to pay and leave. I did not leave a tip, and am actually very mad at myself for paying this establishment any of my hard earned money, because the cleanliness, worth ethic, overall experience was so far less than par, I hope that everyone who stumbles on this review listens and does not go and waste their money. They have no business calling themselves a nail salon, and no business charging any money for what they "do." read more

I agree. Gross! I could have saved the money and done a better job myself. They didn't even have foam flip-flops. I had to walk barefoot across a dirty carpeted floor to the area where they wanted you to sit and dry. Not to mention it was really over priced. read more
