I am new to Erie and I feel extremely lucky to have found Sacred Piercing. I went in this past weekend to get my nose re pierced FOR THE 3RD TIME(smh) but I promise and swear up and down this has been my best piercing experience yet. From the moment I walked in the door to walking out I have nothing but great things to say. The service that is offered here you wont find anywhere else. I'm from a big city and let me tell you first hand A PERCING SHOP IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE THAN GOING TO A TATTOO SHOP THAT DOES PERICINGS. A huge jewelry selection to choose from and all top grade. I spent a good 20 minutes choosing a ring, I was overwhelmed by the collection they sold & totally unprepared. The ladies at the front were super cool and helped me a lot with making my decision. Although I wanted a higher priced item, I went with something small until my nose healed, and I didnt budget for an 18 kt ring. Even still, I didnt feel any difference in treatment. They made me feel good about my final choice and were very patient and helpful. Missy did my piercing and made me feel right at home. Very down to earth lady with awesome spirit. Missy was very honest and answered any question I had. We had a full conversation throughout the process and I was actually a little bummed the process went so quick as I was really enjoying my visit (lol). The shop is unique and the artwork through the shop is awesome and all local. SUPER SUPER CLEAN TOO! I also love that Sacred Piercing will do custom jewelry for those who need special sizes. I was also told that if I see something I like online I can call them and they will order it for me to buy if they do not have it in store which is super cool because some online shops lie about the quality of jewelry and you end up in a crappy situation. (Never again) Also, the aftercare will include everything you need. The only thing you will have to supply (depending on what you get) is a gallon of distilled water and that's not even a dollar at the grocery store. I've been to many places that just give you a sheet of paper and send you out the door but not here. They really care about you and your healing process. I can go on, and on, and on, and on about how great my time was here. I was super excited to share my experience and encourage others to not go anywhere else. A couple weeks prior I had gotten my ears pierced somewhere and my ear essentially swallowed the stud. I went to this shop hoping they could help get the ear ring out from inside my ear. Everyone was really nice and they thankfully got the ear ring out. The process wasn't too painful and they recommended different size pole lengths that were suitable for my ear lobes. Last year I was visiting Erie when I lost my tragus earring, and after looking for a place in the Millcreek mall to replace it, one of the vendors suggested I check out Sacred Piercing. I'm very glad I did. Not only do they have a beautiful selection of body jewelry, but their staff shows the utmost professionalism and friendliness. Jocelyn took me in back to do a custom fitting and I was in and out within minutes with a beautiful new piece of jewelry. Fast forward to yesterday; it was my last day in Erie and the girls at Sacred were able to accommodate me before my flight left that evening. I went in and Missy talked me through every single step of the piercing and aftercare process. She truly took the time to measure out the optimal placement for the piercings I wanted, and made sure to check on my comfort level throughout. The establishment itself was impeccably clean and piercing environment/implements were at medical levels of sterile (every single package, regardless of what it was, was commercially sealed, opened by Missy, and then disposed of in front of me). I went to Sacred Piercing to get my helix pierced, Missy was amazing!! She helped make sure I had the right size jewelry, made sure the placement was perfect, and even made sure to use an appropriate needle size to prevent keloid bumps. She also had a very calming voice and talked me through some breathing exercises while she piercing me to help distract from the pain. They have a very sterile shop with a nice atmosphere. The shop is a chill, well-kept, inviting space that puts you at ease right off the bat. The front desk staff is welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. The piercer/owner Missy is a truly special person. She is professional and it's easy to see that she knows what she's doing, but she's down-to-earth and easy to talk to. I got my nipples pierced so I was understandably nervous, and she explained every single step of the process and made me feel very comfortable and calmed me down significantly. I was a little lightheaded afterward, and she showed genuine concern for my well-being. She brought me gatorade, chatted with me until I felt better, and made certain I was OK before letting me leave. She explained the aftercare thoroughly and made me feel confident that I can care for my piercings properly during the long healing process. Do not expect cheap, but when it comes to body modification, and I cannot stress this enough - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. If you want your piercing to be done right, heal correctly, look good, and not cause harm to your body, do yourself a favor & spend the money at this shop. First, the customer service I received over the phone when asking questions, and then when I got to the store was beyond expectations. To start, I picked out the place I wanted to be pierced, and then chose which stud would work best. While in the process, I decided to update a few of my older piercing jewelry. Missy was working that day - and from the start she was very friendly and professional. She took out all of the equipment in front of me - so there was no question as to whether or not the instruments were clean. She took ample time to explain everything, and walked me through the process while she was preparing to pierce. The piercing didn't hurt one bit! I highly recommend getting any piercing here. Absolutely amazing. I went to Sacred Piercing to have my nose pierced and I was pretty nervous because it was my first real piercing. (I had my ears pierced at Walmart when I was six - yikes!) Right away, Missy made me feel calm and comfortable. She walked me through the entire process before we even started anything, then walked me through it again as she was doing it. She washed her hands thoroughly and took all of her equipment from sealed sterile bags. I was so pleased with her bedside manner as well as her humor and ability to help me relax. More recently, I went in for a jewelry change. The man who did it was just as friendly, hygienic, and polite. I was nervous it would hurt but he made conversation with me and had me laughing to the point that I didn't even realize he had changed the jewelry. A few weeks ago I was getting ready to meet my husband for lunch. Went to put in a pair of earrings a friend made and noticed that the bottom holes were closed! I was upset. I had have them since I was 5. I asked friends for recommendations for where I should get my ears done again. I had two friends tell me that Sacred Piercing would be the place to go. I was originally going to go to the mall. I was reminded that at a professional piercing studio, the equipment they use is sterilized and a higher quality than going to the mall. I would also be guided by someone that would know the best size and be able offer advise if needed. When i arrived I was greeted by two women who were very friendly. The one person, showed me the different styles of studs and explained the different styles and how they worked. I did not know about these styles. I was used to the mall piercing studs. She was upfront about pricing and answered any questions I had. Then I met, Missy, my professional piercer. She is very friendly and made me feel at ease. She explained what she was she doing each step of the way. She asked questions to ensure we were on the same page. Missy also took the time to go over how to care for my newly pierced ears. I am glad she did. What I was told back in the day is not how you care for them. She explained why and how to ensure the best care and how long I should wait until I can change my earrings. I had a wonderful experience at Sacred Piercing yesterday. Having a history of some trouble with upper ear lobe and cartilage piercings, I was looking into a place other than walking through the mall to get one done. Sacred Piercing came up first in my search and offered great information on their website about the benefits of needle vs piercing gun. I made an appointment over the phone for the same day and got pricing information for the piercing I wanted depending on the jewelry I chose. Missy was my piercer and she was fantastic. She explained every step of everything she did, made sure I was comfortable and happy through the process, and was friendly and personable during the appointment. All of their equipment and jewelry is individually wrapped and she explained the sterilization process as well. It was a little pricier than I'm used to, but for the quality of jewelry and the experience they give I would say it's completely worth it.
