i would like to start off by saying that my nails are decent. i booked an appointment over the…read morephone for a full set of acrylics and i was sat on time. the woman who did my acrylics hardly talked to me but had no problem yelling to speak to her coworkers. the place was overall a little overstimulating. the acrylics by themselves were done very well, but i felt that she didn't care when it came to painting the gel polish. so, my nails don't look perfect and i was still expected to pay $70 for them. i know acrylics can be expensive, but i would much rather be charged $50 or $60 for this type of work. if you want ACRYLICS, i would suggest finding somewhere that charges less!!

Not sure of the nail polish brand but I love the color! She used the electric file head tool to do my cuticles and they came out amazing without all of the cutting and pulling. I got a hand mask and paraffin treatment and my hands are sooo soft! The massage (while in paraffin) was really great. The price wasn't too bad because I had 30% off the gel manicure and 25% off the hand mask treatment. Before the sales I think it should've been $42 but I only paid $29!! I know they're a new place so they have to organize everything and put the final touches on the salon but I strongly recommend.

My hairdresser was made aware that I was there, but instead of taking me at noon, my appt time, the hairdresser took two of the walk-ins ahead of me. The hairdresser had one person at the sink with product in her hair when she finally took me, then interrupted my haircut to wash out the other person's hair. Then she sat me in front of a hair dryer, turned it on without putting the hood down, and proceeded to cut the other person's hair. After 10 min, I asked if I should put the hood down, and she got irritated with me, put it down and walked away. The cut was nothing like I requested (I had a picture for reference and she looked at it several times), and she got snarky when I pointed that out. It's not the first time I've experienced disappointment at this salon, so I guess I should have expected this. The last time, the hairdresser spent the entire time trashing her employer and trying to recruit me for the salon she was setting up in her garage.

Wanted to get it dyed a golden blonde. There was a lot that went wrong with my appointment but I'll start with this: They left the lightener in my hair for THREE AND HALF HOURS. My hair is absolutely destroyed - it feels brittle and coarse, and now my hair has lost all its natural volume and waves. But let's detail the other things: 1) This whole process took 7 hours for someone to overbleach my whole head of hair and cut it. 2) After bleaching my hair, the stylist added a golden blonde toner - this is confusing because typically after bleaching you want to use a blue or purple based toner to counteract the yellow/orange that typically remains after bleaching. So then my hair was Bart Simpson yellow, while the stylist was all "wow! what do you think?" And I had to say "uh, this is really yellow." Then she admitted that she was really nervous and didn't want to say how yellow it was to me and didn't know how to fix it. The instructor fixed it with a neutralizing toner. Still looks more yellow than is natural, but I don't look like a cartoon. 3) Despite me saying that my hair is fine and dry, I was shampoo-ed twice and then blow-dried with pretty much no moisture added or any heat protectant used. After being blow-dried my hair looked stick-straight and frizzy out of control. That was the point I wanted to cry, because I had pretty healthy, full hair before this whole process, and it had never looked so damaged. 4) I've gotten my hair cut here twice, including this time, both times asked for layers, and both times had the stylist panic about doing layers. I don't know what is going on there. 5) Also, I originally had made an appointment for during the week, but when I showed up they said they had to reschedule because they weren't informed that I wanted to get lighter hair, despite me telling the desk when I made the appointment. I'm never going back, this was honestly really devastating and I was really looking forward to having nice blonde hair. I realize they're students but I can't believe I paid over $60 and spent 7 hours on a Saturday having someone destroy my hair that I'm now going to have to pay a professional salon to fix.
