Booking an appointment was a little confusing, I booked an appointment at B&T salon in Ballston Spa…read morebut was told via Facebook message from the B&T business page to go to Le Nails instead as the owner spends more time there than at the one in Ballston Spa. My appointment took place in the Le Nails salon in Malta but under the booking from B&T Salon. This is my review of the Le Nails salon for reference, not sure the weight of my review for B&T Salon as I was redirected to actually show up at the Le Nails Salon. A little confusing. The staff were super friendly and personable, but beyond that, meh. I came in with an old acrylic set from a different salon that was lifting. I had requested an acrylic full set in my appointment and found out later that we were actually applying builder gel. I'm not sure on the specific differences between acrylic and builder gel, but I was told by a previous nail technician that the acrylic is more long lasting and tough, which I prefer because I'm pretty hard on my hands. Again, maybe the way that the builder gel was applied mimics the acrylic, but the lack of clarity on my end is a little frustrating as I've been to salons that walk-through what exactly is being applied, and also have sisters that provide acrylic and builder gel nail services in another state. The application itself is rather thick and a little lumpy on some nails, which I didn't notice until after I left . Definitely on me for not saying something while I was there to have them try to fix it. I also had nail tips applied, not a fan of the opaque color of the tip underneath as I don't think it mimics a natural nail. If I go here again, I think I'll request a different tip type. The salon vibe and interior is pretty standard. Maybe they have strong suits in other services at the salon, but my acrylic full set appointment was just meh.

Walked right into the salon and got a beautiful pedicure. Place is pretty, clean, and so…read moreconveniently located! Owners are quite nice as well. Prices are quite reasonable!

And I'm always happy with the result! :) Kylie is currently my stylist, and I highly recommend. Samantha is my massage therapist at Bella Nani and is knowledgeable about techniques that help promote relief from chronic headaches and migraines. I wish I could go once a week! I'm looking forward to my next one. In the meantime, I hope to win the lotto so I can go several days a week. :) Becky did my facial today, and it was so relaxing. I've been under lots of stress and my acne prone skin is showing it. As a result, I was concerned about getting a facial, but everything she did was gentle and calming to my skin. I feel like my skin is on the right path to recovery, thanks to her. I'll definitely be back! Bella Nani is a unique spa that feels like a comfy home-away-from-home, where you feel welcomed and want to hang out to sip a cup of tea and chat. I never feel rushed the entire time I'm there, and there's never any pressure to buy products or more services. I leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and happy. I highly recommend!

He initially did just the thinnest of tips and I actually had to ask him to make the tips wider twice. When he finished the tech said how good they looked and I agreed. The best part is that they lasted four weeks until I had them done again with no chips or even rough edges - we are traveling so I can't return here, but I definitely would!

The Experience: As soon as I checked in, I was asked to choose an aromatherapy option for my bath. After changing, I waited in a calm relaxation room with tea and snacks until my name was called. The atmosphere was peaceful, setting the tone for the experience. The bath itself was deeply relaxing. One thing that surprised me was how deep the tub was--I wasn't expecting that. I remember wondering if the minerals would make the bath feel different, like maybe there would be some tingling, but it felt like a regular bath. The ambiance of the bathhouse was serene, with soothing music and dim lighting that really enhanced the relaxation. I've even shared my experience on YouTube, you can check out my full experience and get a feel for the vibes here: https://youtu.be/rZRi-EZA5zw It was interesting to learn that, back in the day, a bath here cost just $1.25, whereas now it's around $64. It's a bit expensive for a bath, so I'd say it's great for a one-time experience. However, I think the staff could do a better job of educating customers about the benefits of the mineral water--what it does and why it works--so we can actually understand the impact it has. It would be even better if they shared testimonials from long-term clients about how it's improved their lives. Pro Tips: 1. Enter the park through the Avenue of the Pines to avoid the $10 parking fee. 2. Check out the nearby creek--it's a gorgeous spot! Last time I visited, I set up a surprise picnic for our anniversary there. You can ask the staff at the front desk about it. For me, it's exciting to know the history behind Roosevelt Baths and to experience something that people in the past believed would heal their bodies and that once provided a natural luxury experience to everyday New Yorkers.

Our attendant was really nice and told us the fascinating history. The steam room was a little small. The changing room provided lockers, robes, towels and slippers. You have your own room for mineral bath with massage table and bathroom. The bath was relaxing. The massage therapist was fine but her bedside manner was rather robotic. It felt like she was phoning it in. So just a little disappointed in that area. Otherwise it was nice to visit. I'm undecided if I would go back next time in town. Update: I woke up to sore shoulders so a little sad that my shoulders went from fine to owwww... :(
