My eyebrow tint had me looking like a cartoon character. I complained that it was too dark and uneven; and they did try to fix it but told me it would lighten up the next day. It looks like a child did this! I had an event to attend that night. I had to rub it off the best I could to a point with coconut oil. Smh.. Never again will I get a tint there. Went here today for a regular manicure...I know, I went old school! But they did a great job!

andy and the lady who sit beside him typically do my nails every 2-3 weeks leaving me absolutely disappointed ! i've been going to this salon about 6 months and EVERY TIME the price changes and its probably so they're able to afford their balenciaga shoes and cartier bracelets ! they make you feel as if what you want is to much and always complain if you decide to go longer . the lady who sits beside andy got mad at me because i asked her twice to fix my uneven french tip ! i will not be going here anymore because its clear they are only about price gouging and doing what is easier and quicker for them ! read more

My mom took me there so we could get matching birthday pedicures. The people who did them were horrible and didn't talk to us the entire time. We chose a dark blue grey color and ended up with a sparkly purple. I woke up the next morning with an ingrown toe nail that hurt like a mother-- read more

Been going for two years after trying several other places. Very clean. Tulli does my nail dip and is very good.

The quality of work at this establishment has significantly decreased over the years. I have been getting my nails done here consistently for the past three years. The last three times that I've gotten my nails done here I have had issues in some form. The owner believes by buying snacks and drinks for clients that this substitutes for poor workmanship. Today I spent a 1.5 hours getting dipping powder, which is the most expensive treatment for nails, within two hours one of my nails broke, while doing simple laundry. I am so frustrated as if I want to return for them to rectify this as it should've been completed properly the first time. Now that Becky is gone, I would only recommend Paul.... Everyone else is garbage, believe me! read more

Have been coming here for years. I always set an appointment 2 weeks ahead and never have a problem. Friendly staff and love that they are always familiar faces. I like to see the same staff! They get to know you and your preferences. Tommy and Lynn take care of my acrylic manicure and gel pedicure every time! The Lavender pedicure with paraffin is spot on! It's two hours of "me time" which is what this Momma needs. read more

Came here today. I asked for an ombré and the woman nail tech kept insisting I do dip. The customer should always be right and I am used to powder ombrés. I kept trying to explain to her why I wanted powder instead of dip. She told me it was going to be $75. And I was like wow !! Everywhere I have ever went to get a powder ombre was not more than $55. Sooo.... I just went with regular acrylic. Which thankfully was only $40. However... They look so bad. She completely messed up my index finger and made it too short. Not once did she apologize and just asked if she could do my other index finger the same way. Like NO!!!! It is so simple to build a nail back out all you do is put this tape on the finger and use the acrylic to make it long again read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for almost a year now. I was new town a little over a year & half ago & tried many salons. After trial & error I decided to give this location a try, and I am happy I did. Becky is my favorite nail tech & does my nails every couple of weeks. I am a bartender & I am pretty rough on my nails & even after 3 weeks they still look fabulous. Great place & great customer service!! read more

This is the best nail salon I have found in Carolina Forrest. It is clean, the owners take pride in what they do and they always recognize me by name. The workmanship is excellent and I have met so many nice people at the salon. The technicians converted me from dipping powder to dipping gel and the nails last for weeks. They look great and I get tons of compliments. This is my forever nail salon! read more

Today I had my nails done. The guy that did an awful job I had Becky and Mae before and their great!!! But this guy first he does not listen, I had said please cut them down and he barely did that, then when he is filing them down he is filing my skin to the point of pain, then as he is getting getting my hands with nail polish all over my hands , then he tells me he does not like the maker of the nail polish telling me how he didn't. That is a nice thing to say to your customers. He sites behind the front desk. He was horrible. I will never have him touch my nails, Joey on the other hand did a great pedicure. Just look out for him. Now I am walking around thinking my nails look bad. read more

I left this salon this evening literally in tears and with the peace of knowing that I will never have to go back. I have gone here 6+ months, all good experiences, one or two minor issues they've always fixed no problem. Today, I made an appointment for 5:00PM and arrived at 5:04PM due to River Oaks traffic. The gentleman at the front who is always so kind asked me if I could wait a few more minutes and I said no problem. I waited until 5:30PM and was approached so that they could start soaking off my dip powder so that it would be off by the time a nail tech was ready. It was about 5:50PM by the time I was seen. Honestly, not a problem I don't mind waiting, they were busy and things happen. I was not shown this patience or kindness as soon as I was sat at the older women's station and immediately pressured and rushed to choose a color. This individual showed no kindness, she was very rude and I began to feel anxiety throughout the entire service as she had so much resentment I wondered if I had done something to offend her. At one point, she left for about ten minutes. She dropped all of the nail tools on the floor a few times, picked them up and used them on me again. I came in with Almond shaped nails with dip powder. I have gotten the same service from them for over 6 months. She told me if I wanted to keep the almond shape it would be an extra $5. I asked her why, I know some salons charge if you change the shape, but why would it cost more to keep the same shape I have? She replied "Almond more beautiful, do you want it or not?". I replied "yes, I have always had almond". At this point I was in tears, and almost ready to just end the service there. I was the very last person served, and the last one to leave the salon. I went to check out and the gentleman told me the total, and I politely asked again why the extra fee that I have never been charged with for the same shape. He called over the tech, she began yelling at me, and then she proceeded to argue with the another women who I assumed was the manager loudly. I stood there quietly, put my card in the reader, signed the receipt and just left. 2 hours and 15 minutes later. They said nothing to me, just kept arguing. i will never go back and just wanted to share this experience so that others are cautious of how customers are treated. read more

If I could give no stars I would. Went in paid $70 for a set of nails. Two days later 3 of them broke right where they glued the tip on. I went back and the manager repaired them and that was a joke. He did not even try to match my color or try to do a good job. Then 2 days later more nails broke. I called and asked for a refund and they said the manager would call me back and he never did. I will never go back here again and I suggest who ever wants to try them don't do it!!! Waste of absolute money. read more

Literally the worst nail experience I have ever had. The first time wasn't great, but thought I'd give it a second chance for my 30th Birthday mani/pedi. Had Danny. He was rude, bullied me, tricked me into gel to make a few extra bucks even though I specifically said multiple times I didn't want it, made me bleed, and threw a temper tantrum, flinging things when I calmly explained when I said short I didn't mean full set without the tips. Ultimately he did a really sloppy job, made me feel horrible the whole time, and was very unprofessional. I paid $80 for sloppy painful manicure and pedicure. My husband who was with me was so ready to tell him off, but I just wanted to leave. Will NEVER go back again. read more

UPDATE: After my last less than desirable review of Diamond Nail Bar, I still had some gift cards so I decided to bring my friend in who was visiting from out of town. We sat down and the first thing i noticed was the grit all over the table from the powder nail products and filing. It was all over my arms. The tech that my friend had didn't even ask her what color she wanted - he said "Clear, right?" Neither one of us got a hand massage and my nails had to be redone 3 times! No base coat, and when he put the top coat on, the whole thing shrunk up and took on this weird design. It was the oddest thing I've ever seen. They called someone else over and in his broken English he said "He put top coat on too fast." Oh baloney. I've NEVER heard that excuse. Then they started talking in their language. I was agitated at that point after 3 times of removing and adding polish. I told them I couldn't understand what they were saying and they just laughed. What do I think? I think they're diluting their polish with thinner and that's why it it was funky. I am so disappointed in this place. I've been going here since they opened as I said in my last review. They've slid so far downhill - not even asking if we wanted water or anything. I was so embarrassed, bringing my friend to this dump. They're just like every other sweat shop in town now. I still have gift cards and I will NOT be using them. NEVER. AGAIN. read more

Great local place for nails. Cindy is amazing but has been away out of the country. My fall back was TeeTee. He is a fun, always happy personality and does amazing nails. Sadly he is gone now too. No one compares to these two. Don't know what to do, have had my nails done by others in the salon but I am not happy with their work. read more

My mother and I make appointments every few weeks, each for a fill. On many occasions we have had to wait 15+ minutes for a tech to be available - despite the fact we both have appointments. I can understand being understaffed - everyone is right now - but if you do not have the staff for back to back appointments, stop taking them! My most recent experience I waited 45+ minutes - with an appointment - to be seen, I walked out and will be taking my business elsewhere. Manage your time better and treat your customers time with respect. We will not be returning. read more

Becky was very friendly and attentive to what I wanted. She did an EXCELLENT job on my nails. The atmosphere was calming and clean.

Wow! Wow! I am in the area for a quick "Get your mind right" vacation and needed a "Girls and Mommy" day. My sister found this spot and we went. First, it's a new development, so the surroundings is plain. However, once you open the door to this salon, you felt welcome from everyone, especially Ms. Bonnie. (Hey Girl) Danny did my Gel Fill and my pedicure. I showed him a picture and he delivered! The smell is relaxing, they do offer water, and adult beverages. The pedicure chairs area are cleaned after each use. The bathroom is CLEAN! The sink area where you wash your hands, before the polish, has brushes. One of the containers has "Used" and the other "New"! Look, if you're in the area or need a quick fix, please come to this nail salon. You treat them good and they will treat you good! Keep up the great work. We will be back! read more

Yesterday was my first time giving the place a try, not sure if I will be back. The price was a bit high, I paid $50. But I was expecting that since this was a new full set with gel color. My biggest issue with this place was sanitation. Old acrylic liquid was used. The liquid was cloudy and wasn't fresh. It should be fresh for every new person. He was also really rough with my hands, pushing his finger nail into my skin and pushing and pulling my hands away. I don't know if I will be back because of the old acrylic liquid and the roughness on my hands and nails. read more

I don't normally like giving negative reviews but my experience here was awful. I kept asking for shorter and a different shape and wasn't listened to. After the second time I just gave up. They're so long, the wrong shape, and way wider than my natural nail. To top it off, a week later they're coming up around the edges, appearing like they're 3-4 weeks old instead of 1. read more

We went by to get our nails done a few days before our wedding and it was a huge disappointment. I walked in New Year's Eve and was seated right away. I got there at 6 they close at 7. The atmosphere was so relaxing but I have to say the service wasn't the best and I probably won't be back. Tracy did my nails I got ombré French. She was aggressive with my hands and hurt me with the tools more than once. I've never had sore fingers after a manicure. Also the place I normally go they at least talk to you and give a slight hand massage. This did not happen. I noticed there wasn't much of the glitter which I constantly kept asking about but it wasn't until the end that she repeated me and said that's enough. The worst part of it all was the total. There is no way it should have cost $70 for a rushed job and painful process. read more

My and friend and I and went in for a basic polish on our nails and feet. We sat down in the pedicure chairs and after being told I "needed" a pedicure the lady proceeded to paint my nails and change the nail polish color after one sheer coat. After the change in color my toe polish looked thick and uneven. Another lady started to shape my finger nails, they were uneven and squared even though I asked for rounded. After finishing my finger nails the lady began conversing with the lady who did my toes in a different language for ten minutes or more. Clearly talking about me and my nails. She took off the first toe nail polish that was done ten minutes prior and redid them. She took me to the drying station and sat with my feet under a fan and hands under a UV light for at least 25 minutes. After my friend was done drying we put out shoes on and went to pay and my big toe nail polish came completely off. Paid $28 for insufficient, ugly work. read more

Always a long wait when there are empty workers sitting in their chairs. I'm 18, and look quite young for my age so they always try to scam me with the price, and take advantage of me. I remember one time, they tried to charge me $35 for a COLOR CHANGE. I always had to ask for the price in advance before getting my nails done, because somehow the price would increase by $20 at the end of the session. I have never been satisfied. I went there today as a walk-in around 1145-12:00pm for a polish change and a fill with gel polish. They were getting busy, but immediately sat me and started on my toes. My nails didn't truly need filled, but the place I went prior did an awful job. The acrylic was separating from my actual nails on certain fingers, so I ended up having to get them completely redone.
