I've had a lot of work done to my boat at Diamond Marine. They're great mechanics , fair and trustworthy. I had difficulty trying to contact them and thought they were no longer in business. I was very pleased after learning they had just moved! There is a number to call temporarily until their old number gets working. Charged me $3000 Sabotaged my boat, ripped me off told me to take them to court. Outdrive never had an oil leak or made knocking sound until diamond marine (spencer & jeff) took it apart and put it back together wrong then refused to fix it. Brought boat back 3 times. Avoid at all costs boat ran fine before they touched it. Brought it in for a fuel gauge and trim cylinder seals. They insisted the outdrive needed to come apart for trim service which it does not. Moved my boat off the property with out my permission, has children working on boats, left a screw out of my carburetor gas was leaking all over one of my motors putting my whole family in danger. Had my boat for 7 months and kept getting nothing but lies and un kept promises. Finally picked my boat up and took it out twice, second trip the main water line blew off the impeller soaking my hot motor with cold river water. Wrecked the motor just had to spend another $6,000 on the same motor else where because there was no way in hell they where touching my boat again. Still debating a law suit! Didn't finish the work and I left numerous messages and never got a call back. I literally pleaded with them by message to call me back and never heard from them. If I can give ZERO star I would! First of all the owner of this Marine Shop Mike is not worthy of your time and money. Bring your business somewhere else, I recommend if you are already in the area and desperate of having your boat fix at least go to Boulder Marine, the next shop to this one because this man will randomly throw numbers at you when it comes to getting your bill. Here's what he does, he will tell you he did fix something and never touch it. He would do everything and anything to get that bill up! You will be shock getting your bill for things never been an issue in the first place. His old mechanic has been fighting to get the right parts for the customers boats but he always and I mean always put junk parts on your boat! He complains of being broke when he needs to buy parts for customers that customers will be billed for anyways. If you were old customers go ahead and look at the parts Mike replaced on your boat and you will be shocked what's in there! The sad part he charge you the brand names price! Oh yes by the way, he is also trash talking every customers that walks his shop and when he knows you have money.... get ready to get billed $$$$$$ and guess what he say "oh he can afford it anyway!" Absolutely failed me and my confidence on their abilities. Got the water impeller replaced on my suzuki and then the lower unit blows up. Had another person do an inspection and said there is things they should have spotted immediately while doing the water impeller work to alert to issues including checking the gear lube.. They also took the new water impeller and housing which I found suspicious... Definitely NO confidence in them. They have similar reviews of shoddy work and security / trust issues... I do not trust these people are doing the right thing. Came in for a simple impeller annual service change and then my outboards lower unit blows up in 30 minutes of it being on the water.. now starting to talk down to me and thinks his mechanic skills are better than everyone else.. lost my confidence and trust in them. read more

I took my boat to Diamond Marine in Oct 2019 with the belief that Jeff would be able to change the motor, upgrade my outdrive to a duo prop drive and repair my trailer over the winter. It has now been 18 MONTHS that these clowns have hade my boat. I have lost count of the number of times Jeff told us that he only needed a week to finish it. They have given away my old motor and outdrive, If you ever want to see your boat again avoid this shop and these LIARS. Do not believe anything this shop tells you as it will most likely be a LIE. Jeff and the team at Diamond marine are amazing. I boat a used boat that had a rattle coming from what I thought was the drive. Turns out it's a normal noise from the inner exhaust baffles on the 496 mag ho. They could've easily charged me for all sorts of repairs and I wouldn't have known the difference. They also did a full inspection on the boat (which came out clean) at no charge. Thanks Jeff, I really appreciate your honestly and integrity. Stay away!!!!!! The owner mike is a scam and not a man of his word. Took my boat here 4 times in 2 months first time just a tune up and after that down hill. Picked up the boat after engine coupler replacement and took it to the lake. Water leaking from a cracked boot. Gets better mikes crew broke the bilge pump so i couldn't pump out all my water that my boat took on. Took it back to him and he apologized says he fired the mechanic who worked on my boat and said he would take care of it and i wouldn't have to pay for any of it. Go to pick it up today and he try's to slap me with a $1000 bill for all the extra work he supposedly did without my permission. A few words were said and i walked out paying a little less.
