We have never rented Jet Ski's before, always went with friends that had them. We were a little leary about what the ski's would be like, were we getting a good deal ? When we pulled up we were greeted immediately, they looked up our reservation and shuttled us to the safety video. They gave us vests and proceeded through a orientation on the jet ski's that left no stone unturned. The craft were in great shape and worked flawlessly. The price was great for the time allowed, we called a couple people and most were way more for less time. Upon return they asked if we enjoyed the day and if there were any questions or problems. They unhooked the trailer, checked the ski's and returned our deposit , no BS. They invited us back and offered a discount on our return visit. We will definitely be using them again. read more

We had such a great experience with Skiwi rentals. The gentlemen who helped us with the initial walkthrough was very competent and thorough with a good sense of humor. The owners were extremely organized with communication. Then we ended up losing a life jacket which was stressful and we were expecting a big bill due to it - nope, even though it was a big inconvenience for them they only charged us the cost of the vest and were super kind about the mistake. Skiwi Inventory is very old, and totally beat up. We rented and the ski reverse handled was defaulted, the ski was totally dirty. I guess you get what you pay for. Road trip with the family! Wanted to venture out to Lake Mead and show them Hoover Dam while having some fun. The water is awesome. Rented the AR 230. Granted...they are aging now but still able to have fun. The owner, Craig, told us they are actually starting the process to upgrade the boats from the 2008 ish model to 2014-2015. I wish we would have had the new boats but that just gives us a reason to come back. We did the full day boat rental with the wakeboard package. Small problem with the boat while on the lake and they had a mechanic out and corrected the issue. We managed to still have a good time. They even helped with our hitch problem as the boat was too low on my set up. Had a temp hitch set up for me to use. 100% would rent from these guys again. Thanks!! read more

Do not rent from here!! Incredibly unreliable boats and staff. I went out to Lake Mead for my bachelor party in late August, and along with our houseboats, we rented a ski-boat for inner tubing, wakeboarding, etc. Skiwi Rentals makes you give at least a week notice if you want to cancel, but they called us the day before our trip to tell us our boat was broken. They offered no other solution for us, no recommendations for other boat areas, and no discount to another product of theirs. When we called to try and figure something out, they acted like giving us a refund was a generous solution. We had rented tubes and wakeboards, and obviously couldn't get our money back there because they let us know 24 hours before our trip, and it was too late to return. Don't make the same mistake we did by trusting these people! read more

My wife and I want to purchase some Jet-Ski's so thought it would be good to rent. My son and I actually went and we had a great time. My wife and two other couples came to Vegas for the week. We wanted to rent jet skis on Lake Mead for the day. Unfortunately, we tried to book a discounted trip through a third party (which turns out is illegal). The morning of our booking, 30 minutes before our appointment, this person cancelled on us. We were devastated and decided to drive to SkiWi's shop even though it was 30 minutes before they opened. Once they heard what had happened, they sprang into action. Greg immediately gave us a good price on four jet skis and got everything ready for our trip. We were trained, outfitted, and on our way in an impressive amount of time. The jet skis worked wonderfully and we had an AMAZING DAY out on the water! If you are traveling to Las Vegas and want to do something out of the ordinary, PLEASE rent a ski or boat from SkiWi! They will treat you right, take care of everything and make sure your vacation experience is everything it can be. We are no doubt customers for life! read more

This process could not have been easier. We are experienced boaters but are currently boatless. Found Skiwi online and called a week in advance. The checkout process was so simple and fast and Craig, Theresa & crew were a pleasure to deal with. Returning the next morning (we extended it overnight) was even easier. Fantastic service with ease of renting! The gentlemen here made our jet ski rental a breeze! We reserved our rental online which gave us a discount. I always love getting a discount. We arrived a little bit after they opened to get our fun day started. Of course there is a short form to fill out and short video to watch on safety and such. It's no big deal and completely understandable for rentals. Once all of that is finished, they walk you to the rental and look for any damage already on the rental (like a car rental) and mark it on the form. They do a great job explaining the ins and outs of the jet ski and answer any questions you may have. Before we knew it, we were at Lake Mead. Skiwi facility is only 20 minutes from Boulder Harbor Boat Launch inside of the Lake Mead National Park. The jet ski ran like a champ and enjoyed a fabulous day on the lake. We are regulars at Lake Mead and Lake Powell. This was our first time renting from Skiwi. This trip we rented 4 Yamaha VX Waverunners for 4 days. They had them trailered up for us, hooked up to my hitch, and provided all necessary accessories, including life vests. This company has done a good job of leveraging technology for reservations, education, and paperwork, but they also provide excellent personal customer service. Craig, the New Zealander owner and his staff get 5 stars for their excellent service!!! My family and I, seven of us from So Ca, reserved a houseboat out of Callville Bay, Lake Mead for four days, 6/6 to 6/10/2021. We wanted a Waverunner also, so I reserved one from Skiwi rentals, a month in advance. They are the closest rental shop to Callville Bay marina, about an hour and half round trip, including trailer hook-up, gassing it up and launching. However, there was a wind advisory beginning on 6/5. Skiwi was so considerate that they called me on 6/5 to inform me of the high wind conditions in the area, and the fact that we probably wouldn't be allowed the launch anything out of Callville Bay. Luckily, we were able to launch our houseboat and get into a wind blocking cove for a couple of days. On our 3rd day we headed back to the marina and went to pickup our Waverunner for a day and a half of exhiliration. Craig was so considerate and gave me a very fair price on the Waverunner rental, due the initial days of adverse weather. WHO DOES THAT? The Waverunner ran awesome and was a big hit with the family! I highly recommend Skiwi Rentals to everybody and I will definitely be a repeat customer! read more

Although I rented from here 2 years ago, I forgot to write a review until I ran across the Skiwi poker chips which I had stored in a drawer. The poker chips were given to me by the owner after my rental and are good for discounts on future rentals. Anyway, I rented a boat one day and 2 wave runners the next day. The owner was friendly and helped to make this an enjoyable quick vacation for my family. Boats and wave runners were clean and worked flawlessly. He has also gone above and beyond for me and my wife when we need his help. We have a 2011 seadoo boat and they have always handled it carefully and fixed any issues we have had with it. I wish I could give 10 stars! My husband and I were going to get married in Vegas in April 2020 and decided to rent a Can Am Spyder to drive through the wedding Chapel. When our trip was canceled due to COVID, our money was refunded quickly no questions asked. We finally rebooked for September and am so glad we did! Craig and Teresa were so easy to work with!
