Five well deserved stars! Read on to see why. I've been waiting months to post a review on BC RV. We have a small tow car for our RV & when we arrive at a location, the "toad" battery was ALWAYS dead & needed a jump. We took it to several places, paid our money, only to take it out again & bang, DEAD battery. We took it into BC RV & had them check it over. Within a few minutes Ryan told us, "You have some wires crossed. I'll have it fixed in a couple hours." Okay, I've never heard about the wires being crossed, but I've been told "I'll have it fixed." Several times, only to be disappointed. Then the Virus arrived in full force. Places closed, folks had to stay at home. Vacation plans were rescheduled or scrapped all together. Our long distance RV plans were put on the back burner. But now, we're out again. When we arrived at our destination, the car started right up. Thank you Ryan! BC RV has fixed our water heater, (showing me an electric heater I didn't know we had! I thought we only had a propane heater) & have worked on our AC & several other jobs. I can not say enough good things about Boulder City RV , recently I had trouble with the onan generator in my mobile pet grooming van , although they were very booked up , they made room for me , diagnosed the problem correctly and noticed a few things that helped avoid other problems in the future. We are locals who discovered our water pump was not functioning with hours left until we left on a much anticipated trip. Without an appointment, the staff advised us there was a 3 week wait but they would be more than happy to give it a quick once over to see what they could do before their service appointments started for the day. I called Boulder City RV last week to see if they could help me upgrade house batteries to a lithium system. The mechanic I spoke with told me he needed to ask another guy that worked there and then he would call me back. I drove to their location yesterday because he NEVER called me back. I was required to go through three people just to be able to ask the first gentleman if he had an answer for me yet. He still had no answer at that time one way or another, so I gave up at that point. However, the owner's wife was banging on her window at him because I had finally gone directly to the only person in the place who knew the answer to my simple question. The answer should have been "yes" or "no," that's all the time I needed from him. I had already driven 8 miles roundtrip to get that simple one-word answer, because he had never called me back. I was so stunned by her seeming belief she was entitled to interrogate a potential paying customer regardless of his personal needs, I went back today to try to fathom their thinking? Here is what was explained to me by the owner and his wife: They don't allow customers to take their employees away from the work for which they are currently paying them!! The owner literally asked me today, "If I had an appointment (to talk with that employee)?!" That is an appointment to ask an employee who never returned my call if he could do a job or not!?!? Someone cue the Twilight Zone theme music! There was NO concern for the time I invested or the miles I traveled whatsoever! Since yesterday, I called six RV repair facilities three said they could help me and three said they could not. No one accused me of being rude. No one gave me any trouble for asking a simple question. No other business owes me the time and trouble Boulder City RV does, which I will never get back, for the audacity for asking a RV business if it can do a RV job or not!!!! read more

We can't recommend Boulder City RV highly enough! My husband and I are snowbirds who were on our way south for the winter. During the drive down to Vegas, we run into problems with both our truck and 5th wheel. We got the truck into the shop and locals recommended Boulder City RV to help out with our 5th wheel repair needs. We talked to Caleb, the owner, and Ryan, one of the repair techs. Since the truck was in the shop and we weren't able to tow the 5th wheel in for inspection, Ryan came out to our location and did the inspection on site. He and Caleb worked with us to get a repair estimate drafted up, then they helped us coordinate the repairs with our insurance company. Everything got approved in less than a week! When we came into the office to discuss the repairs, we saw a gorgeous 43.5' toy hauler parked in the lot. We had been considering upgrading to a toy hauler for years, but the logistics never worked out. Caleb and his team made everything seamless. We ended up getting our 5th wheel repaired and Caleb took it as a trade. 24 hours later, we had moved into our new toy hauler and were continuing our journey south. The staff is very knowledgeable and nice and answered all questions I had. I've taken my trailer there twice for repairs and I will never go anywhere else! I live i. Green Valley and dont mind making the drive because they are totally worth it! Plus, its nice to support a smaller business than national wide brands like Camping World. When we put our motor home for sale on Craig's List, we were hammered by agencies wanting to represent or buy our RV. We had two separate private buyers who seemed rather sketchy. Both wanted to drive it without me being in the coach. One wanted to take it overnight to see how it drove and if everything worked. I pulled the ad. A new company opened that same week in our town, Boulder City, Nevada. The sign said, "We will sell your RV." I met with Caleb, the owner, and set an appointment to show him the rig. He asked what I wanted for it? I replied with the same retail price as I had found on most lots. He explained that the going market price was for a motor home on a lot and ready to go. My coach needed waxing and two tires. Caleb and I split the cost of the detail and tires. After the work was done it looked beautiful. He put it on the lot and received an earnest money deposit the next day. He took care of staging and showing the coach at a location in the business to sell RV's, not at my house, handled any test drives, the title transfer, all the paper work, and, two weeks later, he handed me a check for the amount I had asked for minus my half of the cost for the tires and the detail service. We were so pleased that a month later, we purchased an almost new, never lived in, 23-foot travel trailer at an XLNT price. Follow-up Report Since purchasing the trailer we have had SUPERIOR after sale service. I was having difficulty disconnecting my hitch from my truck. I called BC-RV. They sent a man out who showed me what I was doing wrong and stayed with me until I had properly gone through the process three times. Another time I backed in too close to the house and couldn't pull out without removing my porch. Again, they came out and expertly got me out of my jam. You just don't get better sales and service. Trust me... take the few extra minutes and drive your RV down to these people. Not only are the very nice , their prices are time frame are excellent. I had a 2-3 week wait before anyone would even see my RV. These guys had me drop it off and 2 days later looked at it, found the issue and had the part ordered. Few days later called to tell me part was in and later that day they were all finished. I got out of there cheaper than it would of cost me for other shops to diagnose. We bought a used $20,000 class A a couple months ago. While we are happy with the RV, realize that RVs are pretty complex so make a big list and make sure you go over it. There seems to be a lack of communication between sales and the owner and service. Things we were told would be done weren't and we had to sit down and make sure they would be done. The owner told us he really needs to have some type of checklist, but will he ever do it. We were told by salesman the service would go through it and clean it, well a simple power wash outside and not much inside so we told them we will clean it. They put new tires on it but didn't give us the paperwork from the dealer where they had the tires put on, had to ask. Overall it was ok, however one thing I did ask for was valve stem extensions the were never put on. We paid cash so no input as to the finance side of it. If we were to buy another we would make sure to check everything and write down things the salesman tell you and have him sign it read more

They sold our boat. Kirk was in charge of the listing. He is very knowledgeable in a wide variety boats and with the boat market. Highly recommend. The only snag was a problem with the title to our boat trailer. A mistake on the trailer VIN, made by the dealer during our original purchase, had gone unnoticed for 14 years. Fixing this problem involved "duking it out" with the 'paid-off-loan department' of Bank of America and the Nevada DMV (Boat titles are NV Dept of Wildlife. Trailer titles are DMV) --Trust me, a root canal is more fun! After many hours of phone frustration, we got close to a resolution, but still no trailer title. Caleb picked up the ball. After additional trial and tribulation he scored the goal. We got a trailer title with the correct VIN. His relationship with the pandemically-paralyzed NV DMV was a key factor. We could not have accomplished this ourselves. Caleb's knowledge and experience saved the day. Highly recommend. read more

Paid for an extra battery to be installed - not a rocket scientist job. Was surprised after install to have less power (suddenly couldn't get more than two lights unless vehicle was running) than with just the first original battery. Should have noted the red flag when serviceman tried to yank compartment open - had to show him to press and turn knob to open. Spent the day researching online and going to auto/RV stores. Setting up parallel batteries consist of connecting positive to positive and negative to negative with a cable gauge approximate to what's already in the vehicle or the smaller cable can't transfer as much amperage and can melt. Battery put in was fine except there was only one considerably less (4) gauge cable installed positive to positive. No negative to negative cable. Went out and bought shorter thicker cables and installed ourselves - everything works as it should and now have more power. Service manager stated cable gauge they installed was more than enough for a huge rig (highly doubt) and alluded that we just wanted "overkill" cables to cover himself. Totally ignored why there was less power or was there any let's see what can be done to make things right. More than enthusiastic to end the conversation as soon as possible. Clearly a take the money and run for not so good service - not professional. read more

Spent a few days in Boulder City and discovered the furnace wasn't igniting in the RV. Got a recommendation to call them from the campground we were staying in. Called on the weekend and left a voice mail. Didn't hear from them. Called on Monday morning and spoke to somebody(Caleb?) who said he received the voicemail and he was on his way to office and would call in 1/2 hour. Waited for one and a half hours and decided to drive to their location. They had me fill out a form with details on RV, problem, contact info, etc. After lunch, still hadn't heard from anybody and then Ryan calls based on the form I filled out. By this time we asked campground front desk for another recommendation and they gave us Discount RV who we called and he immediately answered and set up an appointment for us. It is really disappointing to me when a man says he will do something and then doesn't do it (Caleb?). This is what they did to us. Do not recommend them based on our apparent unimportance to them and lack of integrity in dealing with new customers. read more

He was able to remove it for us so we could continue our travels. He advised us on on to handle ordering the new part and getting it installed later down the road.
