    Great and reliable service and above all the owner is super nice guy! He really came fast and fix my brake problems in no time. Honestly, save me a lot of time vs taking my truck to a shop or to the dealership, my car was up and running in about two hours. Thanks again, and I will definitely use them in the future to come and recommend them.

    Part of an RV group on the road for two weeks traveling to all the National Parks in the area. Had a catastrophic failure on one of the brake systems to one of our travel trailers as we got into Las Vegas. This business answered our call for help. Joe and Jeb came out first thing in the morning and handled the repair like pros. Both had great attitudes, were knowledgeable, skilled, and fast. They took care of some minor maintenance to another rig in our group, which was greatly appreciated. Back on the road and thankful for their help. Highly recommend!!!!!

    The Honest Mechanic: Great is Not A Big Enough Word Like many, 2020 was the worst year of my life. Lost my job, my wife lost health, we lost money... 2021 didn't seem to change that. After driving through Vegas, I heard a sound that every driver dreads: a large, continuous thudding noise that shook our Jeep. The axle on our utility trailer that carried our entire lives in it, BROKE. Amazingly, the tire, while wobbling, managed to somehow not fall off while driving. Little did I know, that no mechanic nearby who had a garage would work on a utility trailer due to liability. So we did what most people do, we went on google and yelp. We needed a Mobile Mechanic to meet us where we were (we couldn't drive) who had great reviews. That's where Shane comes in. It's often hard to trust reviews (let alone mechanics), but every one of the glowing reviews was correct. Shane showed up within an hour and gave us an honest assessment. He was friendly, personable and positive. He then left and spent the next few hours rebuilding the axle. Nerve wracking to wait and I didn't have enough to cover the extra hours due to my situation. He did it without complaint and with empathy. That's when Shane not only showed what kind of mechanic he is, but what kind of person he is as well. He could've walked away and left us stranded but he didn't. He has a kind heart and these types of people are going to be rewarded in life. He came back with a stronger axle and installed it. It was even better than before, I was amazed at his work and humbled. If this review helps anybody and supports his business, please know that he is the best mechanic in Las Vegas. He is honest, trustworthy, hard-working, has all the right tools and really knows what he's doing. My axle is stronger and better than ever, and we continue on our journey. Thanks for everything Shane.

On Friday, June 13th, I reached out to Fixin Dixon Mobile RV through a message on YELP regarding an issue with my shower, which was spurting water due to a cracked plastic piece. Bill responded quickly, provided his cell number, and suggested I contact him on Saturday morning. Sounds great, right? That's what I thought! Since we were out of town and I was attending an all-day conference, my husband stepped in to reach out. He left a voicemail, and Bill eventually returned the call to schedule a time to inspect our shower. We arranged for him to come on Thursday, June 19th. During the visit, Bill informed my husband that he would check a few places for a replacement part. My husband followed up on Friday, June 20th, only to hear that Bill had been unable to find the part and would look at Home Depot. He mentioned that we might need to replace the entire shower faucet, but we haven't heard from him since, and now it's Monday, June 23rd. I don't mind waiting, but a lack of communication from a business is frustrating. In short, my husband managed to find a temporary part while we look for a more reliable service. I advise proceeding with caution! You might have a great experience, or you could end up disappointed like I did.

To their credit, they did get my Tesla back on the road, which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. However, I would strongly encourage anyone using them to get all pricing in writing upfront. We were driving to EDC when our passenger tire blew out about an hour outside Las Vegas. Tesla roadside assistance quoted us a 3-hour wait, so I called Las Vegas Mobile Auto Repair. Steve told me he could arrange a tow truck for $100. After canceling Tesla roadside assistance, I called him back and agreed. When the tow truck arrived, we were suddenly charged $600 directly by the driver. When I later mentioned this to Steve, he responded, "Wow, that's cheap, he told me he was going to charge you $650." While on the phone the night before, I also overheard Steve's tire vendor quote a replacement tire for $250 available Monday, which worked fine for us since we had shuttle passes for EDC. The next morning, Steve suddenly claimed the only available tire was a $500 run-flat. After I pushed back, he changed the pricing again and said the tire would still be $250, but with mounting, balancing, and labor the total became $600. Another major issue was payment. They repeatedly insisted on Zelle payments only, despite their website stating they accept credit cards. I was uncomfortable sending large non-refundable payments through Zelle before work was completed, but they pressured for payment upfront. On Monday, I was told my vehicle was at risk of being towed because it had been ticketed as abandoned while parked outside Steve's house. I rushed over in a Lyft to move the vehicle myself. After that, the final total changed again to $630 due to an additional mounting/balancing fee I was previously told was already included. I paid but never received a receipt. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. Prices changed multiple times, communication was inconsistent, and I constantly felt pressured into paying more than originally discussed. Be very careful and confirm every detail in writing before agreeing to anything with this company.

I love the weather, the active lifestyle in my 55+ community, and the fact that Las Vegas is only about 30 minutes away, offering countless restaurants, entertainment, and services. Unfortunately, living here has also taught me another lesson: the old saying "Buyer Beware" is more relevant than ever. Over the years, I have found that many businesses--whether in medical care, auto repair, legal services, home repair, or other industries--either overcharge for their services or fail to deliver what they promise. As consumers, we often have little choice but to trust the professionals we hire, making honesty and integrity more important than ever. To me, a truly exceptional business is one that takes the time to explain what is needed, treats customers with respect, performs quality work, and charges a fair price. In other words, it follows the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would want to be treated. Imagine how much better our communities would be if every business operated that way. While companies like this seem increasingly rare, I was fortunate enough to find one recently. I took my 2022 vehicle--with only 22,000 miles--to an auto repair shop that had serviced it several times before. I requested nothing more than a routine oil change. About an hour after leaving the car, I received a phone call informing me that they had discovered major front-end damage. I was told the vehicle was unsafe to drive and that the repairs would cost between $1,800 and $1,900. The diagnosis didn't make sense. My car had never shown any symptoms of front-end problems, so I decided to seek a second opinion. I brought the vehicle to Sonny's Auto Repair at 1000 Stephanie Place, Henderson, NV 89014. From the moment I called, I noticed a difference. The receptionist greeted me warmly, listened carefully to my concerns, and assured me they would be happy to inspect the vehicle. After spending 30 years in customer service, I know how much first impressions matter, and this one was outstanding. I dropped off the car and was told there would be an $85 inspection fee. Later that day, I returned expecting to hear the worst. Instead, I received some of the best news I could have hoped for. The technician--and even the owner, Chris--carefully inspected the vehicle and found none of the damage described by the first repair shop. In fact, the only problem they discovered was that the oil filter installed during the previous oil change had been improperly fitted and was leaking oil. They corrected the problem immediately. Then came the biggest surprise of all. When I asked what I owed, I was told there would be no charge. Chris explained that the repair required very little time and that he could tell how distressed I had been over the prospect of an unnecessary and expensive repair. Think about that for a moment. How often do you encounter a business that could have charged you for an inspection, recommended unnecessary repairs, or simply taken advantage of the situation--but instead chose honesty, integrity, and compassion? Those qualities deserve to be recognized. Because of this experience, Sonny's Auto Repair has earned my trust and my future business. More importantly, they restored a little of my faith that ethical businesses still exist. In today's world, honesty and integrity are qualities worth celebrating. If more businesses--and perhaps even more institutions--followed the example set by Sonny's Auto Repair, our communities would be stronger, trust would be easier to earn, and life would be better for everyone.
