Owner has been trying to convince me to change my review ever since I posted it. He said they would never offer me $150 for a 6 gram 18k ring... So I borrowed a scale. My ring is more than 6 grams. It's 18k gold. When I eventually decide to sell it, I'll post the picture of what I get for it here as well. DO NOT SELL YOUR GOLD HERE. read more

The fellas Simon, Nshaun and Zhiro were super knowledgeable and patient as I asked my questions about the different Rolex styles. They were very reasonable on the pricing and will be picking up my new Rolex this weekend! Must check this place out for other jewelry items such as Gold and silver rings, chains, bracelets and earrings. They also have a great inventory of tools as well read more

These guys are great, very helpful, considerate and funny! After nearly a year of the industry our household relies on being on strike Diamond Jim's was clutch by being the bridge we needed to get us by between the long gaps of paychecks. They gave us a very reasonable loan and I would recommend them to anyone that anyone who asked and honestly the percentage is so much lower than taking out a small bank loan or using your credit card. Cash is still King and at Diamond Jim's they'll help you keep your crown read more

Diamond Jim's is the place to go!! I had a very successful experience and got paid cash on the spot in my time of need! The service there was kind, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I learned a lot about how to see the value in my very eclectic variety of items to sell. The value of each item was on point and explained with clarity. I highly recommend!! read more

Nice dudes, fair prices, i always pop in diamond jims to look for something cool! 10/10!!!

I walked into Diamond Jim's pawn looking to get a secured loan for a couple of my diamond rings and a Louis Vuitton handbag. I spoke to a gentleman who was polite and honest, but he told me that unfortunately they don't accept handbags because there isn't enough demand among their customers for them. He quoted me for the rings only and I said I planned to get quotes from a few different places before making a decision. I spent the rest of the day visiting a handful of other pawn shops in the Los Angeles area, and with each one I visited I was increasingly STUNNED by how terrible they were!! All the subsequent shops were visually grimy and dingy... And filled with shady, predatory staff who had no clue the value of my items ... and I swear, each place low balled me worse than the last. Needless to say, hindsight is 20/20 and at the end of the day I was kicking myself for not taking what I now knew was a very generous & fair quote from Jim's! So I went back a day later and the gentleman I originally spoke with wasn't there this time, but I talked to another guy who was very kind and honored the same quote I had been given before. These guys are highly respectable and run their business with compassion and integrity. They make the process very easy and give you peace of mind that your valued belongings will be kept safe and maintained in pristine condition. They kept my rings in individual tamper proof security bags that have unique identification numbers- and they seal it, encourage you to write the number down, and open it right in front of you when you collect your items. The paperwork was quick, clear, & loan terms and interest rates are SO much better than any lending company I've interacted with! They even have a feature to get text notifications about upcoming interest payment dates which eased a lot of my worries. They actually care about their customers, and I am so thankful they were there to help me through a time of financial hardship. Hands down THE best pawn shop, and the only one I'd ever go back to!!! Thank you again! read more

First and 2nd time both such great experience. First time Zhedo helped me with my loan. He was so patient and answered all my questions clearly. I asked him to check a few items for pricing, his excellent customer service never failed. The 2nd time I had Simon helping me and he was exceptional as well. Both were friendly, fair, respectful and accommodating. The shop is immaculate and items were neatly organized with price tags on each. They have a vast collection of cool items at a reasonable price too. They have their own parking lot behind the shop which is really convenient. Street parking is also available but I would caution you to check the signs as there are certain peak hours that you can't park on the street. I highly recommend them as they treat your items with care and they ensure that it is secured as well as safe in their hands. Thanks Simon and Zhedo! read more

Found a great deal on a piece of equipment for my work. The two guys I dealt with here were both great. Helpful on the phone and in person. I was happy with the arrangement and appreciated their help. Thanks guys! read more

Generally, I'm not the kind of person who takes the time to review anything. That being said, when I have an exceptional experience like I did with the fine gentlemen of this establishment today, I can't help but give praise where it's rightly due! Having only been to a so called "pawn shop" once, during my oh so joyful tenure here in Los Angeles, I'd hoped to never find myself inside one again. After today, it's humbling to find just how wrong/disillusioned I've been all these years! If you're feeling nervous about even going in or unsure of how such things work like I was, look no further than this little gem! The gentlemen running the establishment, as well as the one who assisted me personally, were of the utmost professionalism. The atmosphere they provided put me at ease the INSTANT I stepped foot inside. Following my beloved Grandmother's last wishes to make use of a few things from her jewelry box instead of,"leaving them to the spiders", has been an extremely difficult thing to work up to. The experience they provided from start to finish made it feel like I was doing exactly as she'd intended for me to. I offer my sincerest gratitude to you guys and wish your business much prosperity and good fortune! read more

Love the way these gentlemen do business here, great deals and better products, I even took my gold chain back in there because it was bent and Ramin fixed it for me free of charge! told me everything isn't about money! Now don't go there expecting free things im just saying there's men of grand character in there conducting great business!! I'll be back for sure! P.S. my mom has also done business with them and loves these guys. read more

I recommend this place. Nshan is the best and he know his stuff. I am glad I went there.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE I came here to look at some watches with my man...just looking for fun. Art, the owner, chatted with us about the various watches. The shop was kind of busy this particular day, but he never made us feel rushed or hurried us in any way. While we were in the shop, he cleaned my ring for me...just because. So now Valentine's is coming up and as I was driving by, I decided to stop in and have a look at those watches again. Art was not in yet, but the two guys in the shop were also great! Nshan helped me and answered all my questions. I know very little about watches. Long story short, I got a watch for my man! I got my ring cleaned! ...& the next time I need a little happy for me, I will stop by here to check out the sparkly items! Thank you so much, guys! You are all appreciated! read more
