I was in contact with Eric the entire time and he was patient and prompt in all his responses to my silly emails and last-minute changes. We chose the gold package, but we also added a few other options - private passenger bus, on-site coordinator, ukulele player, haku lei, and maile lei. They were super receptive when we said we wanted to also have a friend officiate the second part of the wedding (vows and the pronouncement of man and wife). Sarah took our photos and was so friendly and great at suggestions. I especially love that she let us have a few private moments to just enjoy the sunset after taking all our photos...it was beautiful and special. Eric was not only the office contact, but he was our on-site coordinator, which was a nice surprise to meet him in person. He was great at wrangling all 29 of us together and guiding us to the ceremony site. He was awesome at keeping me informed of what to expect for every step of the way....before and after. I especially was appreciative of him reminding us about the marriage license....I filled out the application, but I almost forgot to schedule an appointment! The ceremony site itself exceeded my expectations....majestic Diamond Head in the background! So beautiful!! The ceremony officiant, Lindsay, was sweet and patient with us. The traditional part of the ceremony was beautiful and so meaningful. She explained every component and I loved the lei exchange and the traditional Hawaiian vows. Chinese-speaking support: This was helpful for family members who aren't comfortable communicating in English. 3. Natural-looking photos: The photo style is natural, and they were willing to accommodate some of our shot requests. 4. Makeup recommendation: The makeup artist they recommended (Abbie) was good, provided us polished makeup, and she was attentive and responsible with touch-ups. Major Cons 1. Big attitude shift after we signed. Before we signed, communication was quick and friendly. After signing, there was a period when they became extremely difficult to reach. I understand wedding season is busy, but going 1-2 weeks with no response is not acceptable. It made us feel like our wedding simply wasn't important to them. 2. Rude, harsh tone on the wedding day. Right before the ceremony started, the coordinator (CJ) sharply asked me, my husband, and my dad: "You didn't practice the handoff?" That kind of accusatory, sarcastic comment is the last thing a couple needs moments before walking down the aisle. It's the coordinator's job to guide the process, not blame the family. It immediately put us in a bad mood. 3. Dismissive of the bride's requests. I wanted the family members to walk down the aisle, and I had already discussed it with the band. CJ responded with an unpleasant, challenging tone--"They're walking too?" To avoid conflict and protect my mood, I gave in and said only the groom would walk. That also meant we lost the moment we planned with Canon, a piece I really love. I'm still sad about that. 4. Poor vendor coordination. Even something as basic as the cake delivery became something I had to worry about myself. If there was an issue, it should have been communicated ahead of time, not brought up last-minute on the wedding day. 5. Weak handling of time changes / emergencies. We were delayed by a little over ten minutes due to circumstances outside our control. Even with that, we still should have had a short pre-ceremony photo window to breathe, listen to the music, take photos, and settle our nerves. Instead, because the coordinator didn't clarify details with the band in advance, they immediately rushed everything when we arrived. Many songs I carefully chose were never heard. The priority felt like "finish the schedule," not "help the couple enjoy their wedding." 6. Package items not delivered. There should be musicians playing/singing a few songs during post-ceremony photo time to keep the atmosphere lively. That never happened. 7. Edited photos delivered very late, and then they stopped responding. After the wedding, I had to ask twice just to receive the retouched photos, and they looked rushed and rough, like they were done quickly before sent out. We then requested re-edits. At first there were replies (though I still had to keep following up). But after the last round of feedback, more than two months passed and I still never received the updated photos. I sent multiple follow-up emails and got no response. Minor Cons 1. Inconsistent pricing and a depends on mood feel. Small add-on services kept changing price, sometimes the same service was quoted at $100, other times $40. That lack of consistency felt unprofessional. 2. Limited vendor recommendations. I ended up finding most vendors myself. The florist they recommended was also significantly more expensive, over 60% higher than the florist I found. Overall If I had to score it out of 100: * Coordination: 50/100 * Photography: 80/100 * Photo editing/delivery: 50/100 The biggest issue is that the planner/coordinator and photographer they provided were the same person, and unfortunately neither role was handled well. I wouldn't recommend this setup. For future couples: it's much better to hire different specialists rather than one person trying to cover multiple vendor roles.

They also consistently told us how incredibly "on it" Sandra was. And on the wedding day, we just... enjoyed it. Everything ran so smoothly that we could be fully present. Seeing everything we'd spent a year planning and envisioning finally come to life, even more beautifully than we imagined, was so special. First and foremost, if you're on the fence on wedding planning and/or coordination, I hope this review convinces you that it is 100% worth it, and if that's the case, Sally and team are 1000% worth it. Like many couples, my wife and I were one of the Covid couples that had postponed their 2020 wedding. We decided to shift our wedding to the islands to keep it closer to some family and also help keep our wedding size smaller. We initially found our venue at the end of 2020, but made no planning until April of 2021 when we felt safer on having a wedding. At that point, we had nothing else planned and knew we needed help. We started off with an initial phone call with Sally, and we knew right away that we wanted to partner and work with Sally. This was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Despite only having a few months to plan everything, Sally and team helped make our day a reality and success. I will share a few anecdotes to help convince you that you should work with this team. 1. Despite only planning the wedding with about 3.5 months of lead time, at no point did my wife and I feel any stress related to the planning. Our only stressors were associated with the pandemic which was out of the control of both us and any vendor. Despite that, Sally made sure to have our back on all our planning. My wife and I were fully able to focus on our work and a recent home purchase that we made. At no point did wedding planning cause us any stress and Sally and team were really helpful to make sure of that. 2. Vendor selections - We had a few inspiration pictures and boards that we shared with Sally, and she helped us make the perfect selection for exactly what we wanted. These were things such as our furniture rentals, place setting, dance floor, and many more things you don't think about initially like a welcome sign! Moreover, Sally helped work to make sure we were efficient with our dollars even helping us book more price efficient items like the dance floor from vendors she works and is familiar with. 3. Since this was a destination wedding, Sally made sure to go to our wedding venue and work with our contact at the venue to preview layout. Moreover, it was the first time our DJ worked at this site (and they were awesome too by the way), so Sally went with them to preview the space. We had a detailed floor plan and an idea on how the day would be executed. We met the day prior to go over the details so that everyone would be comfortable on the day of the wedding. 4. Finally - we had no issues at our wedding and it was a wonderful celebration. For example, we took a little bit longer on taking some photos that we wanted (our choice), and Sally and team were there to help make sure we got everything back on track - helping us grab our room key from our friend while we took pictures, meeting us at the room, and then helping bring back items to our room at the end of the night. All of these things were unprompted by us, but ultimately made a difference in making sure the night went well. These are the small things you won't initially notice or think of, but really help make a difference. We had many guests tell us that it was one of their favorite weddings they've been to. Sometimes you'll think this is flattery, but the fact that many have shared it with us has made us extremely happy. This is in part thanks to Sally and team.
