There certainly are very valid reasons for only selecting an experienced, reputable breeder, and…read morehere are a few. Von Muntz Rottweilers in Plant City FL was one of two breeders we chose that had experience and an excellent reputation, also had what we would consider a fantastic bloodline. We have owned large breed dogs for over 40 years, and the criteria we use most is health when choosing a puppy/breeder. The show stuff is nice but really not very important to us. Unfortunately, we were faced with getting on a waiting list with no promises from either breeder. Von Muntz offered us puppies from her female with an inexperienced breeder in California. (Inexperienced was how she described this breeder to me). We were concerned about logistics and the stress on the puppy so we declined initially. We eventually contacted the breeder in California Vom De Gracia- Jaime, who assured us it would be a smooth transaction and the puppy would be fine; he would take care of everything. We watched videos of all the pups and chose one. Valid reason number one! We requested a direct flight and were willing to pay any additional cost. Jamie attempted to book a flight through Washington with an overnight stay, then direct to Boston. I don't believe he had ill intent. Just inexperienced. When Von Muntz in FL was made aware of this, she informed him that it would be hazardous for a (not fully vaccinated) young puppy to overnight in a kennel with other dogs. She gave him advice on what airline to use and we were able to book a direct flight. Valid reason number two! He promised us health records on the parents but only provided documentation for one. Valid reason number three! Two hours into the flight we received a call from Jamie, letting us know we would likely be getting the wrong puppy. I asked how this could happen. He initially blamed everything on the airlines, then, in subsequent conversations, expressed to me in retrospect he concluded it would be prudent to bring someone with him the next time he ships dogs. I can't say who screwed up, but at the very least, this is one reason to not ship a dog from out of state. The airport was in another state and it was an all-day trip for us. Remember that we just put down our nine-year-old male Rottweiler four weeks earlier. My wife and kids came along for the ride. This puppy was adorable, and we immediately began to bond. It appears that the puppy we chose went to New Mexico. Jamie was apologetic and said he wanted to make things right. The problem is I don't know how you can adequately correct a mistake of this magnitude. Make the dogs travel in the belly of the plane again? What kind of environment was my puppy exposed to? The interactions must be limited until your puppy is fully vaccinated. Would I have to travel back to Boston and lose another day? Was the right dog going to be delivered this time? These were challenges Jamie and I could not overcome, along with the fact that my family had already bonded with this dog. The dog we received we were told, was the pick of the letter, chosen to be a working dog. Remember that this does not increase our value and could be a disadvantage in some ways, considering we only want a pet, just another family member. However, I told Jamie if we were happy with the dog we would be happy to pay him an additional $500 (Going rate for his pick of the letter) it's really not about the money for us. Having not received the health documentation and now the loss of confidence we decided to wait... Well, here we are three weeks later. We love our new puppy but have no records. We don't know the parents' health or what shots to give him when we go to the vet. Jamie has become condescending and sarcastic and demands we pay him $500 before he releases any documentation. Buyer, beware. Dog, wonderful, business transaction sucked

Tiffany and Liz are awesome, offers health testing, two year warranty on health, and AKC…read moreregistration. always quick to respond if you need any info or questions about a puppy. nothing but great things to say about her and Liz!

We purchased two male corgis from Tiffany about a year apart. I should have trusted my instincts…read morewhen dealing with her the first time around. No communication, but gladly took our money for a wait list. We had to keep following up with her to get updates otherwise she would have happily taken our funds and ghosted us. After reading other reviews here I can see that I am not alone in my experience with her. Her 'contract' is written very one-sided and holds no recourse for breach on her part, but imparts severe civil penalties to those who break the terms (purchasers). She does not have any reliable way to reach her which has prompted me to begin legal proceedings and at the advice of my attorney I will also be pursuing criminal complaints against her. I have a hunch she is no stranger to those either. Luckily, both of our boys are healthy and have not suffered the fates others have shared in their reviews. However, our boys are half-siblings showing pretty serious aggression toward each other, prompting us to invoke a clause in her contract to surrender one of the dogs back to her. No response for over a year. I have contacted her on Facebook, email and text, as has my spouse. It's very well documented and will be a key piece in my next steps against Tiffany. Tiffany has pretty terrible business ethics and based on other online searches she also has a significant problem with care of the animals she breeds. It is my opinion that she is shifty and knowingly scams people, which is where the criminal complaint comes into order. If you are reading this run away from this 'breeder'. Tiffany may think she is playing a nice con by taking people's money, but she has yet to meet someone like me who will hold her accountable. This will well exceed a small claims judgement. If you are one of her victims you may also want to look into advice on pursuing criminal complaints against her. I also strongly encourage people who have been scammed to look into her operating an unlicensed business and accepting Venmo and Cash App payments (which I would imagine she doesn't claim on her taxes). People like Tiffany can only dodge justice for a bit. Hopefully I will be the one to ensure justice finds her and lands her in jail. Please join me in pushing this through all the way with criminal and civil penalties.

The breeder can be a little spotty with the communication, at times we were frustrated with the lack of updates and we were not sure if the pick up time would happen at the previously discussed date until we got a last minute notification to pick him up. If you can get through the communication issues, you are in for a great cat. Otherwise practice payer protection methods as a safe guard.

She was also one of the few breeders with available kittens so close to Christmas. Another reputable ragdoll breeder also confirmed that Patricia was a good breeder. I'm very scared of any cat mills, so PLEASE stay away from weird sounding online breeders and pet store puppies or kittens! I texted Patricia and she contacted me via text, sending me many pictures of available kittens. She then called me and we discussed ragdolls. She is very honest about her kittens and cats and was a wealth of information. I wasn't sure about allergies in my family until after I spoke with her and did a test with another ragdoll owner. When I let her know we could not tolerate ragdolls, she was very sweet and wished me luck. If you're looking for a ragdoll cat or kitten, definitely contact Patricia. I didn't get to buy a kitten from her but would definitely recommend her to anyone looking.
