Diamond Collision Specialist: Absolutely the worst experience ever! Consumers beware, and if you have a choice, RUN RUN RUN to any mechanic anywhere else! I wish I'd looked these guys up online before ever having the misfortune of my car being towed there. (Portside Towing, which hopefully will lose its AAA affiliation, is owned by Steve who owns Diamond Collision, and he directs your car there). It took days to do the estimate (when they'd promised me for the same day), his estimates are apparently always huge, he's hard to reach but seems very friendly until the moment you do not agree. His towing, which he'd told me was "completely free" to Diamond, was then added on as a $75.00 charge when I went to take my car elsewhere for a second opinion. He had done NOTHING with my car but sit on it for days and days, and when I told him I'd be taking it, the estimate charge in order to release the car was $245.00. Period. Oh, plus that towing charge, he said, claiming that it was only free if I got work done there. After telling him that AAA would probably like to know how he misinforms his potential customers, he took it back off "Oh! I just don't know what I was thinking! Of COURSE you don't pay for towing, silly me," he'd said. This man does not care about reputation, about the customer, about relationships--he cares 100% about the bottom line. I never pursue anything like this, but his whole demeanor was so bizarre and creepy that it's really stuck with me, PLUS when I took the car elsewhere they did the work for $1,300, after Diamond's estimate of $1,800. plus. Complaints from others in the past to BBB that I looked up had to be closed because Diamond Collision does not respond, they suggested I take it to Attorney General's office, and I have also opened a file with AAA for them to review, hoping to help others avoid this place. AAA seems to be well aware of other complaints about this business, which I found to be interesting. I contacted Steve and let him know that he had a chance to make this right or I would have to follow up elsewhere--no response, of course. If you have to push and drag your car yourself, if it's the only way to keep it away from Portside Towing and out of Diamond Collison, do it!! By the way, the driver was nice: Kevin. I'm not one who writes reviews. I read them but have never written one. However, after dealing with Diamond Collision twice in the last few months, I decided that Dave and his employees deserved to hear my comments. This past Spring a good sized truck backed into my car in a parking lot and caused quite a bit of damage. Diamond Collision arranged for me to have a rental car and then repaired my car. I got my 2005 van back looking like new both outside and inside. This was the second time I had dealt with Diamond Collision and I was a very satisfied customer. They appreciated my business and treated me with respect. Recently, I returned to have a problem with my door fixed, The part arrived in 1 to 2 days and I waited there while the job was completed. During that time I couldn't help but overhear a number of phonecalls from customers. .It was so obvious that these people were being given the best attention they could receive as customers. Diamond Collision handled every phonecall very professionally and seemed to go out of their way to help the person at the other end of the line . My son attends school in Providence. He had to make a trip to Marstons Mills in his Ford truck and while on the Cape the truck broke down alongside the highway. Diamond Collision was dispatched to assist him. Turns out that my son had left his wallet and money at home. You could say he was in a real jam. I live in Pennsylvania so my assistance was out of the question. Dave from Diamond towed the car to his garage, drove my son to the bus station AND gave him $20 dollars!!!! Talk about quality service and caring! I followed up with Dave to settle the bill. You know how these things can go. I'm 200 miles away with no way to confirm whatever he's about to tell me about the truck. Well, it turns out it was a relatively minor issue and my total bill was less than $180. And that included the $20 he gave my son. Seriously, you can imagine my delight knowing that the truck was repairable and that I was very reasonably charged. Worse experience ever! These ppl are conning insurance companies! Diamond port side will never tow or touch another of my vehicles again. Had to involve police and threaten to sue to get them to drop their 5k tow claims! Tried telling us we had to pay them for repair of a guardrail and 2 trees! A service that has zero to do with them. A DOT matter with insurance co. Not diamond they do not replace any damaged property but they try to bill customers for it. I have Reported them for insurance fraud. Hope they get shut down and police stop using them. They already lost there AAA accreditation for faulty work and conning customers. My wife's car was towed here after an accident. Dave was amazing and walked us through the entire process. There were no hoops to jump through or double talk. Everything was laid out in plain English and explained to us. Dave even waited around an hour after close on a Friday until we could get to the shop to pick up the car for the weekend. I met the mechanics while there and they were great guys as well. Great guys, great work and very easy through insurance. I will use them again in the future if I need to. Thank you! read more

Judging by what I've heard of this place, DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! They hire bigots who openly call customers homophobic slurs and then try to cover it up. They take forever to do a simple job, won't quote you a price when you show up, insult and harass you while keeping you waiting then threaten to junk your entire car if you won't put up with their abuse. Diamond Collision saved my vacation! They were the responding tow and I had planned to have the car towed to the dealer, but the dealer said they couldn't even look at it for three days. Diamond looked at the car immediately, had a diagnosis, ordered the part and did the work in time for me to be on my way home when I had to go. I can't say a enough good things about this place. They have a new manager Mike who is absolutely great. He bent over backwards to help me and my girlfriend out when are car was towed there. These guys are the best!!! Recently, they had repaired one of the fenders on my 2014 Honda Accord, and it looks like the vehicle was never involved in an accident. Plus, the paint that was used for the fender was much higher quality than the manufacturer's. I recommend Diamond Collision to anyone who lives near the greater Bourne area. Every once in a while you find a business that is run by genuinely good people. I got stuck having my car towed under unusual circumstances yesterday and the general manager Dave could not have been more understanding and accomodating.
