I took my 2019 Mercedes AMG GLE 43 in to get the brakes done. They did a great job on the brakes but they broke my windshield. They gave me several as to why it happened; it was there already, it happened on my way home, blah blah blah. I told them we have 100% glass coverage and zero deductible (as most do in Mass) so it wont cost me a penny to replace this but there's principle involved here. They broke it, own up to it. I gave them every opportunity to do the right thing and they just continued to give me every excuse in the book. I wont be going back there ever again. read more

These guys are great. They know their stuff . Any wiring issue or alternator they are all over it. This is my second time there. First was an ECU wiring problem that caused my hatch not to open. They figured it out. Second was just this Monday . I got my car back Wednesday with a new alternator, before the Thanksgiving Day Holiday. Their prices are reasonable and they are quick to get the repair done. They are the only place I would bring my car on cape. read more

My check engine light was on after my last service. I took it in twice as they are so busy they couldn't get thru the diagnostics. When I came back the bill total was $1030 for a $40 part and multiple diagnostic checks and labor to remove fuel injector to find out that nothing was wrong with the fuel injector. So from my perspective I did not get any value from all his diagnostics and labor as nothing materially was accomplished. I understand that he needs to get paid for his labor but the business needs provide real value beyond just billing hours . I did not see any value in the $1000 of diagnostics and resulting labor. At the end I explained I was unhappy with the poor service; when I call I am always put on hold, when I bring the car in they are too busy to do the work requested, and when I pick up the car the bill seems to include excessive labor, so I wouldn't be coming back. Their service level has deteriorated in the year I have used them but they seem to have enough business that they don't seem to care about customer retention. When I got in the car I realized they never fixed the bulb I took the car in twice to have fixed. I won't be back. read more

I recently purchased a 2018 Volvo V60 Cross Country and am planning to drive it to Florida next month. Took it in for a oil change and safety check of all aspects of the car. The work was completed in one hour and other than the charge for the synthetic oil change and 1/2 hour labor charge for the safety inspection, there were no surprise charges or issues. This is one of the few car repair shops in my many years of car ownership that I trust will be honest with me. read more

Do NOT go here for inspection stickers they are extremely dishonest. They told me I needed a new exhaust and they could fix it for $900.00 after I had already has my exhaust replaced at a very reputable shop in hyannis. I went to a different inspection station and they gave me a sticker and told me my exhaust was new and didn't need replacement. read more

Estimates for work on 2 vehicles, way too high. Enjoyed the friendly service and the clean waitng area. But when I got the estimate for both vehicles, holy shit! I came into world tech auto center after being recommended by a friend. I'm not from around here and my car stopped blowing cold air all of the sudden. Took it to a different shop where they tried to "recharge" and they said it was my compressor AND condensor and quoted me $2300 for parts and service. I left there on the brink of tears calling my dad and uncle (who is a mechanic back home). They told me to get a second opinion. I started asking around at work and was told to come try World Tech Auto Center because they're absolutely amazing. I told them what I was originally told and the quote I was given for price. I left my car with them for a merely 4 hours and then was told it was only my compressor and that it would cost way less than what I was told. World tech auto center is a great place to take your car. They're reliable, friendly, and work extremely hard. As a person who doesn't know much about cars, it's scary when taking your car in because you have to trust that person to not scam you. Clearly, the first place wanted to scam me. World tech did not. Brought my 2012 Volkswagen Touareg TDI to these guys because they advertise they work on Volkswagen. After the vehicle was there for two weeks I was told they can not accurately diagnose the problem and that it might cost $10,000 to fix. I was charged $250 to be told they can't work on the vehicle. Fast and very friendly service. Had to have a water pump changed in my Jeep and the Chrysler dealer was backed up for weeks so couldn't take me. World Tech had me done in a day so I could go enjoy the rest of my vacation. The only issue I have (which is why 4* and not 5, they definitely get 5* for service) is an hour labor charge to diagnose the problem. Usually, in my experience, vehicle service establishments will waive the diagnostic if you have the repair performed there otherwise awesome. read more

Top notch. I really do not think that an independent service center like this exists anywhere in United States. Perfection is an understatement. Brought my Mercedes after getting a quote from Prime, they beat their price by 40 %. The Mercedes service center told me that no matter where I go in the end I have to come back to them because programming is required, well guess what, World Tech did the programming right at their location. The owner Bes walked me in the back and show me the tech lab as he was referring. I have never seen anything like that. Over 500 different cables, different screens and scan tools everything was organized, numbered and tagged. He claimed that since the right to repair law was passed he now can work on a dealer level on all makes and models, and he has invested over 200K on technology to compete with dealerships. We were very please with the workmanship and the prices, and we have been sending everybody we know there. read more

I brought my car in last summer when I was on vacation and the technicians were going to charge me $1300. plus to replace the struts. I told them that they had recently been replaced and called my mechanic at home. He said that it was not possible that my struts needed replacing and suggested that I leave. I did and the problem sorted itself out (a tightness on steering). I do not think this is a trustworthy business. This is the first yelp review I have ever written but others need to be warned. I first brought my car to World Tech Auto Center because my engine light was on. I was told by WTAC that it was because of the Thermostat. Fixed for $1349 A few weeks later, my car, intermittently, would not start. I was told at WTAC it was a bad starter and ignition switch. No reason to doubt them? They the experts, right? Fixed for $1159 My car continued to have the same problem. Obviously it was not the starter or the ignition switch. Please note that prior to WTAC replacing my thermostat, the car had no starting issues. I had moved 100 miles from Hudson which is why I did not bring it to Bolts Garage in Hudson (wish I had, my mechanic for 10 years, awesome by the way), I was hoping that WTAC would now be able to take care of my auto repair needs. Do I now want to bring it back there again???? Never. So up to Hudson I went. Bolts Garage, David the owner, checked out the car for me and found that the thermostat, the one WTAC had installed, was leaking coolant, it was running down the wiring harness and getting into my cars computer and other parts. Why couldn't WTAC see this?? This all caused quite a bit of damage and that was the reason it was not starting properly. I had Bolts fix it, as it was not going to do my car any good by driving it 100 miles back to the Cape while it leaked more coolant into my computer. I knew Bolts would repair it properly and not overcharge me. Not to mention, I had lost total faith in WTAC. I feel they do not do quality work and do not stand behind their work either. By the way, $1700 to fix the damage. I went back to WTAC and tried to talk to them about all of this. The manager was given all three bills. He looked them over quickly, went on the computer, and then walked over to me and proceeded to toss the bills at me and tell me that this was all crap and that this was a bogus claim. He then turned around and walked away. I asked him if he was going to call Bolts Garage and speak with the owner? He got on the phone, and the minute the answering machine picked up, he hung up and said they were closed. When in fact they were not, they just didn't get to the phone in time. He didn't even try to leave a voice message. He just walked out of the room, wouldn't talk to me and did not look back. The manager at WTAC was very rude to me. I have not gone back as I feel I will not be treated well, or maybe even spoken to at all. He was unwilling to have any kind of reconciliation. It's really sad that you can't walk in to a repair shop, be treated decently, and be able to trust the shop will do right by their customers and not do unnecessary work. read more
